I have an asrock 775dual-VSTA and I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate, 32bit.
Things seemed fine, but I realized my USB was performing very slowly.
For example, it takes hours and hours just to upload a few albums to my iPod.
I presume it's a motherboard driver problem. Does anyone know of a fix for this? I dont see any Windows 7 drivers from Asrock for this Mobo.
Im *really* hoping I dont have to buy a new one.
Here are some screenshots from my Device Manager. As you can see, USB seems to be fine, but there are those unknown devices that I have no idea what they are. As far as I can tell, everything is working fine except the USB speed so I presume these unknown devices are related?
whether it would be ok to run a Nvidia 7800GT and Nvidia 9500GT graphics cards side by side, safely on this mobo. Obviously i do not intend to run in SLI mode, i just want to run 4 monitors from all four outputs.
i'm building budget gaming Pc, and i so decided to get ASRock Z77 EXTREME4-M instead of ASRock Z77 EXTREME4. The ( -M ) version costs 30$ less and that's ALOT in my country. And i just can't seem to find the difference between these two boards, what do you people think about this motherboard?
For some reason my USB 3.0 4-port hub is being seen as a USB 2.0 hub. I've tried unplugging the usb 3 cable and rebooting and reattaching the cable to my USB 3.0 Card, but it still sees as a USB 2 hub
W7 Professional is installed and working great except that I cannot get my second monitor to work.
Worked fine in XP using a Tritton UV100 USB2 adapter.
Downloaded new W7 drivers from Tritton, installed them OK, and the second monitor is listed on the devices page as a USB2 VGA device, but in the column for Unspecified Device, and does not show up in the Control Panel display where screen is normally extended to 2 monitors.
Have tried all combinations of connecting monitor first, then drivers; or drivers first, followed by monitors. It has to be something really simple that i am missing.
I am running a via chipset which was working fine on Vista. I have now installed windows 7 and all of my front connected and motherboard mounted USB 2 ports are now working as USB 1 (seriously making my iPhone syncing life a misery).
If needed I will post my motherboard etc when at home, as can't remember off top of head.
I have tried flashing BIOS and installing drivers for chipset (those which would work on 7 anyway) but Via USB seem to be coming through windows update since XP, so not much joy there as nothing on 7 WU.
Any Ideas, as I thought there would be more about this issue out there?
i recently bought a USB3 2.5" 1TB toshiba drive and it works fine on my USB3 ports but it doesn't work on my USB2 ports. Non of the people i have asked seem to know why. i Have 3.5" usb3 2TB that works on both USB3 and USB2, so the only thing i can think of is that the 2.5" draws more power from the USB3 ports thus allowing it to run.
I connect an external device that supports USB3.0 to an USB3.0 port on the computer/mother board using an USB 3.0 cable. I can see in the device manager that there are (intel) drivers that support USB3.0. The external device (WD mypassport) advertises USB 3.0 support. Is there a way to find out in windows 7 (home premium) if the actual usb connection is really using USB3.0 or if it is falling back into USB2? Is the transmission speed in the USB connection the only hint about what is happening in the USB connection. That is, a higher speed means that USB 3.0 is really being used?
I have a Windows 7 installer DVD, but I would like to transfer the files to a USB 2.0 flash stick to install from there instead of a DVD. Can someone post a link to instructions for this and the software I need to put the files on the flash and make it bootable. There seem to be a number of applications that do this, but I would like to know that I am using something that is safe and proven to work well.
I want to download the drivers for the Asrock z77 Extreme4, the Intel i3-2120 and the XFX R7870 2GB but I can't figure out which to install. Here's the link I'm [URL]...
So I have an Asrock 870 Extreme3 motherboard. It has an ethernet port in it, however whenever I stick my disk in for the drivers my computer completely freezes. I tried downloading the LAN driver from here: [URL] but it tells me: "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep mod is enabled Please Plug the Cable." I'm not sure if this was the right driver?
I am having problems installing WIN7 home premium on a new ASROCK ION 330 HT PC . It goes well up to completing the installation, when I think it is trying to restart the PC and all I get is a blank screen. After powering off and starting again, I get the windows shut down completed unsuccessfully message. I start windows normally. The Windows load goes as af as the logo after which I get another blank screen. Can anyone shed any light before I send it back? I have done a memory check which was OK and I have rest the BIOS to factory settings.
I just got a brand new mobo, AsRock h55M-LE. I got KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL9 XMP memory sticks. When I try to boot up with one stick which is in slot DDR-B, the comp works. If I put another stick in DDR-A, comp boots up for 5-7 seconds and reboots. I use only one stick in DDR-A it's gonna be same error. So atm only DDR-B with one stick works.I tried to change timings and voltage in BIOS and result was this:9-9-9-27, dram volt 1,65, vtt auto and both sticks in boots up for 5-7 secs and reboots (there's no pic in monitor etc)9-9-9-27, dram volt 1,65, vtt auto and one stick in everything works.9-9-9-25, dram volt 1.5, vtt auto and two sticks in comp boots and stays on but there is no pic in monitor or any light on keyboard etc..9-9-9-25, dram volt 1.5, vtt auto and one stick in everything works. And also tried to change dram frequence but it's the same with all.I have tried both sticks and they both work.
I recently downloaded the AMD all in one driver from this link: [URL]. I have a few issues however:
1) I don't know if this is necessary, but I can't find out my current driver version. I did a google search on how to find it, but the results I received told me to look for a "Motherboard Resources" entry under "System Devices" - problem is that no such entry exists on my system. 2) Whenever I click on the setup file for the driver I downloaded, it launches it using the ATI Catalyst Control Center. Is this right?
I've recently formatted and installed Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit), after doing so all the drivers par from 2 are functioning properly.
In device manager it specifies that two devices are not working properly, a unknown device and High Definition Audio.
My motherboard: http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=ALiveSATA2-GLAN
I've downloaded the latest drivers from realtek (says windows 7 (64bit) compatible), no luck. I tried to use the drivers from the disk supplied by the company when I originally bought the computer, disk cannot load. I've tried downloading sound drivers from the motherboard's website, no luck.
i just built a new pc but my mother board is older than windows 7. i urgently need to find audio drivers for an Intel ASRock 775vm800 motherboard that is compatible with windows 7!!! i cant seem to find any because the motherboard came out before win7
