View 3 RepliesRan the W7F diagnostic tool as admin and it wouldn't create anything on my desktop so have attached dump files/cpu-z/RAMMON
Has always BSOD occasionally but has become much more frequent, every 15mins when playing X-COM. Appears to be mostly 101 clock error. The processor was pre-overclocked by the supplier, the overclocking profile only kicks in when cpu is under load. I never changed voltages or anything else in bios.
Ran prime 95 for 3 hrs last night before it crashed but the error was different to what it normally is - that's the oldest dump file in attached.
I got a BSOD about 5 months ago and I replaced one of my memory sticks and everything was fine until now. I've been getting them recently and I noticed its usually while watching a video or playing a game (graphics card problem?). After each bsod I usually get another during startup. Then my laptop runs startup repair and everything is fine for a few hours. I ran the driver verifier and it crashed almost as soon as i loaded a video but didn't create a dmp file for some reason.
Running Windows 7 x64
Upgraded from Vista about 7 months ago
Machine is a HP Pavillion dv7 1450us - a little over 2 years old
Getting the above error.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI encountered this weird bluescreen error crash in sunday morning 19.2 around 8am if i remember & i had only utorrent on and OutpostPro Security Suite 7.1. Utorrent had been on for about 6hrs at least & was uploading most of the time. I have 24mb Adsl connection with crappy 1mb upload. I bought OutpostPro Security Suite about 1,5years ago if i recall and now after crash i finally updated on my laptop from 7.1 to 7.5 and made a clean sweep for machine before plugging Web cable back.I think i added most of the system spec info into my user profile so not sure if i need to put them again in this crash message. Strange that win security center doesn't recognize my Agnitum's OutpostPro Security software as a antivir as it has firewall and antivir. At 1st i got scared that bluescreen crash would be cause of my about 1month old Psu or cause of processor since i guess it's quite dusty and been noisy & been meaning to get it cleaned for a while now. Then after the crash i was browsing ur site using my crappy laptop & found out that it may be cause of malware had something to do with netio.sys crash.Or then just network adapter had too many connections and couldn't handle the packages. I have no idea how to fix that network adapter if it's cause of that & i tried to update it & says that update not necessary. I have Win 7 x64 Home Premium Sp1 & bought it about year ago from Amazon Uk if i recall. Hdd check with Advanced Systemcare 5 showed couple errors after crash, but not anymore today so that was weird. Bluescreen included these for example and i couldn't take a picture from whole screen with my crappy phone so i took many, but all quite blurry and not wide enough.Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x0000000000000014118 2D) "Not sure if this was complete list as didn't get all to pic from right side..possibly.Netio.sys - Address FFFFF880014ce79381 "there could have been some other numbers between 001 & 4c3 but couldn't take a wide enough picture :/
Wishing u have a nice monday & start of new week and that u could help me with this case as i'm all the time thinking what if it happens again at any minute since it came by a surprise while i was browsing and had like 4-6 tabs open and utorrent was uploading "not sure if it was uploading at that moment" & had Outpost running in background so that kind of crash is weird. Sending 2x rar files which r Bsod & perfmon report.
I have a pretty big problem regarding my Explorer, it keeps crashing when I browse through my music or photo's, video's or whatever that basically needs or shows a thumbnail I guess. It's pretty annoying cause it happens over and over again! I've tried a command (sfc) scan and virusscans, as well as i've booted with Clean Boot, Safe-Mode and did a System Restore.[CODE]

View 9 Replies View RelatedI cant run any 32bit exe. I can run sfc /scannow and I can run any virus software. When my computer boots it says that all my startup 32 bit programs have crashed and I cant open anything unless it is 64 bit. Again I cant run virus software unless it is only 64 bit and I cant run sfc /scannow. It stops at 10%. want to do a system restore or factory reset both of which I dont think will fix this anyway and I dont have the windows 7 cd.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis problem started about a month ago with Windows Live Messenger. Since then i had no problems until last week when my game recording program WeGame began to crash when i start it up. Now today one of my favourite games Counter Strike : Source has started having the same problem. When starting Windows Live Messenger i am given the Windows Live Messenger has stopped working.. then it closes. When starting WeGame it usually crashes when i log in, with the same error. When i start Counter Strike : Source it says Hl2.exe has stopped working and needs to close.I have tried running as an administrator, in compatablility mode, restarting computer, reinstalling all 3 programs, using CCleaner and Windows Cleaner, closing other applications, disabling antivirus, scanning for viruses and many other things.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have Toshiba Satellite laptop and it was very sluggish lately so I restored it to factory defaults. After restoration, I updated OS (Windows 7 Home Premium) and then installed programs I needed. But I am noticing that many of these programs, like Skype, Winamp, Teracopy etc. crash either at start or during the process. All these programs worked flawlessly before restoration.
View 12 Replies View Relatedi have owned asus gaming tier pc for 2-3 months, and this problem came up. I do not know what to do. Do i need to post some information? And some times during the crash, pc losts connection to internet. It's getting really annoying, since i'm tf2 Trader.
