View 4 Replies View RelatedIf a user has their Outlook profile set to NOT use Cached Exchange Mode, and attempts to send an email from a mailbox they've been delegated access to, the message ends up "stuck" (for a lack of a better term) in the user's own Outbox and never leaves the Outbox, or moves to the Sent folder. We are running Exchange 2010 SP2 on site, and our clients are connecting to Exchange via Outlook 2010 SP1.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy son has a laptop and desktop, both using WLM. All settings are identical with ISP on both systems. He can send emails on the laptop with no problem, but when he tries to send emails from the desktop, the email doesn't send until he exits the email screen. Then he gets a window that says "You have unsent email in your OUTBOX, do you want to send now?" I don't see this as an error message, but rather it seems its saying that his email is sitting in an outbox somewhere and not being sent UNTIL he exits the email program. He does not have this problem on the laptop, only the desktop. The desktop was purchased about a year ago and only set up within the last 3 months or so. It's not a big issue since he can send email via the laptop, but I can't figure out why he gets this message only on the desktop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently updated from Vista to Win 7 (both 32-bit Home Premium). It was a simple upgrade, not a new install.
I've noticed with Windows 7 that when I go to do a shutdown, while the desktop is shutting down, it grays the screen and says a program is is not shutting down in a timely matter. I never saw that with Vista. It doesn't appear to tell me WHAT program is the issue. Also, it usually clears itself within a second or two, barely giving me time to check anything.
I've seen various WaitToKillApp and HungApp notes about speeding up shutdown. I'm not all that worried about making it shut down fast, but would like to know how I could find out WHICH program it is. If anything, I'd increase the time before it complains so it shuts down cleanly. I think older Windows would list the name of the program in a standard dialog box, but not this full-screen thing.
PS: I'm mixed on Windows 7. I've had to 'undo' alot of things and rely on 3rd party software like ShellFolderFix to get back 'power user' abilities.
I created a subfolder I can't get rid of. I can't delete it, I can't move it, I can't rename it. I keep getting a message saying 'Item Not Found' and telling me the folder I can plainly see is no longer 'located' where I see it is. It says I should verify location and try again and I can't get it to go away.
