I have a dell computer, window 7. it shuts down by itself when i'm browsing the web or any other thing, it takes very very long to start up and sometime it don't go to the welcome screen, it gets blue screen instead and freeze, it also freezes when i'm browsing. I don't know what to do. the last 2 times i took it to a computer technician to fix it, he delete all my files on my computer completely.
I've just recently had the problem of my pc shutting itself down overnight or when it is left without use throughout the day. When I come back to it I have to hit the power button and then windows gives me the message that it had to shut down unexpectedly. I checked all the power settings and everything is set to never turn off. I recently updated to SP1 and was wondering if this could have anything to do with it since it seems that the problem started around the time of the update.
I have a toshiba lap top with windows 7. Lately after I put it on sleep or hybrinate it shuts down. when I power it up I get a message that it has shut down unexpectedly. I ask for solutions but it comes up with nothing.
My pc shutdown unexpectedly and coming blue screen. The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was : 0x000000d1 (0x7ec1d0b8, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x8c61c031)
My computer randomly shuts down without warning at least once a day. A staticy screen pops up and then it just completely shuts down and restarts itself. Does anyone know what I could possibly do to fix this problem?
My computer unexpectedly shuts down while playing some games. I'll play for about 5 minutes, then I hear a beep and the computer immediately shuts down. I thought that maybe it was because I was putting too much strain on my gpu (nvidia gtx 230), so i tried lowering my settings, but that changed nothing. This only happens for some games, and occasionally, the computer will not shut down. I am using an hp dv7t laptop with a core i7 720 quad core processor and 4 gigs ram..
the events in the event viewer just before event 41 are event ID1: system watchdog timer triggered and the file system filters 'trufos' and 'gzflt' are registered and added to the file system manager(event ID6) event viewer log:
- System - Provider [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power [ Guid] {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4}
EDIT: the problem has returned and the previous solution doesn't work anymore. Uploading new .ZIP file in OP and last reply.
I have been searching the Internet a bit to find a solution to this issue. Mostly this has been linked to specific programs (like iTunes), which I don't have. Someone said it might be BSOD so I did the procedure.
Basically, my laptop doesn't go to Sleep, but instead freezes. This happens when closing the lid, pressing the "power" button or doing manual Sleep from Start menu. The screen goes black, but won't "wake up" anymore - the only way out is a forced shutdown and restart. If the laptop is in this freezed state long enough it will shut itself down automatically. The machine is 2 months old with pre-installed Windows.
My computer seems to be running fine and then it will suddenly shut down or freeze until I am forced to re-boot, does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you fix it,
My PC (ASUS N61JV) is misbehaving. It powered off unexpectedly. When I Switched it back on, only thing i could see was a Blue Screen. I ran all the required tests and am attaching the reports for your convenience. I am using x64 bit version of Windows 7.
I have Dell Inspiron 1545 Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (T6600@ 2.20 GHz ). I have update the OS from W7 32 bit to 64 for for the same 3 GB RAM for high end computing purpose. I have updated all the drivers available to Dell official website through downloading. Now, I am experiencing 1. More PSU Noise ( i.e. ) It runs all the time.2. Slow browsing ( for Chrome as compared to earlier ) 3. And mostimportantly,Unexpected Shut Down of system. i.e. Without any warning.I will request you to suggest what can be done to basically stop the shutdown. Also, I am planning to increase the RAM in the system, can anyone suggest How much RAM can be increased for my system
I was running a dual boot system with XP and Ubuntu in a 64 bit system. Had no problems whatsoever.
Recently installed Windows 7 in same dual boot system and Windows now crashes frequently. No BSOD- just shuts down quietly to a black screen. At first I suspected a heating problem but the system reboots immediately so overheating does not seem to be an issue.
Ubuntu has never crashed so I assume it is a Windows software problem.
I have not been able to identify an event which might cause this problem. I have run scans for malware and viruses using Spybox Search and Destroy as well as other similar programs.
This morning I noticed there was an error in Event Viewer and Reliability History that implied that Windows had shut down unexpectedly. However, there is no evidence of that. Here's the message from Event Viewer...
Log Name: Application Source: Windows Error Reporting Date: 2/5/2013 7:50:56 AM
[Code]....
And on Reliability History, it just said Windows shut down unexpectedly. But like I said, there's no evidence of that.
I just got an Acer laptop. Sometimes, for no reason I understand, the browser will suddenly go back a page. I am using Firefox. I have not had this happen on any other system with Firefox. Is it something with the mouse on the laptop?
windows is closing unexpectedly when ever I'm trying to convert videos using Handbrake and render my work files on Premier Pro. Before I didn't face this kind of problem it's happening after giving my Mother Board for servicing because of some power problem. I tried in all possible ways I know to fix this problem like reinstalling all codecs and programs, I also reinstalled my Windows but there is no change. I'm using Windows 7 Service Pack 1 with latest updates. Except this almost every thing is normal.
