When Use My Computer / Received VCGFE Is Compressed Press Ctr-alt-delete Message
Jun 15, 2012
When I went to use my computer this morning, I received "VCGFE is compressed press ctr-alt-delete" message. I rebooted the computer, and I'm receiving the same message. I tried to go to safe mode (F8) but that didn't work.
Today i restarted my p.c after updating the windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.. but after i restarted it, suddenly the screen went black and this was displayed: "JLPRF is compressed Press ctrl+alt+delete to restart" i followed the command, and every time i did, the p.c restarted and the same message was displayed... i even check the cables, ram and other connection but every thing was fine.. I tried installing the windows again using the DVD, but no use.. The same message was displayed over and over again every time i restarted the rig.. (I never altered any bios setting)
After switching on computer win7 x32 receive the error RPLUD is compressed. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart After switching on your computer received the error RPLUD is compressed. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart on a black screen with white writing when trying to boot into Windows. Also tried to system restore by inserting win 7 disk but its also not happening.I keep getting the following from all the restore points I try."System Restore did not complete successfully. Your computers system files and settings were no changed.
Details:System Restore failed to extract the file (C:) from the restore point. An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. (0x8000ffff)You can try System Restore again and choose a different restore point. If you continue to see this error, you can try an advanced recovery method. For more information, see What is Recovery?"
Received above cheerio about a week ago ignored it and carried on as I knew my version was indeed genuine have had it for three years. 2 days ago, after normal start up,the screen went blank actually black , and the only thing showing is the above message again ,with the notation " Build 7601 " Unable to get any thing to come up at all except " Task Master " reference which proved to be useless. So made the call to Microsoft in Manila, and was able to convince them that my item was " genuine " however they then left me "in the lurch " saying I need to get in a tech guy, as the MS guy could not guide me out of my black screen situation, tho he gave me several ideas to try and pull up the "Start " button and get back in,So any ideas how I can get myself back to " Square One " ?? let MS know I am not impressed -- they cause the problem , in my opinion.
I installed clean via USB flash this morning, Win 7 Ultimate.
Expanding files was stuck at 0% for a few minutes. So, I unplugged a single USB device and install proceeded. All readers take note of this SF learned 'fix'.
That is when I noticed that my DVD drive was spinning. I had neglected to remove the DVD after copying it to the thumb. I ejected the drive and the install interrupted.
Even though I specifically selected to boot from the thumb (via F8), I was indeed installing from the DVD. I did not recv the standard 'Press Any Key To Boot From CD/DVD'.
I am not willing to perform any tests on this at this time. A new clean install is likely in my near future as I continue to test VMs and other apps. But, I am curious. I will assume that I did not deviate from the process described above. I was neither tired nor stoned. I specifically selected to boot from the thumb.
Did Windows install see the DVD and make a jump from the thumb to the ODD?
I try to install Windows 7 on my system, but when i insert the dvd with the .ISO of windows 7 64-bit into my drive, i select boot from my DVD drive on start up, and the screen goes black, but nothing happens, and it starts my Windows XP.
Oh, and ive also re-burned the .ISO at the lowest speed, multiple times. No luck.
I am trying to complete my order for a program I ordered and when I press the "complete your order" button I get this error message, "Invalid query recorded FROM IP: 98.221.136.43". I disable Norton software and tried again to order and still got this message.
The nice blue background and the text telling me to "press control alt delete to logon" appears just fine. However, as soon as I press control alt delete, the text goes away, I have the nice blue background, and it just sits there. I can move the mouse around, but the "ease of access" icon in the bottom left is unresponsive. That icon is responsive before I press control alt delete
when my netbook was returned from the repair shop, my hard drive is already partitioned into two.it's bothering me so i combined them.i searched for it before doing it, its safe they said, just make sure the other drive is empty.it was a success. but after i turned it on again.. an error appeared. The HP laptop I have was designed for Win XP and someone upgraded it to Win 7 Ultimate before I obtained it. Everything ran fine until recently it started blue screening. The message says "a clock interupt was not received on a second processor". It appears updating the BIOS would work but HP does not offer a BIOS upgrade for Win 7, only for Vista and before. It appears you can use some drivers from XP though I am not sure BIOS would be one of those drivers.
I built myself a computer like today and it was working fine 3 hours ago and I shut off the computer. 3 Hours later, I turn it back on, it goes into the screen that says: "BOOTMGR is missing. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to restart". So I searched up some things and it says to put my Windows 7 installation disc in and repair it. But when I go into the repair mode, it gives me the error "the version of system recovery options is not compatible with the versn of windows you are trying to repair".
Have had this message on my Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop... Cannot not get into the system at all... I have tried the Dell start-up disk, tried the F8 on intial reboot and nothing is working...
I turned my computer on today. When I checked it some time later, I had an error of messages saying lots of files (mostly .dll) could not be found (or something along those lines). Explorer.exe kept crashing, before a constant bombardment of similar messages came up. After a while, clicking ok to all of them, the computer froze. When I tried restarting, I got the message "A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart"

I don't want to delete my messages in OUTBOX - - I want to send them. I just made up a distribution list to send out an email and it won't send it, puts it in OUTBOX
I'm trying to delete a corrupted folder - I was copying a data folder when my computer crashed, and now that folder is corrupted. I am trying to delete the folder (and start over) but it won't let me, it keeps giving me an error message "0x80070570" tells me the file is corrupted and won't let me delete it.
I use Windows 4 Pro. I started with Windows Live Mail, then at the suggestion of Microsoft I went to Windows Live Mail 2011 Essentials, big mistake. When I removed the essentials it took the standard Windows Live Mail with it, lost address book and all. Downloaded the standard.Windows Live mail from Microsoft, re-set all my address book over a couple of weeks.
I sent an email message with a size of 8MB's to an AOL address it was apparently rejected by AOL but I did not get the normal email notification that it was not accepted it just keeps trying to send the message every time I access Windows Live Mail, then when I shut down mail I allways get a message tha I have mail to send yes or no. There are NO draft messages in any of my email addresses, I have four of them. I cannot delete the message within Windows 7 Pro or in the Live Mail program.
I need to replace a W2K computer on a domain with a Windows 7 computer(laptop), but I want to keep the same computer name.I need the ip, username, profile to stay the same. Can I delete the computer from the domain and name the new computer that name I deleted and still keep the users profile on the new machine, as if it was the old one?
I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my computer.I wanted to burn some files on my DVD Writer so I dragged them from my Hard Disk to my DVD Drive. Then I decided not to burn these files so I gave up.Now anytime that I start my Windows a message pops out saying that there are some files waiting to be burned.
All of a sudden using Windows 7, Windows Live mail I click on a message and get "Message can not be found" and I cannot delete it. If it is in a group, the group cannot be deleted.
Every time I access the Internet a window displays in the bottom right of my screen with the message'Navigation to the webpage was cancelled' & I'm unable to close the window.I'm using Windows7.
