I am trying to get the XM Radio Online plugin to work within Windows Media Center 7. I am following the widely published instructions, but when I click on the plugin it navigates me straight to the SiriusXM site. I do not get a popup to login or start a 7 day trial. I have tried this on multiple machines and I experience the same thing. When I click on "Listen Online" link it wont open up the XM player, it appears popup windows do not function in the browser within WMC.
on my computer there are two accounts- an administrator and a standard account. everything works fine on the admin account, but the standard account is having some video problems. i can view Internet fine, but if i want to watch other streamed videos it won't let me. all i get is a black square where the player is or the black box with an 'x' in the corner. it also sometimes won't let me listen to streamed songs.
i got this windows 7 computer last year and i have had these problems from day one. every site i go to just talks about looking if there are parental controls on your account. i have checked and there are no controls placed on the standard account. there really isn't any difference between the two accounts except that one is called admin and the other is a normal account. i just tried to switch my standard account to an admin one and i still couldn't get the videos to work.
I have a windows 7 64bit laptop and a window vista 64bit laptop.
I seem to be unable to view some of the videos on the windows 7 laptop but able to view those same videos on vista laptop. the error is normally "200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip". Is it a settings problem as both of my laptops are installed with the same version of flash players.
I have tried to uninstall the flash player and re-install the flash player but the error still persist.
I just got a new computer at best buy and geeksquad set it up and stuff. now when I try to view like my bank account online it says "You appear to have cookies turned off". I have went through everything I know of to turn them back on

I'm connecting my laptop with Windows 7 pro x64 to a digital player via lan the computer doesnt ask me what kind of network it is? why? it names it unidentified so i cant share files to it and why are the options from public advanced settings changing exactly like private setting?i want sharing for private and it disabled in public, but if i set it on at private it switches itself on in public also i messed with some registrys but i reverted it to what it was in the start, i think.i changed somethig in services.msc and Local Security Policy editor, i changed it back.my antivirus is security essentials and uac is set to never interrupt
I am using ASIO4ALL with Traktor 3 so that I am able to get 2 channels out of my soundcard. What I mean is that I am using one channel for the speakers and another channel for my headphones.I need the headphones so as to listen to the "Cue" Deck.I have connected my speaker system to my soundcard with one cable. But I had figured out (when I used XP) that I was able to have what I want when the settings were 5.1 speaker system at realtek settings. Now I cannot listen to anything from Traktor 3 when using ASIO4ALL.What can I do?
My sound is acting strange since i've installed Windows 7. (Ex-Vista user). It's making static/crackling sounds when I listen to music, or play games anything that makes sounds is getting disturbed by some kind of interrupting sound that makes crackling sounds..
Things I've tried: 1. I tried switching the cables (bought new ones) 2. I tried different speakers 3. I tried 2 different headphones 4. I tried cleaning my computer (dust) 5. I tried to get rid of any disturbing devices (phones, radios) 6. I tried uninstalling my device (HD audio device) and test it, and reinstall it, and test it again 7. I tried a reset boot (holding button for few seconds) 8. I got rid of my webcam it contained a microphone.
I am homegrouping on my friends internet signal - he has a problem now, all of the sudden he cannot get internet because it says his 'Hardware Radio Key is Off' I tried to fix this by right clicking on the icon and now it says it is on - ? the Intel ? but it says the enableing is not on, and i have tried to make it come on, but no luck. I have tried the Fn key and using the f8 key, toggeling it. What am I doing wrong?
I have recently bought a DVB-T TVRadio tuner (usb stick) The brand is a localized one existing only in Greece (Turbo-X) link translated: Google Translate Anyway, the thing is that although it is fully functional (TV+Radio) with the software it comes with(ViVaTVViVaRadio), when i use it with WMC only the TV works On Music>Radio tab shows "to play FM radio, you must first install a radio tuner"
Useful info: I believe the whole product is an almost exact copy of one of the Kworld's tuner sticks, because the software that comes with the tuner is directly from Kworld Multimedia (with a tiny amount of name editing) and the remote control is identical to Kworld's remote (which is ,by the way, set up for WMC and not for ViVaTV).
Why doesn't WMC allow you to record live radio? What's the difference between that and recording live TV? When listening to live radio, the Record button is grayed-out.
