SLI For 8800 GT Drivers
Jun 23, 2009my tower has an EVGA 780i motherboard with 2 8800 GT Graphics cards in SLI. Will the motherboard and sli drivers work on Windows 7 ?

Can't Install GeForce 8800 Drivers On Win7 X64
Oct 29, 2009After upgrading to Win7 x64 i can't install drivers for my GF 8800 GTS.
Windows have installed this for me (drivers themselves are fine, but I want to have control panel):

Oct 24, 2009I've been experiencing problems with my card since yesterday. While I went to class in the morning, I returned within an hour to a monitor that was completely black.
After restarting, my screen is forced at 800x600 and they are Trippe bar lines all around my screen. Since then I've reinstalled Windows 7 multiple times, downloaded new drivers, and updated my bios.
None of which is helping. I'm thinking maybe Windows update downloaded something while I was gone that forced my card to be undetected.
I uninstalled the 8800GT and the drivers thinking maybe a new installation might solve it, but now (the new driver) is saying it doesn't recognize Windows 7 32-bit as actually being Windows 7 32 bit.
Now I'm stuck with it not even detecting a graphics card.
8800 GT Driver Problem
Dec 31, 2009So I have a problem with my 8800 GT when I upgrade to either the ForceWare Drivers or the Drivers from windows update. The issue is if I use anything other than the driver that isn't the one that was first installed, my computer will crash after a few miniutes. My monitor will go black and will say No Input Detected. I've been running Windows 7 for like 3 days straight now but if I install the newer driver I will start to have problems and need to roll back.
I guess it isn't a big deal since I am not having any issues with games or anything using the stock driver. I couldn't find a resolution to this anywhere on the internet so I am wondering if I am the only one with this problem.
Unable To Keep Installed 8800 GTX Driver
Jul 16, 2009I installed Windows 7 64 Bit 6 days ago and Im still trying to find a solution to my nvidia drivers. I have a dell xps 1730 with nvidia's 8800 GTX SLI. I have been reading several forums and posts and Ive done just about everything theyve said to do and still no luck.
Here's the scoop, so I have downloaded 186.03_notebook_win7_64bit_international_whql from the nvidia site and 18172_win7x64 from nvision along with the modded inf file. Have installed both as described on both sites.
Ok, this portion happens with the nvidia site driver. It installs just fine the restart where the issues begin. Once it reboots and begins to load Windows 7 it freezes up the goes back to the bios and on to where it asks to do the starup repair thing or start window normal. So Ill hit start normal, same thing will happen. I choose to fix then I proceed to install all over again. Again, reboot same thing, I choose star normal and this time it goes to the screen where you see the cursor and it says welcome then suddenly crashes.
Now for the nvision site driver. Install is same both ways. Restart, goes thru bios now on this driver it hits the Windows 7 and immediately gives BSOD. So I reboot, again same thing. Once more only this time it goes thru and Im able to get into Windows 7 like nothing. Ok great, well not really. No nvidia panel, so I adjust the resolution go into driver manager to check the status and it says that it not working because it needs a restart, ok so I restart. Again BSOD over and over.
After every attempt I have to fall back to a previous restore point and still have had no luck.
Am I getting the wrong drivers? Is there something Im missing? Could it be just a Windows 7 issue?
Blue Screen EVGA 8800 GS
Nov 13, 2009I had installing Windows 7 64bit on my PC, every time it went to configure mode the PC blue screened. I removed the NVDIA 8800GS video card and completed Installation using On board video (Intel IGP) Now I plug back the Card and see Windows wont boot and results in Blue Screen. I went to safe mode and installed Drivers downloaded from NVDIA site but it didn't help to get rid of this error.
BTW blue screen message says Page_fault in non paged area
WHat should I do here?
Geforce 8800 Graphics Driver
Jul 9, 2009I'm trying to update my geforce 8800 using nvidias latest drivers. My problem is that Windows 7 keeps reverting back to the old drivers. The setup runs smoothly but there is no reboot option and the device manager still show the old driver. I have been searching the web for an answer for quite some time now so if you have any idea please let me know.

Aug 27, 2011I'm running Windows 7 32 bit and I just noticed that all my drivers for the USB controllers, Audio/Sound devices and the Networking internet (Broadcom Netxtreme Drivers) have all died. They indicate that a Code 39 is the problem. I tried to load some of the drivers but it wouldn't allow them to install. I did a last known configuration attempt, no results. Did a system restore and it gave me an error message saying it didn't restore properly. I am trying to get the drivers online, burn them to a disk and load them. I have no internet access on that PC and the USB ports obviously don't work. I can get drivers on this PC online. Some I can't find. I did the uninstall driver, disable, all the usual for this problem. I am stumped. Any recovery attempts produce nil results. Thanks to Microsoft, I have no installation disc to do a new install or a backup image.

There is no option at this point to install other drivers instead.Using DeviceManager, there is an option to 'update drivers', and regardless of the method chosen, even selecting the file for a previously-downloaded set of drivers, Windows7 always comes back with a message of "Windows has determined that the best drivers for your system are already installed". Considering that SCSI drivers are the OLDEST ones out there, and actual SCSI devices are becoming rarer and rarer, how is it that these drivers cannot be replaced with more current and more applicable drivers?

Nov 14, 2009Have one question, When I installed Windows 7 the only drivers I have installed were my video and audio which are not part of the motherboard (not onboard). My computer runs fine but 1 game but more or less I never installed any driver for my motherboard.
Normally you install the motherboards nforce drivers, raid SATA/IDE drivers etc... Do I need to go back to my motherboard vendor and find updates for windows 7 or just leave it they way it is, or should I install the drivers off the motherboard CD I have here? My mobo doesn't have any windows 7 updates btw there all windowsXP based drivers.

Sep 12, 2011On my Lenovo W510 laptop I'm currently using the 14.1.1 PROSET drivers from Intel's website for my Centrino Ultimate 6300 wireless adapter. Lenovo just released new drivers on their web site with 14.02.0000. Going off of numbering the 14.1.1 drivers are obviously latest although I have seen that whatever drivers are made for Lenovo are always a little different (features and such). In this case is it better to go off of the laptop manufacturer's drivers (even though they are a lower number and seemingly older) or the wireless manufacturer's page (Intel).
