Downloaded Adobe Digital to load Kobo. Downloads fine, but gives Run error looking for Administrator. When i go into control panel, shows me as administrator. Tried all my passwords, not valid. What am i missing?
View 2 RepliesI've recently switched to Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device) using one Toslink cable instead of all the analog wires going from my PC to my receiver.The digital sound is amazing, CD quality from my PC is great.However, I now also receive the digitized sound of pages being loaded as I surf the web. All sound comes out digitized when loading a new page.Is there a way to stop this from happening while listening to music or course material without gong back to analog?Can I have my digital CD quality and enjoy it too!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Adobe Photoshop (Portable) and installed it. Then I wanted to change the location where it was saved. I tried to move it but it couldn�t be moved so I copied and pasted it into a new location. I know I should uninstall but since I just wanted 1 copy, I deleted one. After that, most of the other Adobe programs were affected. When I opened some, they would say that some files are missing or my license has expired. Some started asking for serial number or to register.When I opened Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 it said Photoshop Elements Help was missing and there were missing icons on the right side. I uninstalled and reinstalled the programs. I downloaded some but they can�t be installed. It always says some files are missing.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAlright, so I recently got Photoshop CS4 using Windows Vista, but I just want to try the Windows & Ultimate so i format may laptop change my OS to Windows 7. Not sure why, but I got the screen to accept or decline the user end license agreement, when I clicked to accept it, it just went away and nothing happened. So I uninstalled it, and tried reinstalling it, now every time I try, it gets right to the end, where it's installing Adobe Bridge CS4 and it comes up with an error saying it had problems installing photoshop CS4 and then asks me if I want to continue with the installation, I click continue, and it finishes, but I get an error message at the end again. When I click more information I get this:

I have been getting this error for a while on anything from Adobe or Apple that I try and install or uninstall. I tried to reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and I got this error when it was trying to uninstall it prior to reinstalling it. I tried to install Adobe Premiere Elements 9 trial and I get the same error just before it completes installation. I have the UAC turned off, and I've tried doing this as Administrator.
I get this error if I try and uninstall an earlier version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (I have the new one installed as well). And I get this error if I try and update Apple ITunes, or QuickTime. I get notices all the time to update but it never works. I do have working versions of all this software on my computer but can't seem to update any of them. I would like to update to the new version of Premiere Elements.
When trying to install Premiere Elements 9 the complete error message reads as: "Error 1326 Error Getting File Security C:programdataPhotoshop ElementscatalogsGetLastError5".
Not sure if this is the right place to post but i really cant figure this out.Im trying to install the above program on 7260 x86 and i keep getting error 1303 and it tells me i dont have the correct permissions (or rather the installer doesnt) on the install folder.Ive used the Take ownership hack as well as setting permissions to allow Everyone full access.Any one got any ideas? Im sure im just missing something but its been bugging me for two days now

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs I posted in the monitors forum, I am having problems with a new LG W2053 TQ monitor. Being used with a new HP Pavillion Elite PC. Great picture, but just can't get any of the OSD or configuration screens to appear.
It has those touch sensitive buttons on the front. Have tried everything, but they never appear on the screen no matter how I press them (quickly, tapped, held for several seconds, etc.)
Other than that, the monitor is great.
Have it hooked up with a DVI-D cable for a digital connection, rather than VGA.
Was wondering if perhaps to get these OSD screens to appear, the monitor needs, and uses somehow, the analog VGA cable for this. So, thought I'd give it a try. Now have both cables in place.
But, I'm reasonably sure that the PC is still using the DVI-D digital cable for its output to the PC. Looked in all (I think all) the monitor related screens in Windows 7 but can't find where it is.
a. Is there an option in Windows 7, somewhere, to tell Windows7 which to use, and to switch the output spigots between VGA and DVI-D going to the monitor ?
b. Or, any thoughts as to why the config OSD screens won't appear would also be most appreciated.
I upgraded a desktop and laptop from Vista Ultimate to Win 7 RC and have the same problem on both. I can't install programs, run msconfig, cmd, regedit, etc, because I receive a digital signature error that is supposedly related to a recent hardware or software change. I can't even edit the properties of the accounts because of this same error.
Interestingly enough on my laptop one account shows a blank programs list when you go to start-all programs, but on the other account they show up. I restored the desktop from my windows home server and will shortly do the same on the laptop if I can't figure out this problem.
I was recently forced by my provider to change from analogue to a digital service. I received two basic analogue to digital converters and have them setup on media center (Windows 7). I have IR blasters going from the back of the USB MC dongle to the front of the 2 digital boxes. Problem: I can browse channels no problem when not recording anything. As soon as I begin recording a channel and change channels, it switches over to the second digital box/tuner but it won't change the channels. Media center seems to think it's changing but the instructions never make it back to the digital box. It's like it's never activating the second IR blaster. I switched some of the hardware around to no avail, same results either way. Both digital boxes are identical and both remotes worth with both boxes.

I bought a used toshiba L455 that has Ubuntu OS so I have downloaded a digital copy of windows 7, burned it to a disc but haven't used it yet because I'm afraid that I might mess something up.. the file is an iso file so when I stick it in the cd drive and use it, will it actually install windows 7? Or should I just buy the actual windows 7 discs? I also have the product key so I can activate it.

Now when I set my "Realtek Digital Output" to default, the bars work as they should and the red light passes through the optical fiber cable. But when it reaches my "receiver" (Logitech Z-5500), it says "No Digital Data". It is as if my receiver can not read the data that gets sent through the cable. This issue occurred on my laptop, When I take the same cable and plug it in to my desktop's SPDIF Out, it works as normal, the receiver plays audio. I have tried 3 receivers with the same outcome. I have also tried to update my audio driver.
