On my Lenovo W510 laptop I'm currently using the 14.1.1 PROSET drivers from Intel's website for my Centrino Ultimate 6300 wireless adapter. Lenovo just released new drivers on their web site with 14.02.0000. Going off of numbering the 14.1.1 drivers are obviously latest although I have seen that whatever drivers are made for Lenovo are always a little different (features and such). In this case is it better to go off of the laptop manufacturer's drivers (even though they are a lower number and seemingly older) or the wireless manufacturer's page (Intel).
I recently installed the RC build 7100 (64-bit) onto a Lenovo Z61p laptop. Everything seems to be proceeding normally ... however, there is one thing that I do not understand ...
The Device Manager shows a device that is not recognized. It is a "Mass Storage Controller" and the location is "PCI bus 21, device 0, function 2" and no other meaningful information whatsoever.
Can someone help with any information about this? What is it and what driver should I use to enable it (or not)? Etc.
I had to format and reinstall the win 7 32 bit to my lenovo y410 laptop. sound is not working. sound driver is realtek high definition. but now orking tried in many ways, but failed. How can I find the correct driver.
I have intel 845 GL/GV display card and i cant install its drivers on windows 7 or may not it supporting it so plz give me some idea to install the drivers.
So far I have installed all the drivers here but Im wondering if there are any more drivers I should be installing from this site.
The reason Im asking is because I have tried DriverMax and it reports that some of my drivers are out of date and need updating. I am loathe to use programs such as DriverMax to actually install drivers in case they get them wrong.
But its reporting the following as out of date:
Should I be concerned with this and try and locate the right drivers or just leave them as they are?
My computer has the ancient Intel GMA 900 videocard series. The 32 bit RC1 install includes the driver, and works fine. However when I tried installing 64 bit RC1, there wasn't any driver included and it showed up in device manager as "Standard VGA adapter". I've been looking around but the only 64 bit driver I found for this card only works for XP, and 7 refuses to install it. Any help?
Intel G45 WDDM drivers are highly unstable and give consistant BSODs in media center. This includes the drivers that ship with Windows 7 RC (7100). Any ideas where/when we can get some more stable/better drivers?
I have Intel Motherboard DG965RY and intel has discontinued support for it and there are no drivers for Windows 7. I have tried to install Intel Motherboard drivers that comes with CD and it did not install properly in Windows 7. And because of this System hangs within 5 mins from Windows Logon time. Does Microsoft provide any supporting drivers for this?.
i need VGA/Sound/Ethernet and Chipset Drivers for a motherboard that comes out of some desktop system from HP or Dell. I checked the model with CPU-Z and it says:
I've got a problem when I start my laptop ( medion akoya ) after windows start up, the screen stays black & takes a while to display my desktop. I then get the yellow warning triangle with the following message: Display driver Intel graphics drivers for Windows 7 (R) stopped responding and have successfully recovered. Now this happens 90% of the time & some pics on some forums don't show up for me, just shows as a little square box. Also, When I run a scan, I get this: "";"D:DRIVER4. AudioRealtek_6.0.1. 6083MSHDQFEWin2K_ XPuskb888111xpsp2. exe";"The file is signed with a broken digital signature, issued by: Microsoft Corporation.";"". More than likely all connected, but I'm not very techy when it comes to computers. I've got 3 cd's that came with the lappy: Recovery disc, Microsoft Works 9 & Applications & support disc, I'm afraid if I put any of these in the drive that it will auto run lol. Can somebody please tell me, is it just a matter of using one of these discs to re-install the the above drivers & if so, which disc??
I have a Dell workstation (Precision 670) with a single Xeon Irwindale 3.4 GHz and I installed windows 7 x64. I am ok with all of my devices, some drivers are windows 7, my wireless adaptor is a vista driver that works fine, and the rest are Microsoft generic (chipset etc). I tried to intsall the latest intel inf using -OVERWRITE but it didn't update anything from the E7525 related devices. I know this chipset is old but its the first time that a Windows 7 instalation gives me worst benchmarks compared to XP even with generic chipset drivers.Anyway the thing I would like to ask is if anyone knows in what OS did they stop the support for E7525, so if it is Vista I could try to use the Vista drivers in some way... Intel gives no info, they just have one single file for 5 OS's and 40 chipsets
right direction for the chipset drivers for Intel 945 Express? On the intel site I have found this link but it only appears to be available for the RC version. INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets?
