Amd Onboard Sound Card Drivers With Windows 7 Operating System?
Nov 30, 2012
how to activate my audio driver..i reformatted my computer in window 7.Before i reformatted it,it was a windows xp. Just now i did not hear sound in my headset.
I fly MS FSX and I want to be able to chat to ATC with my headphones and then hear the engine noises coming out of my speakers and sub-woofer.
I have a sound-card and my motherboard has on-board sound. I can't find the bios setting to turn it on and I can't see any hint of it anywhere on the computer. Can someone help me get the on board sound going? My computer is homebuilt, I recently installed Windows 7 pro 64bit.
i'm using the onboard sound card for my Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0 mobo. The sound chipset is Realtek ALC889. I've updated the latest drivers, but there is crackling/static noise when I play music.Currently I mainly use a 2.1 speaker system. But Ive tried testing it with headphones the static/crackling noises persists. It is not constant, but it shows up periodically. Furthermore, when there is no music/sound playing the noise is not there. This leads me to believe its a hardware/driver issue and not so much a speaker/interference issue.
I have recently reinstalled my operating system. Once formatted, I installed all the drivers, utilities for my motherboard and graphics card.I now have no sound, even though the RealTek audio driver is installed.I have gone into 'device manager' right clicked to check for updates and Windows advise me that my drivers are up to date. There is an 'x' on my audio icon stating "No Speakers or Headphones are plugged in" and i know my speakers are plugged in and working as i tested them on my ipod. My PC is recognising the input jack, as a window pops up.
i bought a new computer, windows 7 os. it was sold with intel integrated video and a better amd videocard. onboot up the machine told me the amd was not activated. use the device manager or update the drivers. i updated the drivers and it reported they were current. HERE is where the noob made the problem worse. i disbled the integrated video in the device manager and now the monitor only displays a black screen.
i've assembled my new pc with Motherboard Asus m5a78l le without onboard videocard and AT RADEON 6870. How can i install Windows 7 and the drivers of my video card if the videocard doesn't send the signal to the monitor? Can i install windows 7 and the drivers on the hard disk with another pc?
i just got a NEW Asus motherboard put it in with a wireless card and video card and every thing was going great untill i listened to what the speakers were doing and turns out there just poping and crackling and all static i tryed the speakers on my ipod and they work fine and worked before my old motherboard broke and i was on windows 7 before to its just all fuzzy and static and if i turn up everything and play a song u can just barely hear it. how do i fix it?
as stated in the subject, I am unable to hear any sound from my speakers since upgrading to the windows 7 64 bit. I followed the other post that I found on this but I still cannot hear any sound.I have a dell inspiron 531. The hardware ids from the device manager areHDAUDIOFUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_1028020E&REV_1000 HDAUDIOFUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_1028020EI have installed the realtek drivers and they as working but I still get nothing but a slight hiss from my speakers. I have tried them on my laptop and they work fine.Does anybody know what might be causing this? I am half tempted to get a new sound card but I am reluctant as it says my existing one is working (it just seems to have forgotten to tell the speakers!) If anybody knows a fix for this I really would be eternally grateful

i was asked by a friend to have a look at his old laptop. It doesnt apper to have any drivers or OS installed at the moment (when you put in the windows 7 cd and asks you to pick a location to install it doesnt have anything there no hard drive detected)is it possible to get the drivers and install them first so i can then go and install windoes 7?
I was trying to completely restore my system using factory discs. I upgraded my ProBook 4525s from 32 to 64 bit. because of all the problems I've been having, I tried putting on the 32 bit version again... well somehow I'm miss a whole lot of stuff. I'm not super computer savy, but figured that i've bdone it in the past, I can do it again. Well the first thing I noticed is that my wireless isn't working. So I go to HP website and try and download some different drivers. Nothing is working and when I try to open and install anything downloaded it doesn't work properly. Went to update my bios and it needs F.0A which I can't download because I don't have a burning software that is compatible. Why I need to burn something to disc when I want to download it directly I don't understand..
I have a Asus m2n-e with windows 7 64bit graphics card is a radion 320, I have tryed to install a creative audigy2 when i go to install the driver's for it, I get a message sound card is not installed .
I have an ASUS P7P55D motherboard that does not show my onboard LAN in device manager. I suspect its dead. I then proceeded to install a PCI type network adapter card in one of the available slots and it was recognized by the OS with drivers installed. I connect the cable which I tested to be working fine on my laptop and it shows the led's working on the card but I still have no network capability. Is it possible to have both the onboard LAN and external NIC not work because of a chip issue, etc.? This is the first I have ever seen both not work. If I need a new board...fine...but I just don't want to waste my money if it can be fixed. BTW, I did check my BIOS and everything is enabled properly.
if there was any way to change my onboard graphics card in my laptop? My laptop is a Acer Aspire 5520, with the default Nvidia Geforce 7000m.I'm usually alright with it, but I'm trying to start playing serious games (Arkham Asylum ), and I get this error "1x32 fb render target issue".
Driver windows 7 x64 opengl for onboard video card. how can i make CS 1.6 work if i don't have a video card...i have a Gigabyte motherboard G31 series.
i need to update my sound card drivers.... i am on windows 7 and went to the biostar website to update my on board audio drivers and there was nothing available for windows 7.... only vista,xp, etc.
