Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). I have been sent around in circle trying to use the Microsoft fix it 'genius'. I am trying to connect my Smartphone via usb cable to computer. Battery charges but it either does not detect it at all or comes up with the above error message.

I clicked on Device Manager > Other Devices > Mass Storage Controller. Under Device Status it said, "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)."
I don't know what device they are talking about. All the storage devices on my PC seem to be working. Why does DM think there is a Mass Storage Controller at location PCI bus 7, device 1, function 2? I clicked on Update Drive - search failed to find a driver and suggested none needed. I clicked the Uninstall button and the message dissapeared until I rebooted the system.
Can somone tell me why Windows 7 might think there is a Mass Storage Controller on my PC?
When i try to activate my copy of windows 7 ultimate i get the following error message: "Code error:0xc004E003. Description: The Software Licensing Service reported that license evaluation failed"
Here are some basic info of my pc:

I got a new hard drive for my HP Pavilion DV6T-6000. Installed windows 7 ultimate and a bunch of drivers from HP's drivers section for my computer and I still have this unkown device. It wasn't there on my old drive so something isn't right here.
Location: on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
Status: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver. Hardware ID:ACPIHPQ0004
1. First in the device manager, my "Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter is getting and error that says "Windows has shut down this device (code 43)"
2. The speed of the internet spikes between normal speed(10k-18k bytes/s to around 40 bytes a second
3. In the event view there is a warning that says: "NtpClient was unable to set a domain peer to use as a time source because of discovery error. NtpClient will try again in 3473457 minutes and double the reattempt interval thereafter. The error was: The entry is not found. (0x800706E1)"
4. Another problem in the event viewer: "Name resolution for the name isatap.ktechsystems.ca timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded."
5. Yet another problem, at this point my internet slows down to an unbearable speed: "This computer was not able to set up a secure session with a domain controller in domain KTECHSYSTEMS due to the following:
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
This may lead to authentication problems. Make sure that this computer is connected to the network. If the problem persists, please contact your domain administrator.
If this computer is a domain controller for the specified domain, it sets up the secure session to the primary domain controller emulator in the specified domain. Otherwise, this computer sets up the secure session to any domain controller in the specified domain."
If anyone has a suggestion on how i can fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
-internet worked fine while hooked into the router through a cable
After dealing with this issue for over 2 weeks and constant tinkering im freah out of ideas. Every time I launch a game thru steam mainly Half-life 2 games i can get anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes in to it the game will freeze for a second then black screen then back to desktop with a message HL2 has stopped responding. I check event view and thisd is the messages i am getting:
My HP Pavilion with Windows 7 is not seeing my Samsung TS-H653L CD/DVD reader/writer. When checking my Device Manager for this unit, it shows the following message: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)." I tried to "update this driver" but the answer is that "this driver is up to date". Can't find any website with Samsung TS-H653L driver updates. Tried removing the driver and rebooting but same thing happens.
Installed it over 6 weeks ago in windows7 RC 64bit with Vista drivers.
turned my machine on today and suddenly its stopped working with this:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
I haven't touched anything, havent changed anything, I've done nothing.
Why the hell has this happened? I'm screwed now and have to pother about dual booting into XP just to get my artwork finished
Why has Windows 7 suddenly decided to block my drivers that have been working perfectly fine for 6 weeks for no reason!?
I am getting this error in device manager over and over and over, i have uninstalled the driver, and reinstalled it over and over, i keep getting the same error, my hauppauge colossus card was working perfectly then all of a sudden i get this error, i have used ccleaner to repair my registry all to no avail, I think i need to do something in the registry to fix this but have no idea exactly what. What do i do?
I have a Nikon Imaging scanner which my PC detects on connection. I have the correct driver which device manager installs with a code 10 error, the device cannot start. My PC is running Windows 7 64bit. I should point out that the scanner works correctly on my old PC running Windows XP, so there is no problem with the hardware. Anyone got any ideas why I might be getting the code 10 error on my new PC?
I got Windows 7 ultimate 64bit from microsoft technet. Everything is working fine except for the USB ports in the back of my computer, when i go to device manager I get the error: Code 43Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43), I have tried the drivers for my motherboard from the Gigabyte site, the ones for Vista 64bit, but no luck,
I've done a fresh install of Windows 7 yesterday on my desktop PC and I want to use the virtual PC for some USB hardware that doesn't have any x64 drivers.
I can choose the USB devices fine in the virtual machine, they are detected and XP starts the usual hardware install wizard.
However one of my devices gets the yellow exclamation mark in the device manager with a code 10 (device cannot start).
The virtual machine runs XP SP3, my laptop runs XP SP3 as well and there is no problem on there with this hardware. This leads me to believe that it might be a windows 7 Vmachine issue that is causing this.
I've tried removing the hardware and installing it again, but that didn't solve the problem.
Windows 7 ultimate 64, my Atapi iHAS124 B ata CD/DVD device keeps "disappearing" try running the Microsoft "fis it now"...and get A driver service for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. Code 32 Tried uninstalling the device and installing new drivewr....same result. This is the 2nd time it has happened...last time I ended up having to rebuild the system from scratch.
Using Windows 7 on my 3 year old home built system. My 2 year old Logitech gaming mouse suddenly stopped functioning. Upon bootup, the mouse works for about 20 seconds, then the device driver disables it and lists it in the USB list as "unknown device". It works on my other computer just fine, so I don't think the issue is with the mouse itself. Why is the device manager doing this, and how do I enable it?
