Sep 15, 2011I want to watch videos on NFL.com but i have poor quality, i tried downloading Akamai NetSession Interface as told by NFL.com but when i click where im told i get a message telling me to click on the download box but there is no download box. Does anyone know of a link where i can download it? being i cant seem to find one anywhere on Akamai's website

I get:"403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied."when trying to get to a ftp web site. Other user account on this machine has no problem.Both accounts are now admin; this (problematic) account was not at first. There is no firewall running, MS or 3rd party. I have added this ftp url to the "trusted sites" in Internet properties. There was a McCaffee app on this account; I removed it 6 boot ups ago.Is this a Certificate issue or a broken firewall issue or a setting issue?

Jan 5, 2013A few of my programs are unable to communicate with their servers now and I can't figure out why as they were find two weeks ago and I haven't made any changes since then. The issue lies with a service/program within Windows as all the programs communicate fine in Safe Mode. Windows Firewall and ICS are both disabled within Services. Malwarebytes (my only AV right now) is disabled also.
I know this is an ongoing and repetitive subject but the numerous searches are all resulting in pointing fingers at an AV program, which I am sure is completely disabled.

Jan 3, 2012Recently had a virus infection and noticed that the windows firewall service is missing. When trying to reset to recommended settings by using control panel received error code 0x80070424. Cannot access other computers or shared files/folders on home network. Saw a previous post dated 12-17 that appears to be the same problem.

Mar 7, 2011Recently, my Vuze, Moyea FLV downloader, and Amazon Unbox (just installed today) are unable to connect to the internet. I can't even complete the Unbox install because I get an error message every time I try to complete the setup. I've gone through my firewall and added allowances, tweaked settings, everything -- I even turned it off to see if the Unbox install would finish properly. It didn't. I still got the error message telling me that it couldn't connect to the internet. Did I break something in my logs? What's happened, here? Trillian and things like that work fine, it's just these certain programs.

Jun 12, 2009I'm having some problems with windows' firewall. Last night I tried to set up a simple ftp server (to share a couple of folders, and access that folder through other computers connected to the network by typing the IP address into a browser/ftp client on the other computer). My problem simply is, that I cannot connect to the ftp. It works fine when I try to access it from my computer (which is the server).
But I can't connect to it through other computers, unless I turn off Windows Firewall. I tried playing around with the Inbound/Outbound rules (disabled/enabled everything), nothing worked. I also have FTP allowed in "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall", and I still haven't managed to get it to work. Can anyone suggest any solutions?
Windows 7 Firewall Won't Allow SSH Or FTP?
Jun 24, 2009I've got an issue that's been driving me crazy. I've installed MobaSSH and the windows firewall absolutely refuses to let it through. I've taken down the firewall and everything works fine, so I know its the firewall. Same problem with a Serv-u FTP server but I'm not as worried about that as I am the SSH server. MobaSSH adds itself as a service, so while it was running I found the process and made sure that it was added to the firewall, I can find nothing else to add to exceptions. I haven't found much in terms of firewalls for Windows 7, so I would prefer to get this to work instead of switching firewalls
