Has anyone found a fix for these services terminating unexpectedly yet? I have tried the MalwareByte fix & the TDSS RootKit Removal tool by Kaspersky, but neither of these have corrected the problem.

ok my pc has been getting BSODs quite often and i havent been able to fix it yet.. but today i got a different type of BSOD. im not big in computer tech so i didnt have a clue on what it is and disregarded the numbers..:/ Also i have been getting regular BSODs for about 2-3 months now and i even tried reformatting whicim running free avg antivirus and some people say thats the cause.. but i run the same antivirus on my laptop and it works just fine i have uploaded the file from C:windowsminidumpim running Windows 7 home premium 64bit original (full retail)comp is about 6months oldlatest re-format was about a month

View 5 Replies View RelatedBSOD: The session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000, 0x00000000) I'm getting this on a shop system running Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit. The last thing I did was shutdown before going home and I believe it installed an update then shutdown, so I'm suspecting the update caused the problem.
I can't get into the F8 Safe Mode screen to try Last known good configuration so I think I'll try a System Restore from the install DVD. Does that sound like a good approach?
I don't have the specs with me but I think it's a 2.8Ghz Dual core Intel with 4GB RAM and two SATA drives. It's been running fine for about a year.
Occasionally (becoming more frequent) I get the error message saying "A Process or thread crucial to to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated" I have no idea what the cause is.
This is in Windows 7 64 bit, does anyone know what the cause is?
I bought a new computer about 7 months ago and it ran very well. I was extremely happy with it. Especially how quickly it would boot up. I eventually noticed, however, that the start up of my pc was getting extremely slow. I opened the event viewer and noticed that at the time of my computers startup, the superfetch service wouldnt be able to start. It said: The Superfetch service terminated with the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. After doing quite a bit of research, i ran a hdd integrity test through the command prompt, emptied the prefetch cache. and even upgraded and re-installed the operating system. The service superfetch still fails to start. Occasionally, it did however start after i emptied the prefetch cache and my computer instantly, started up very fast. Like new again. But the next time i booted up my pc, it failed to start again. I want the service to be reliable and start every time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running windows x64 pro and in my event logger, I keep seeing the same services being "terminated unexpectedly". All these services terminate at the same time and seems to terminate randomly. Here are the services that terminates:
Windows audio service
DHCP client service
Windows event log service
Homegroup provider service
TCP/IP netbios helper service
Security center service
After a while these services restarts and everything seems normal.I ran a scan with Norton internet security 2010 and no virus were found.

I have high DPCs when the POWER service is running. If I turn it off, the DPCs go back to normal. Why? What is this trying to run that is causing this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf in msconfig, the power service is enabled at bootup, I get sound but every browser crashes with the flash plugin and other problems don't work properly, some don't even launch.
But if I disable the Power service, I get no crashes but the sound is gone and I get a little x in the audio icon.
What can I do? I restored BIOS settings to default and messed around with many things but I can't solve it.

I noticed that when I did this all downloads terminated and left me with incomplete files. Since IE has never behaved this way I was most upset and gave Firefox the boot. What I want to know is whether this can be attributed to a possible memory (RAM) problem. Also, since of late (not all the time). when I boot my PC, and when the Welcome screen appears, a ticking noise comes from in my CPU and the screen just freezes. Can there be a possible connection between the two (memory and the C++ Runtime error).

Now when I start the computer up it says "the user profile service service failed the login, user profile cannot be loaded". The computer starts up in safe mode and won't let me do a system restore because it says it is shut off.When I look at User Profiles in Windows 7, it states that the users profile is as backup and the default profile is the local profile. How can I fix my computer to get my user profile back up and working?

1. What exactly is the function of Link State Power Management in the Power Options Advanced Settings, PCI Express?
2. What are the implications of using the options available:
a) Off.
b) Maximum power savings.
c) Moderate power savings.
d) Which option is the best selection for my Dell laptop.
I use my PC for audio production and I have a few external controller devices that are USB powered, for example a midi keyboard. I recently had to build PC due to a theft....long story short after building the new PC I've noticed that my USB buses have continual power to these external devices after I've powered down the PC. My old windows 7 PC did not do this. Is there a setting I can change to shut off power to the USB buses when I power off the PC? Or is this a hardware issue?

I was running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit so I put the disk in picked the upgrade option. it did all the stuff its supposed to then restarted the computer and began to load the new windows... after it was finished or just about to finish it restarted. Now when the computer restarts I have three options to choose from.

The problem seemed to go away. However, recently I've been getting the BSOD and having the computer shut down. Before I go buy a new computer (current one was purchased in 2007), I thought I'd see if anyone here has any suggestions. View 4 Replies View RelatedI seem to be dynamically turning on the Clicklock function. It happens often (multiple times a day) when I'm using Sibelius music notation software. It may have happened once in my email client (Thunderbird) but in no other circumstances. I think that rules out the mouse hardware. And I'm almost certain it happened with a different mouse, a different PC, and different operating system (WinXP PS3), but I can't confirm that.Is there a way an application like Sibelius can programmaticallly turn on Clicklock? (The Sibelius support folks don't think it's their problem.)
