View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a video card that used to boot up in windows 7 - but know this computer with a GeForce 9500GT video card boots up with the Vista boot up logo.I found out this was the video card because I have another card with another GeForce video.I took the swapped the video cards, and the indication changed. The original computer booted with the windows start up screen. And the test computer booted up with the vista boot up screen.
I was told by a local computer repair facility this had something to do with video drivers.I tried what the organization suggested and uninstalled all video drivers (I used generic Windows 7 Video Drivers).Then the organization recommended downloading the latest video drivers for the GeForce 9500GT.This video card has 512GBytes of memory. I did this.Then I was told to install the newly downloaded video drivers.I resrted the computer with the Vista login screen with windows 7 operating system,and the vista login screen was displayed.

I just got the "No Audio Device is installed" message for the second time, and my Sound, Video, and Game Controller section on my Device Manager pulled a Houdini on me. I can't remember what i did last time to fix it, but I've tried everything that people have suggested on multiple threads concerning this. It was literally working last night as i was listening to music, today when i turned it on it said i had no audio output installed. I have an HP Pavillion dv9500. I upgraded from Vista Home 32-bit to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, but never had a real problem until now. I tried to find the driver on the HP site, but the driver didn't work. I've even tried to restore my computer to a week ago when i got a system update, but it keeps failing.There is also an exclamation mark on the Coprocessor under Other Devices in the device manager.

View 13 Replies View RelatedSo recently i was having a lot of AMD driver issues and crashes while playing Dota 2 and some other games, Now over the past 3 days i have been getting BSOD crashes as well while playing games. This does not happen immediately in games, it appears to be random.I reset all my BIOS settings just in case it was my overclock, but i had another this afternoon afterwards.
System specs:
-Windows 7 home premium x64 (Full retail)
-About 1 year old computer
-OS install about a year as well
I began seeing a blue screen about 5 months ago when I first got my computer, and after posting here with one BSOD report, I was informed of the fact that Avast Virus scanning software could be the culprit. After uninstalling the software, I no longer received the problem. 5 months later, the issue has come back. I've recently installed Fraps and Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 on my machine. I saw the BSOD appear once again 2 days ago and it seems to appear while streaming video and installing a game. I also see my machine hard-lock while streaming video from time to time, but I think the BSOD does not officially trigger, so hard-locking is the result.

View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently it started to blue-screen whenever I would try to play any games (that I had played before with no problem). I ran BlueScreenView and determined that the problem was in the video card drivers AND a kernel something or other in the OS itself.I ran a repair install of Windows 7. Now when I try to start any game, I get no bluescreen, just a reboot. It does not give me a crash log that I can look at in BlueScreenView so I cannot figure out what the problem is.I have searched around this site for clues and have tried system restore (but it wouldn't let me restore to a date earlier than yesterday which is like two days after the problem first started). I don't think it's overheating because I stuck a big fan next to my computer full-blast and it still restarted on starting a game.
