Windows System 32 Drivers USB STOR.SYS Are Not Proper

I just restarted my computer and for some reason it gets stuck on the logo screen. I restarted it a few times and nothing happened, so I ran the Startup Repair tool. Here is the start of the log: Code: Startup Repair diagnosis and repair log.

My computer had a bit of a melt down and now I think it best just to start from scratch. I am going to re-install the O/S on my Toshiba Satellite L500-19x.I use Dropbox quite a bit. Do you know the 'proper' way I should handle the process in regards to Dropbox? Will others lose access to my 'shared' folders when I do this?

I recently isntalled windows 7 professional and I have three sata drives, one is the system drive where windows 7 is installed (C, my primary partition, the other is a storage drive (F and a drive to replace the partition (Z. My boot priority for the moment is the F: drive then the C:. This is because for some reason my C: drive, even though the system is installed on it, will not boot.
I tried several things like copying the hidden system folder in F:Boot to the C drive but that did not work. I recently did a repair install but that did not restore the boot manager. Is there a way to manually set my C: drive as my primary boot drive, without jumping through hoops, I bought the Z drive to replace the F drive and need to be able to boot without it.

Currently this is how I update my ATI drivers when there is an update. Is this still in today's day and age, still necessary?
1) Remove driver using add/remove programs
2) Reboot into safe mode
3) Use driver sweeper to remove left over ATI driver files
4) Reboot into regular mode
5) Install updated driver

I recently purchased a Microsoft Wireless 3000 keyboard new. After plugging in the USB receiver and installing the batteries to the keyboard, it seemed everything was going to work. The noise came on that a USB device had been plugged in and it then installed the proper drivers. When I tried to type or use any function on the keyboard, though, it was unresponsive-the keys don't work.
I then tried the following troubleshooting:
1) unplugged my older keyboard (Logitech Office Pro Keyboard PS/2). Then I tried rebooting with it still I unplugged.
2) Inserted the installation disc that came with the new keyboard. I window popped up saying that the program (intelliType) cannot be opened because it is being blocked for compatibility issues. (that is all it said-no cause stated). Restarted computer and tried it again-same outcome.
3) Downloaded the latest driver from the Microsoft website . I made sure it was the exact format for my computer (Windows 7, 64-bit, Keyboard Version 2.0). Installed it fine. I am able to open the intellitype program and configure the various key functions. No response from keyboard though. Restarted computer-nothing changed.
4) Uninstalled (what I could) the Logitech software SetPoint. From my perusal on the internet, it seems it is a very difficult program to uninstall. I deleted the folders from my c: Drive. It was not listed in 'Programs and Features'
5) Uninstalled the intellitype software, rebooted, and let the OS install the generic drivers for the Microsoft keyboard.
6) I went into the BIOS and noticed that the USB Keyboard function was disabled. I enabled it and the other USB functions (mouse, etc.) options were enabled.
7) Replaced the batteries twice-both brand new. The green light next to the battery symbol on the keyboard comes on for a moment after I install the batteries.
8) Tried different USB ports for the wireless receiver. Each time there is that sound that notifies a USB device has been plugged in. The OS even recognizes that it is a wireless receiver. Rebooted computer.
I even tried rebooting with the old keyboard disconnected but I am forced to plug it back in eventually as I have no other way of typing. The keyboard is recognized in device manager (Microsoft Hardware USB Keyboard, Microsoft USB Dual Receiver Wireless Keyboard (IntelliType Pro), Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Detection Driver). Currently, the IntelliType software is loaded and the SetPoint software uninstalled. Could it be a faulty keyboard?

Trying to play a game and since it's Jap, I had to change the system locale to Japan. After rebooting, because it requires a reboot, I got a BSOD in about a minute. I thought it was okay and wouldn't happen again because it ran out of memory or something. After I reboot, I got another BSOD and now it's saying "Reboot or insert proper boot device.
I went to the BIOS and my HD was the first boot priority. I'm a total noobie when it comes to computers.
I have an ASUS K52F-BBR5 Notebook. Could my HD be corrupted or is there a way to fix this? I'm currently finding my installation disk to see if I can do a startup repair.

My computer was working fine for a year and a half and just had this message,"reboot and select proper boot device". I unplugged every device one at a time (including all external peripheral devices) and tried to reboot unsuccessfully. I checked to make sure everything was properly attached multiple times. Sometimes I'm able to boot with the windows 7 disk....most times not so lucky. I checked my bios boot order and everything seems to be correct after reading posts online. I wonder if the CMOS battery can cause this or if their is some type of diagnosis tool or hardware malfunction causing this. I ran seagate tools to check hard drives..They are all working fine.

I can't install my Windows Ultimate 64 bit edition on my RAID 0 Western Digital 500GB hdd's because on the boot screen my computer keeps telling me to "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device", I've done both those instructions, rebooted, reinserted, all of it, no solution. I made sure my boot priority is the drive first, and raid drives after. Still nothing. But this is the interesting part, last time I fixed this problem by using my previous computers dvd drive to install instead of the blu ray, it installed and everything was right with the world.
But I have since then thrown out the old DVD drive, and now have nothing to install with. So what I did in the past hour was used a freinds DVD drive to install and it did not work. When my System Config, is set to RAID, it calls both my blu ray and his dvd drive, ATAPI CD, when in IDE, it calls my blue ray a blue ray and his dvd drive a dvd drive. I simply want to do a clean(custom) install of my windows 64 bit on my two RAID 0 HDDs, I've checked the boot priority, I've put both hdds in RAID0 and I've also used someone elses dvd dive to try and install.

I am currently thinking about overclocking my new processor. To be quite honest I am a little new to overclocking and just wanted to get a few questions answered before I decide to start.clocking from 4.0 GHz to 5.0 GHz. Is this feasible? My main concern is proper cooling and this is where it gets a little complicated, I do not want anything to do with liquid cooling (to be honest, the thought alone is unsettling). Are there any Air coolers that will fit my case (NZXT lexa s) and cool my processor enough to keep it stable at 5.0 GHz? Also, at idle my processor runs at about 12.7 C (around 55 F).

I just finished a new build, and ready to setup with raid0 and win7 64bit.After reading several posts in several categories, I am unsure of the correct sequence of events. I think it is - boot with windows install disk, enter bios, setup raid0, then do windows install to raid array. I will be adding the 2nd set of ssd's for raid 1 in 3-4 days, and was wondering if there was any benefit to wait on the install, set up both raid 0 and raid 1 before the windows install. The ssd's are all 128 GB, the raid0 on sata III 6 gbs ports, the raid 1 will be on the 3gbs ports.
