When i press my left mouse button it should trigger another button on the keyboard, and as long as left mouse button is pressed they key on the keyboard stays pressed (virtually of course).

When using both my mouse and my touch pad the cursor does a left click without a button being pressed approximately every five seconds.
I have downloaded some drivers from dell but this did not solve the problem. The computer originally ran window's vista.
The print options box appears in the upper left side of the screen. I press the print button in the box. What prints out is the print options box over the screen I wanted to print. If I drag the print options box out of the way to the right side of the screen. The print option box doesn't print, I get the screen print I requested.

View 9 Replies View Relatedrecently I've got an issue with my comp, my mouse left button becomes a right click and right button stays the same, I've searched for some solutions but have found nothing so far. I've reformatted my PC twice and the problem still persist, my mouse is Armaggeddon's Alien G9, I've tried it on another PC and it works fine, even after reformatting my PC the mouse left click would cease to work and would Right Click.I've checked in the Control panel to make sure that the primary keys haven't been switched!
P.S: Recently I've been playing World Of Warcraft, and is wondering if AddOns could be the cause, but this have been never heard of as the problem just appeared recently, but I've been playing for a month already, it appeared like 3 days ago?
I'm putting this in Windows 7 because it does this with all browsers. Initially, it did it with Google Chrome, but after I uninstalled it, it started up Firefox when I pressed the control button. I have no idea how it started, I restarted my computer and it still persisted.

I checked in device manager and both are selected to wake the computer and not allow it to power down the devices. They are both PS/2. The only way to wake the computer is by hitting the power button on the case.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Deltaco USB bluetooth adapter that I want to use to connect a wiimote to my computer to play games with.But when I plug the adapter in, the computer acts as if the up arrow-key is being constantly pressed down, making it scroll upwards or flip through options constantly. Nothing short of unplugging the USB-adapter makes it stop.This is terribly annoying. When I was using a evaluation version of Blue Soleil this problem went away when I fiddled with the wiimote.
Now I'm using Toshibas Bluetooth Stack for Windows though, and it wont go away at all. The wiimote works, but I can't do anything on the computer at all due to this.
recently I used a software AVG PC Tuneup and it has never been a problem for me until a couple of days ago when I decided to install it on my DELL. Now, I went to system advisory and did a system scan on recommended settings, I pressed 'fix selected' and my Wifi was disabled, I tried everything. I can't get my wifi to work without plugging in my modem directly ot my pc. I noticed my wifi radio was disabled, so I pressed the F2 button but nothing worked. I am trying to re enable my wifi radio / wireless radio connection button but it won't work.
My program intel my wifi utility tells me my wifi is disabled but I can't enable it.

Sometimes when people log on and start typing it will open up a piece of software, and always the same one and the same 'A' key on the keyboard. It is not a huge problem, you can minimise the program and it wont keep opening up, or you can log off and back on again to cure the problem. I am just curious if anyone has seen this before, or maybe has an idea how we can prevent this. I have search many forums for similar problems people have experienced.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have windows 7 laptop that i have had for only a few months for all the time I have used it when I press ALT+Tab keys there came up with a viewer that I could scroll through open windows by selecting a from miniature images of that window... recently this changed to what I understand to the Windows XP viewer that only displays icons to scroll through when ALT+Tab is pressed... I dont think I downloaded anything harmful to do this but I also don't remember changing any setting to have this happen, how do I chage it back?

->Win 7 Pro
->Boots up shows "press ctrl+alt+del" screen
->Once this is pressed, the prompt for the password does not show (mouse moves not frozen)
->Unable to recover from rescue cd
After toiling with this issue for some time I found that when the computer is shut down properly, the next login does not show the password prompt. If the computer is shut down via a 5 second power-button press, the password prompt appears the next time the computer is turned on after the "start widows normally" dos screen. I had an older image of the os on a harddrive (replaced HD with solid state) that I used to "restore" from. The issue happened again some 6 days later. I can not keep restoring/backing up all the time as it is very time consuming (there is a lot of changing data on this computer and having to back up like this all the time is not a realistic solution).
I have an odd issue, that from my knowledge has only started recently. That is that my left mouse button lags quite a bit. This is most notable when i drag windows, as it would randomly select another window under the one i was dragging. Recently, it hasnt been clicking properly, i would have to hold the button down for a shot while (only a very shot moment, but it is very annoying and noticable) for it to click. I have an A4 Tech x7 lasermouse that has been working perfectly for years, it is only in the last few days that this problem has been occuring. I have ran virus scans and checked mouse settings in control panel without success.

I have multiple programs that utilize a simultaneous pressing of both left and right mouse buttons (not double-click). This command goes unrecognized in my software and is used extensively to go into 3d rotational manipulation. I also have a mouse that has the central scroll-wheel button that will activate this feature, but the dual button press also goes unrecognized from from the mouse. My old XP computer recognized this input just fine. I have already been through mouse properties and found nothing obvious. I have also checked for updated mouse drivers.

Then when moving the mouse cursor, it should act exactly like I'm actually holding down the scroll bar. Then when I let the right mouse button up, it doesn't scroll any more when moving the mouse cursor. If I'm not clear about what I mean - let me know. I've tried some programs already, but only one could work like this: MouseImp Pro Live! But the sad thing is that this only seems to work in Windows, but not in other programs and such.
