I am homegrouping on my friends internet signal - he has a problem now, all of the sudden he cannot get internet because it says his 'Hardware Radio Key is Off' I tried to fix this by right clicking on the icon and now it says it is on - ? the Intel ? but it says the enableing is not on, and i have tried to make it come on, but no luck. I have recently bought a DVB-T TVRadio tuner (usb stick) The brand is a localized one existing only in Greece (Turbo-X) link translated: Google Translate Anyway, the thing is that although it is fully functional (TV+Radio) with the software it comes with(ViVaTVViVaRadio), when i use it with WMC only the TV works On Music>Radio tab shows "to play FM radio, you must first install a radio tuner"
Useful info: I believe the whole product is an almost exact copy of one of the Kworld's tuner sticks, because the software that comes with the tuner is directly from Kworld Multimedia (with a tiny amount of name editing) and the remote control is identical to Kworld's remote (which is ,by the way, set up for WMC and not for ViVaTV).
since installing win 7 i can no longer listen to radio stations. when i click on the 'listen live now' button the sound just doesn't start. Internet & mp3s etc work ok. device manager says drivers are uptodate.
Why doesn't WMC allow you to record live radio? What's the difference between that and recording live TV? When listening to live radio, the Record button is grayed-out.
one day my laptop just started playing the radio thru it and we cant find were its coming from and we want it gone how do i do that its very annoying and its making our laptop move slow.
My HTPC has 3 TV Tuner cards in it, all of which also have FM tuners.
What I would dearly like to know is can you choose which tuner card 7MC uses for FM broadcasts? Is there a registry hack or similar available to disable the FM tuners on the other two cards so the one I want to use is the only one available to 7MC?
I am looking for a radio tuner card that is windows 7 compatable that can tune or record AM radio bandwidth also if it can detect other bandwidth that would be an added bonus

An local station can be seen on W7 media player, but no sound comes thru. And the mute is not activated. All other internet radio stations can be heard. The radio station in question says it's link is working. The audio and video are working with other applications.
Maybe a long shot on here but my BT Internet radio connected by wireless to BT Homehub2 ceased to function today. It cannot find the network. The radio is Reciva. I cannot get past "network time out". Tried to reset from scratch but it cannot find the network.
Have recently bought a Cobra CIR 1000A internet radio that works fine connecting wirelessly for radio stations. Problem 1 is in the instruction booklet it explains how to setup Media Sharing and PlayMusic on the Internet radio for WMP 11 . No mention of WMP 12 which I have installed. Radio has latest software installed.WMP 12 reports no media devices found. The fact the radio plays stations ok is proof enough that my network sees it all right.I have enabled and disabled everything and am now at a loss to how to fix it.Am thinking of replacing WMP 12 with WMP 11 but am obviously using Windows7
I have installed a driver via Microsoft. but it will not recognise my Bose Music system (with Bluetooth) and will not play audio. It should. What can I do?
