Computer Sending Emails To Random People From My Hotmail Contacts
Feb 7, 2012
i been experiencing a problem with my computer sending emails to random people from my hotmail contacts .This has been going on for quite a while now and i still cant figure it out.
Every time I send an email from my windows live mail account to a hotmail account it shows as sent but the person is not receiving it I can send to gmail and i can send any other emails but just not hotmail
How do I know if I have a message from one of my messenger contacts? I logged into my Hotmail account and I have a (1) at the top of my screen beside Messenger. When I click on it the name of my contact appears. But the thing is there is no message. Just the person's name. Does that mean they have just hit me up to let me know they want to talk?
I have windows 7 64 and in my hotmail there are email accounts that I can't delete. They must be spam placed there from a website I visited. When I click on CC, they show up in the list, but when I go to manage my contacts, they are not there.
I have installed MS Office 2010 on a new windows 7 laptop and set up outlook using the same info as on my old xp pc, I seem to be able to send emails but am not receiving them. I have also set up outlook connector for my hotmail account and this is working fine.
using windows 7 64bit sp1 with windows live mail, when I got the pc it didn't have an email program installed, it advised on downloading live mail which I did, recently I have been sending photos to family but they are claiming they are receiving multiple emails but are unable to view the photos, just the placeholder,I have looked through the setting but I must be missing something,I have downloaded incredimail 2.0 but for some reason that can't find my contacts?
I am unable to send emails, I keep getting the following fault: - Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Subject 'test' Server: 'smtp.homecall.co.uk' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F Protocol: SMTP Port: 25 Secure(SSL): No
I was able to send a group list emails a week ago but now it only sits in the outbox and never sends. I have 68 people in the list and as stated was able to send this a week ago but not able to no matter what i do. I am running windows 7 64 bit. I am using Go Daddy and I have called them and they tell me it is in the outlook but I have someone else send the email from their outlook with the same setting and it goes fine.
I have just started using Windows Live Mail a few weeks ago. I sent a mass email out to a bunch of people regarding a club event. A message pops up saying: The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for 'email address', please contact your email service provider. Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC79 Now every time I exit Windows Live it says you have unsent messages in your inbox, do you want to send them now? When I push yes, the same message as above comes up. And when I exit the program and restart it, I cannot send emails but I can recieve them.
On my Hotmail inbox on Windows Live Hotmail, when I press New to send mail, It goes to new e-mail and then displays ,Ïnternet Explorer has stopped working."
After sending mails with medium-sized MP3 attachments (2-3MB), the sent file still appears in my outbox, and if I close down LiveMail it tells me I have an unsent message and would I like to send it. If I say no it sends it anyway! Recipients have received up to 4 copies of the sent mail. This doesn't happen with mails that don't have an attachment.
So after about a year of pretty faithful service my computer has stopped sending anything to a monitor. I've tried 3 different monitors, 2 cords, even tried taking the video card out and plugging it directly into the mother board port. Still wont send anything to a monitor. The computer turns on, the lights on the keyboard flash, the Mp3 plugged in via USB charges, though the lights on my wireless receiver to not turn on either. The beep your computer does when it boots up correctly is noticebly absent as well.
I dont know if this is the right area or not, as i just joined, but it seems to be the best place. I recently bought a new computer, and now it will randomly shut down. Its also making loud pitch noises. That just started happening. I called tech support and they told me it was probably just the power supply. Before I send it in though, i want to make sure that is what is wrong. I dont know all to put on here.
I have a laptop so I do plug into my TV from ever now and then to watch movies and play games but I mean if you have 2 monitors for extend desktop or whatever you use it for whats the point of that? I myself cant think of many uses for such a feature but then I not really thought about it.
Just Curious in whether a lot of the Windows 7 community have tried W8 at all.I really like Windows 7 but I've also been incredibly surprised at how stable and fast W8 is too -- It's primarily based on Windows 7 but it is a bit different. To me it's amazing that Windows 7 has evolved into something that could be used as a competitor to Android on mobile devices / tablets while still retaining features that are still needed on a PC using a "Classical OS".
I'm an IT Major at Boise State University and I often get a lot of people coming to me asking if I can reformat their PC for them. I was just wondering how most IT Professionals are able to reformat peoples PC's. Other then buying a new version of Microsoft Windows for every client, what service (if any) do IT professionals use? I know that Windows 7 Iso's are available online directly from microsoft, so theoretically if the person had their License sticker on their PC, you could reformat it using that. But as far as other software goes, (vista, office, XP, ect....) How do IT Pros do it? I've heard about Technet, but am not sure if thats what it's purpose is for.
Certain online games we play use P2P connections. We are playing from the same network thus have the same IP address. We have opened/forward required ports for the game, enabled DMZ, tried using Hamachi to no avail. Would purchasing a 2nd IP address from our ISP fix this problem?
I'm looking for a cloud storage to use with a group of people. It should provide >5GB storage,be usable on Windows and Linux and free.
- I don't find "My Sky Drive" to mount it as locale drive.
- What is the difference between "Documents" and "My files".
- How does the "Sharing" feature works. What does happen with the mails I enter in the formula? who can they access the files? Especially if they don't have a live ID?
- What does "Syncron SkyDrive" is? Didn't understand how it works?
i've setup a media pc for my family and kids, which boots into win 7 ultimate and then eventually into XBMC. My question relates to windows.I want to stop kids/family from accessing the boot menu, which shows in the event of a crash or by them pressing F8.How can i stop them from accessing the boot menu? Can i password protect it? What do you recommend?
