Peach-tree Accounting On Windows 7?

Jan 13, 2012

My battery went dead while I was using Peachtree Accounting. Now when I try to run Peachtree, it won't let me open the program, because it thinks I am already using it. I have uninstalled the program, and re-installed it, but it still thinks I am running the program.

I bought a copy of windows 7 professional because it has an XP Emulation mode but if this accounting software won't work in either case, I'd hate to even open the package and blow $200

Bad Scroll On Folder Tree Pane (in Windows Explorer)

Jan 18, 2011

When I open a folder using the tree in the left pane the position of the selected folder change. It's like the layout of the tree pane is not working fine. Maybe they autoscroll in order to display all the child's folders but I don't like this. When the folder i want to open is in the middle of the pane (vertically) it moves often to the bottom and i can't even see the child's folder, and some time it move the opened folder to the top of the pane

I just would like to have the thing working as it's in XP. When we open a folder, this one don't move and the children appears under this one.

Windows 7 Folder Tree Expansion Causing Explorer To Jump Down

Aug 22, 2010

I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and have discovered an annoyance with Windows Explorer. When I expand a folder's contents (tree) by clicking on the arrow icon, the entire contents of the left panel jump to the bottom of the visible screen (rather than just the subfolders expanding). The annoyance is that every time I expand a tree in the Explorer, I also have to scroll the contents of the left panel back up (because it jumped down). For example, in Vista, if I expanded a folder tree, only the sub folders would expand and move downward.

Hide All Of A Certain File Type In A Folder Tree?

Apr 30, 2010

I have a media library with, surprisingly enough, media in it! Videos to be exact. Each of the sub-folders have in them videos as well as .nfo files for displaying data awesomeness in the likes of XBMC. However, I do not like the way it makes my folders look when I browse to them in explorer.

Is there a way to hide all my *.nfo files only in the Video folder and subfolders?

Is there anything that I can do about it without repeating the manual command prompt all the time as suggested in Hide all of a certain file type in a folder tree?

How To Rename Folder In WinExplorer Left Tree View By Slow Double Click

Sep 26, 2010

In former WinXP I could slowly (!) double click on a folder name on the left side of WinExplorer in the tree view. The folder name could then be renamed. In new Windows 7 the slow double click trick does not work any more. Ok, I could select "rename" from the context menu. However I prefer the slow double click way. Is there a way to enable this feature in Windows 7 as well?

Migrate Windows.old After Changing From Windows 7 Ultimate To Windows 7 Home?

So I have now installed Home edition and have the Windows.old folder present. I basically need to put all the programs and file/folders etc into the new OS.
