My HTPC has 3 TV Tuner cards in it, all of which also have FM tuners.
What I would dearly like to know is can you choose which tuner card 7MC uses for FM broadcasts? Is there a registry hack or similar available to disable the FM tuners on the other two cards so the one I want to use is the only one available to 7MC?
I am looking for a radio tuner card that is windows 7 compatable that can tune or record AM radio bandwidth also if it can detect other bandwidth that would be an added bonus

i was wondering witch graphics card is the best bang for the buck, me and my friend were having a dispute of this the gtx 260 has a slower clocks than the ati cards and is 448-bit but the other 2 have higher clocks but less memory, whats the best one?

So my new computer game with a VCO GEFORCE 9800GT 512MB PCIE
The way that computers work in my house, since I work from home and need my computer to work on, whenever it comes time for either my boyfriend or I to get a new computer, I always get the new one and he gets whatever machine I had, which is always better than whatever he currently has. – As such I was going to take this VCO GEFORCE 9800GT 512MB PCIE out of my new computer and put it in his to upgrade the video card in that machine. But when looking at new video cards I have a few questions.
Would I be better off keeping the VCO GEFORCE 9800GT 512MB PCIE in my machine and getting another one to run on another PCIE slot? The games I mainly play are Guild Wars, Second Life and the Sims3, though I do know that Second Life doesn’t support SLi and that’s what I play the most, so I assume running two cards would be useless there. Also I have never heard of VCO before, is that a common brand?
I’m looking for something in the $130-$170 range and was thinking about one of these cards.

I was wondering is there a way for me to find some kind of other use for it or maybe some crazy way to connect a digital reciever to it cause they all have scart connectors and my card has nothing but the antenna in and out.

It seems as much time and money I throw at the RC, Media Center doesnt work in Windows 7. I have not only disabled and/or turned off Norton, AdAware and SpyBot but have completely uninstalled them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled WMC. I have cleaned and optimized the registry. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two computers. One a year old and one brand new. Both are running Windows 7 64 bit and both are running the exact same version of Windows Media Center. On my old computer I have my Windows Media Center TV configured for channel 3 and the cable attached to my internal TV Tuner card. Then, to access different channels I simply use the remote controller that came with my cable company set top box. Never any problems. Now, I am trying for three days to have Windows Media Center set up the TV stations on my new computer.
The device manager is finding the TV Tuner Card that I installed. All the drivers are up to date. I can use WinTV to find and play channels so I know there is signal coming from the cable...the same cable that feeds my old computer...I simply unhooked it and attached it to my new computer. So, it's driving me crazy that each time I try to scan for channels I wait for 10 minutes each time only to get a message at the end saying "no tv stations found" or something like that. What could I possible be doing wrong since everything is the same between the old and the new computer?
