View 1 Replies View RelatedMy motherboard is Gigabyte GA-M61VME-S2.
On their site for windows 7 there is only the realtek audio drivers.
However, there are vistra drivers.
I installed windows 7 and the connection to the internet is working(on xp without the chipset drivers there was no internet connection).
Should I try to install the vista drivers or it is unnecessary? Everything is working ok as far as I can tell.
(I did installed the win 7 nvidia drivers for my graphic card)
i installed windows7 on my AMD anthelon and i am using s-series m61pme-s2 gigabyte motherboard. mydisplay driver and sound drivers do not support windows7.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNoticed that Gigabyte has updated their downloads for my mobo EP35-DS3R to include Windows 7 specific items for 32-bit and 64-bit.
If you are running a Gigabyte board, might be useful to see if updated Win 7 downloads are available for you.

View 1 Replies View Relatedproblem I'm having is that the on-board audio will not install regardless of what I do, let windows solve the issue, install the (apparently) compatible driver from the Gigabyte website via it's exe or manually from the same source.
I'm a little short on time at the moment so if any more info is required (system or other) please ask but I'm at a loss as to what to do. Despite oodles of googling If I can't find a solution I will just buy a new soundcard but this is a last resort.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Gigabyte motherboard that has just stopped working.Ive tested the PSU CPU RAM etc and they are all fine and the motherboard hasnt got any life at all for some unknown reason.the board is 11 months old and is being picked up by courier on monday and they said they will give me a refund.so in the mean time ive been looking at new boards as the one i have GA P41-ES3G seems to of been discontinued.y old board ran off DDR2 was Socket 775 Intel Q8400 Processor and its hard to track down boards that will take those components.I have seen one:- GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 775 - GA-G41M-Combo (rev. 1.4)It says Rev 1.4 but the ones ive seen for sale either dont say what rev or say 1.2 or 1.3What are the differences in Rev and would it be a problem if its an older Rev i buy?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have done a clean install of windows 7 pro 64 bit on my Acer Aspire M1201 (motherboard Foxconn RS740M03A1-8EKRS2) and now the mic and external audio do not work. I have searched Foxconn but they do not list an audio driver on the site.
Where can I find a driver for my Acer?
My original mother board was dualcore 945, when it damaged I purchase secondhand mother board, it gave sound drivers only for XP sp2. When I install windows 7 OS these drivers are not suitable to windows 7.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUpgraded the bios from F4 to F5 and no effect. Can't see any devices that I plug into these ports. Never liked the transfer rate on these ports when they were working.Very slow - like a standard USB port.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated the bios to the latest version on a gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3, using @bios application in windows. I have two disks in a RAID1 All was working fine but upon boot i was getting a message about enabling ACHI. Stupidly curiousity got the better of me and I eventually I said Yes. The next time i turned off i couldn't boot to windows. I went into the bios and noticed that the SATA was set to ACHI, but the bios still saw my RAID volume set up and everything appeared Normal, so i changed this setting to RAID.
it still wouldn't boot to windows - giving some message about not having access to the drive. i tried using the windows install disk but that gives error messages about RECENV utility not working, use chkdsk. it does show a drive as a volume D: (not C: interestingly) I have tried running repair and that doesn't work. I have tried chkdsk/r and that didn't help. In fact that degraded the Raid so i had to rebuild it, and now that is running Normal.
I also can't see any of my restores when i use the install disk.
I don't want to do a reformat and start again as there is data on there that is newer than my last backup.
So the options i am considering
1. remove the disks - place one of them in an external usb case and try to extract the data to save it - not sure if this is possible? and then do a clean install or try the below.
2. can i go back to the previous bios version? is that just a case of power off everything and remove the CMOS battery? and power back on?
3. go through with a new install of win 7 but don't format the drive and see if it just corrects any bad files.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy sound is working but "line in" and stuff wont show up in sound. So I have sound but no mic. The driver says its a Microsoft driver. The sigmatel audio drivers I tried using were all distorted when I installed them as in the sound would work and everything would show up in Sound but was messed up. Its obviously the wrong driver so I uninstalled it and put the "Microsoft" one back.

am looking for audio drivers for compaq hp 610...
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe audio jacks that came with the motherboard don't work. I've tried different speakers, restarted my computer etc. It doesn't appear under playback devices. It doesn't seem to appear under device manager either.
Here are some screenshots to illustrate my point:
Device Manager
Playback Devices
Here's the link to my motherboard's page: [URL]
I have a HTPC setup. PC includes an ASUS MB with on-board video and audio, including options for either separated analog 7.1 audio out or HDMI out (among other output options). Current setup routes Audio and Video via HDMI to Pioneer VSX-1020 A/V receiver, and routes video from there to HDTV via another HDMI cable. OS is Win7 Ultimate x64, w/SP1.
Exact model for mb is here: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3
When I play audio files, the receiver can fake the signal into all 5 channels (I don't have a sub, so the .1 is not relevant here), so there's no issue of the receiver not accessing the available speakers.
The main issue is this: When I look into the Sound Control Panel, under Playback Devices, the active/default device is ATI HDMI Output. Also listed are Speakers (not plugged in), Realtek Digital Output and Realtek Digitial Output (Optical). I do not have any analog cables plugged in, nor do I have an S/PDIF (optical/coax) connected. The HDMI works, but only gives me the option of Stereo (2ch). When I go to the Configure screen for the ATI HDMI Output, I see a list of Audio Channels, but that list ONLY contains Stereo.
I Built my computer recently on christmas day. I got all the drivers and my motherboard came with sound drivers however I got the Realtek Drivers for my board since they were not on the disc (Or for some reason did not get installed) But anyways the drivers are all working fine i've had no problems with my computer at all yet however whenever i try to record or transmit on ventrilo (VOIP) with Stereo Mix there is no sound. When i record on audacity with stereo mix nothing is recorded. There is just no sound.
The option is for stereo mix DOES exist and i know for sure that my motherboard has stereo mix. My friend also built a computer around the same time (Christmas break) with most of the same parts. He has my exact motherboard and his is working perfectly fine. The mobo im using is an EVGA X58. To anyone who can help I thank you and i will respond if you need to know any specs.
i need to update my sound card drivers.... i am on windows 7 and went to the biostar website to update my on board audio drivers and there was nothing available for windows 7.... only vista,xp, etc.