I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad running Windows 7 Ultimate x32 to operate an astronomical observatory. This requires running a range of software simultaneously. On several occassions, my computer has gone into sleep mode and will not respond to waking requiring a hard shutdown and reboot. This introduces a host of registry errors and stops any astrophotography. I have looked into Event Viewer and all I get is the following entry:
ok my pc has been getting BSODs quite often and i havent been able to fix it yet.. but today i got a different type of BSOD. im not big in computer tech so i didnt have a clue on what it is and disregarded the numbers..:/ Also i have been getting regular BSODs for about 2-3 months now and i even tried reformatting whicim running free avg antivirus and some people say thats the cause.. but i run the same antivirus on my laptop and it works just fine i have uploaded the file from C:windowsminidumpim running Windows 7 home premium 64bit original (full retail)comp is about 6months oldlatest re-format was about a month
The above is the message I get when I try to send or receive mail. It states Error ID 0x800CCC0F. On googling this it advises restore system to an earlier time, but that has not worked.
Windows Live Mail closes unexpectedly repeatedly without error message and one account disappeared?
I have multiple accounts being used for years on Windows Live Mail - Version 2009 - Build 14.0.8117.0416 on XP Pro SP3
Recently, Windows Live Mail closes unexpectedly repeatedly without error message Then as I kept trying to figure out I noticed one account disappeared? I think that happened later.
I have the ENTIRE WL MAIL Log file.
To track why this was happening I went offline mode and it would not crash. So, I figured it was something to do with the Sync. So I disabled the Auto Sync for every account I had and did manual syncs for one account at a time. Found the account that was causing this.
Its a hotmail account. I signed into Hotmail and all seems ok. I am posting the follow lines from the LOG, when I manually synched that account from WL Mail a few times.
I could try to trace back into the LOGS as to when this drama actually started originally, and post that and / or most of it. Let me know if someone can help dissect Windows Live Mail issues. Found its due to Sync of one account, Error Log info posted.

Last night I downloaded the new Windows 7 from the Microsoft site. Burned it to a disk. I was running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit so I put the disk in picked the upgrade option. it did all the stuff its supposed to then restarted the computer and began to load the new windows... after it was finished or just about to finish it restarted. Now when the computer restarts I have three options to choose from.
My computer has been shutting down unexpectedly for a while. I installed a new power supply, stopped using Internet Explorer, and replaced Vista with Windows 7. The problem seemed to go away. However, recently I've been getting the BSOD and having the computer shut down. Before I go buy a new computer (current one was purchased in 2007), I thought I'd see if anyone here has any suggestions. I went to the Event Manager and found the following errors in the Administrative Files that occurred around the time of the last shut down.
I seem to be dynamically turning on the Clicklock function. It happens often (multiple times a day) when I'm using Sibelius music notation software. It may have happened once in my email client (Thunderbird) but in no other circumstances. I think that rules out the mouse hardware. And I'm almost certain it happened with a different mouse, a different PC, and different operating system (WinXP PS3), but I can't confirm that.Is there a way an application like Sibelius can programmaticallly turn on Clicklock? (The Sibelius support folks don't think it's their problem.)
My computer has been acting up of late. It's been freezing up at random times (even if I am running nothing). Trying to open up Task Manager, I don't see anything that could be using the CPU, but yet it says that i'm running at 100% capacity. MalwareBytes isn't picking up anything. Neither is Avast. Also, when I try to run anything Microsoft Office related I usually end up with a lot of lag. I'm not sure if these two are related, but I just thought I'd mention it.
I have set up Task Scheduler to execute batch programs using a programming language known as SAS. Normally things work properly, the task ends as expected, and a log file is created. Today, the task ended unexpectedly (actually, I know why, I set the task to end after 30 minutes, because the task shouldn't take more than about 2 minutes). The problem is that the log file that is being written by this program is now locked, and I cannot delete it or move it edit it. Other files used in this task have the same problem. If I try to delete it, I get the Windows message that says: "The action can't be completed because the file is open in SAS" (even though SAS is no longer open because the task has ended). This is completely repeatable, this has happened several times now, with identical results.
I am installing Windows 7. I deleted all partitions during the install setup and created a new one for Windows to install on (plus the 100MB partition it created itself). The installation seems to go fine until the "completing installation" phase. The computer reboots and the Windows 7 desktop appears but an error window pops up that says "The system unexpectedly rebooted during the installation. The installation can not be completed." It also tells me to restart the installation (which I've done several times with the same result each time).
I know that the system meets (actually exceeds) the minimum requirements. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or what could be causing this problem?
Has anyone found a fix for these services terminating unexpectedly yet? I have tried the MalwareByte fix & the TDSS RootKit Removal tool by Kaspersky, but neither of these have corrected the problem.
I'm using a 2007 Toshiba Tecra M5 Laptop. I've run the SF Diag Tool, so here are the details. My laptop has thus far crashed 5 times today in a time span of 3 hours, what can I do to make this stop? Any ideas why this happens?
I use both Google Chrome and IE and with each at times tabs simply close--there are NO addons that are for bothI also notice this happening with Word I get no error messagesI have NOT added any 3d party programs when this startedI cannot discover one unique thing that happens to cause this, so I sense the problem must be with my OS
My mouse left button sometime work fine sometime not work. I need to know its a hardware issue or drivers issue. So are there any way to test it? Sometime i have to give more pressure to left click.
Yesterday I updated Windows 7 x86 to SP1 and today found out that all my local virtual hosts has stopped working. First, I checked apache service - it was ok, but I restarted it. Then I tried to ping one of local domain names:
Code: C:Usersevgeny g likov>ping aaa1
Ping request could not find host aaa1. Please check the name and try again. I was thinking, SP1 setup just wiped all additions out of hosts file, but no:
