I've got a new install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on new hardware - a Foxconn motherboard replacing an older faulty EVGA motherboard. Since install, I've had several explorer.exe crashes, and a few bluescreens.SFC /scannow came back clean. A basic memory test (windows internal test from boot) also came back clean. Running full disk check after posting this. See error description below and attached dump logs.

I have been receiving the ATI display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered error. I formatted a partition on my PC with a fresh install of windows 7, installed latest catalyst drivers but no dice, ramped my fan speed up to 100% to troubleshoot and it definitely worked, stopped getting the error but pc starts seriously lagging after a while (playing spore & Black and White 2) playability also increases if I down the res from 1920 x 1080. This seems to indicate overheating n my opinion but I haven't seen the card go above 57 degrees. My chassis has no fans but with everything at stock should it overheat especially on old games. I have run Prime95 and Furmark all came out fine, no glitches. Max temp on Furmark was 84 degrees.

So I have a pretty terrible problem. Right now, I'm running Windows 7 Build 7100 on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop with Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T3400 at 2.17 GHz and it runs beautifully.
My only problem comes when I'm playing a little game called Guild Wars. It runs pretty good for a while and then I run into my problem. My problem is that my screen goes completely blank and then reappears with this error message.
It happens to me every time I play Guild Wars. It never fails.
Anybody know why it does this? Any advice on what to do?

I am trying to load the site MYHABIT Sign In (don't judge me, ok? lol) and it won't load at all. If I delete the cookies it places on my computer, the home page will load and it will let me log in, but it won't load any of the merchandise pages at all - it just hangs there trying to load - I never get an error of any kind. I had been using OpenDNS after having some other trouble with my ISP, so I tried switching to GoogleDNS but that has made no difference.I ran the flushdns.bat file as instructed in the tips for posting thread, but forgot to save the snip as a jpeg before I ran the bat file.

I am a bit stumped here, my computer at work is getting the display error mentionedabove about every 4 or 5 days or so. When this error occurs the computer unresponsive, it will operate, but at an untolerable speed (like 5 minutes to open browser, during which time the mouse will not even move) The PC is a Dell vostro 220 -[URL]have searched for this error ongoogle and as well as here, but it seems as though this only seems to be happening tothose with discrete GPU's which we do not have. I have installed all windows updatesincluding one for the G45/43 express graphics, and it is still happening

I've been having issues with several computers now. All of them Windows 7 Professional 32 bits. The error they're having is the same on each PC: explorer.exe fails and restarts after clicking Ok to the dialog.
Code:
Level: Error
Source: Application Error
Event ID: 1000
Faulting application: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.175xx, time stamp: <changes>
faulting module: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code : 0xc0000005
I already ran viruschecks and spywarescans. Clean booted. sfc'd. Uninstalled all updates since the week previous to the first error. Created a fresh new profile for the user. Disabled all non-Microsoft shell extensions. Reinstalled Windows. and non on them had made a difference.
The oldest issue is november 6th (there's not a single instance of the error before that date); since then, the issue is happening at least once a day but more like 5-10 times a day. I ran Windbg and for almost all errors it points to "fundisc" module as the culprit, although i don't know what piece of software would be using it. The only updates they had installed are security and critical updates via WSUS.

So I ran the test earlier today , and everything was fine. Max temperature after 11 minutes running the test was as far as I can remember not more than 85 it stayed stable with only 1 degree difference from time to time till I stopped the test. I am with Palit Gtx570 Sonic Platinium video card. So I didn't take a screen because I thought everything was fine. Seven hours later I ran the test again and then suddenly here is what happened :
Actually I bought my computer recently. I am using Windows 7 64bit. I had that problem and here is what I have done:
1.Reinstalling drivers from different sources - Palit, Nvidia and disc drivers. Tried older versions. 2. Reinstalling Windows - putting first the drivers of the video and then the drivers of other devices with the purpose to try to detect if there is a driver conflict. 3. Talked with the distributor which sold me that video card and they changed it with a brand new one. The same model. The first video card had that TDR problem quite often. This one not that often. The first one was able to force the TDR crash in two ways -no need of those test. I installed a game called - World of Warcraft and I tested it there was where i experienced TDRs for first time. After that I found out that I can force them to happen also when I am testing the " Windows experience index" - usually happens on the 3D Geometry and some other 3D tests. Somewhere in the internet I read that it was due to a low core voltage so here comes the : 4. I increased the core voltage a little bit to 1038 with afterburner program. But this didn't help at all. - this is considered for the first video card. Now I am kinda desperate. It cannot be from the vide card to be malfunctioning because it was changed with new one. It is not the driver too... As you can see the first time it passed the test of the FurMark with no reclamations second time it failed. Sometimes it passed windows experience index without a problem , other times it is experiencing TDRs. P.S. Here are the parts I am using - everything is brand new recently bought: i7-2600 3.4 Ghz ; Asrock extreme4 gen3; Palit GTX570 Sonic Platinium; Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb dual channeled 1600 ( CL:9); Seasonic 850W Bronze; Box - Thermaltake RX-I

I just recently reinstalled my computer, and have OVERWHELMINGLY updated all there is to update on this Windows 7 machine. After approximately 20 different restarts, hundreds of updates later.. I have this stubborn little popup coming up, telling me that CLMLsvc.exe has stopped responding? So.. what can I do about this? It has something to do with Cyberlink, but I have no idea exactly what it is or what it does. I've never had any problems with it in the past, so as you can imagine, I'm a little baffled by this little problem. It appears to be taking up lots of my memory, and is constantly appearing to run in the background.

recently i've been getting the same error over a period of anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour and it says display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. it usually happens when watching Internet videos or any videos in general. i also see it sometimes happen on lower end games, but higher end games run fine without it crashing. i recently got a new gfx card that fixed previous crashes as well as the nvlddmkm bsod. the only problem is i've reinstalled the driver many times, tried various ways to reinstall using driver sweeper etc. as well as updated everything from my drivers, chipsets, directx, flash, changing to windows classic, and reinstalling the realtek sound driver

I was recently installed some USB snooping software in order to attempt to reverse engineer a USB driver. Next thing I know, all my USB devices cut out and now Windows 7 refuses to recognise them. As my keyboard and mouse are both USB, I cannot even login to Windows 7 to even start fixing this. Both devices work fine on BIOS and in my dual booted Linux. Is it possible to fix this from my Linux install (I can access the windows 7 partition)? I assume I have managed to mess up the USB drivers, is there any way I can uninstall any drivers that aren't default and let windows reinstall them when I boot back in to windows?

This annoying vista bug persist on my copy of Windows 7 Beta. The screen freezes, goes black, restores - starts showing choppy graphics and frequently gives me a BSOD.
My setup : AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000 Gigabyte GA-M750SLI-DS4 4 Gig RAM Gigabyte GeForce 8600 GT 512Mb w SilentPipe.450W PSU, but I can replace it with a 1kW PSU at any time if needed. This error has been giving me a VERY hard time on vista, SP1 nor any patches nor file swapping didn't help - it is why I've switched to Windows7 - I couldn't get rid of it no matter what - and now it's back, are there any workarounds to this?

I have a dell inspiron 1501 Laptop that came with the vista platform. However, I have upgraded my computer since (and it's been years now as well) to windows 7 ultimate. For months I have been able to use my computer fine with no problems whatsoever pertaining to my Display, but of late, since about 3 months now or so, my computer has been delaying when I am watching movies and now every time I am on it, my display driver keeps on stopping and then displays this message
"DISPLAY DRIVER STOPPED AND HAS RECOVERED"
I get this message I would say almost every 2-5 minutes when I am using my computer. It is getting frustrating because it makes it harder to watch movies, and burn any kind of dvds on my computer.

I recently upgraded to windows 7 from vista to try and solve an issue I have with my video drivers crashing whenever i do something graphically intensive.I opened up a thread on the vista forums here: Video Drivers Crashing - Vista Forums. But it doesn't seem that anyone can help me. I tried all of the basic troubleshooting steps, and have updated all the drivers on my system. The problem I am having is that I upgraded my graphics card recently to an Nvidia 430GT. I have done numerous checks (RAM, CPU, power supply, updated every driver on my system, etc.), and have had the graphics card replaced, but am still receiving the same issue. When I load up video games I will receive the message "Driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has recovered" at random intervals.Sometimes my system will completely freeze because the drivers won't recover. I contacted nvidia about the drivers and they had me try out a few driver versions (which i had already done), before telling me to get the graphics card replaced.