EDIT: Now it's doing it constantly, and after some time, mouse and keyboard wont respond.also, when the crash starts, it sounds like usb being plugged in.
example: Playing Diablo III while talking with friends on mumble. The game suddenly freezes and I wait to see if it shoud come back, and it never does.So I press Ctrl-Alt-Del to close the program, and the status says "Not responding" I close the program and wait like 5-10 sec until I can see it's closed in "task manager" and i try to start the program again. This happens, the cursor shows that it's "thinking" for like 2-3 sec, then nothing happens. Same problem occurs with Skype, these are the programs im 100% sure to crash everytime.I've tried to open them all as administrator.Tried compatible modessystem recoveryStart up Repair (windows 7 feature I believe)
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't get sound from any of the web pages I've visited. I tried to install a codec package, and it won't allow me. I am the sole user of the computer, I'm running W7 64bit with a X-Fi soundcard. All other sound works fine and it is hooked up via spdif optical link to a seperate surround sound system.
Therefore, My first question, How do I get the sound to work?
2nd question, even if is or isn't the codec issue, why won't windows update the registry with the codec installation package (1402 error). I am the administrator!
I read through a few threads with similar topics but the issues were either not quite the same and/or resolved comparatively easily. I am trying to repair a 1.5 year-old HP Pavilion running Windows 7 Home Premium 64. This machine is used as the main office computer in a small doctor's office. In spite of my warnings, anti-virus software was not installed until it was too lateThere was a major issue about seven months ago that required another company to repairThe problem is explorer.exe will not run. Double-clicking a shortcut on the desktop, clicking the text name of a program from the Start menu, and even in the cmd results in the same response, a dialog box pops up stating windows explorer has stopped working.
windows is checking for a solution to the problem. followed by another box stating windows explorer is restarting. But the requested application never starts. I have run the Ultimate Boot CD 4 Win, replaced the hard drive and cloned all data, run numerous registry scans, malware scans and antivirus scans. Initially removing over 1500 virus/malware hits and over 1400 registry errors. But the main problem persists, explorer.exe won't open programs.
I use Firefox and i have Xmarks sync and Firefox Sync. I want keep my enter month web browsing history. So how do i do it? But I use Ccleaner for clean my PC. If Ccleaner delete my browsing history are there any way to import it again using Xmarks or Firefox Sync? Currently i can only view my current season history.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter running first XP and than Vista on my rig I ghosted the Vista (x64) install yesterday and formatted for Win 7 (RC). All installed just fine and appears stable as long as I do nothing. I haven't installed any supplier drivers, but run from Win 7 integrated drivers only. I went on with updating through Win Update with everything there was and then went on to the typical utility stuff (i.e. Flash, Acrobat Reader etc.).
My issue is that on SOME web pages my computer now go straight to blue screen of death memory dumping. An example of such a page is Nvidia's (nvidia.com), which will send me straight to BSOD as soon as the name is resolved and I have a title. ^^
I tried restoring to a system restore point prior to all 3rd party installs (such as Flash), but I have no different behavior. I am about to try a clean install to see if it persists, but I am curious as to if anyone else has seen or heard of this tiny issue before and has any interesting theories on it?
And to clarify; no Asus drivers were installed and no the BIOS is not updated, but on the other hand - if it was BIOS incompatability I would kinda expect some generela stability issues, not connected to sepcific home pages.
Any ideas? Aliens in my RAM? Microsoft censoring the internet? Computer come alive and has a taste of its own?
i am using windows 7 and after a moth later my internet connection is getting too slow i cant load a single page . some times it will take five six minutes to load one page . and some times page cannot load . but if i restart my PC it will OK some times but within 20 minutes again same thing is happening ...
View 14 Replies View RelatedRecently, my computer has started freezing while I'm browsing the web. No BSOD or resetting, it just freezes and I have to hold the power button to get it back.I don't think it's over heating, or memory or any of that because I can happily play games hour hours with no issues.I can watch films,or streaming media for hours and it's fine. It only crashes while surfing or talking on Steam.
MSI P67C45 (still haven't got my B3 replacement :O)

View 7 Replies View RelatedWe have a 20Mb line with a 2Mb upload. When checking speed testing sites, we're always getting full speeds. When downloading using Steam or uTorrent (Anything that manages its own downloads) I can get 2.4 - 2.5MB/s download. But when I'm using any form of web browser, firefox, IE ect. Loading pages can take 10-20 seconds, pictures 30seconds-2minutes. Downloads are much much slower, around 500KB/s and while videos usually load fast enough they sometimes drop their connection and stop buffering.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I use IE9 to browse the internet it sometimes is very slow. I have run an internet speed test program [URL] which hangs when testing IE9. I then started Chrome and the internet browsing was fast. I ran the speed test program and the speed was what I expected. I switched between IE9 and Chrome to access certain web pages and perform the speed test and in EVERY case browsing with IE9 was unbelievable slow while Chrome was very fast. I cleared the browser history file, check the register for errors. Even as I write this problem on Chrome the IE9 is still trying to access this forum.
