Driver For LG 60PG70FR Plasma TV?
Sep 1, 2011I'm trying to connect my Core i7 DH67BLB PC to my LG 60PG70FR plasma tv. While I was installing Windows Ultimate x64 I did it using the HDMI1/DIV option on the TV but the moment I installed the graphic drivers for the motherboard I stoped getting the image on HDMI and can get it only on RGB/PC mode. I have tried chaning the resolution from 800x600 to the highest 2560x1600 to no effect. I also tried to reformat the pc hard drive and reinstall windows but the same thing happened. The HDMI mode only received images till I installed the graphics drivers

Aug 29, 2009I'm thinking about building a new main PC and hooking my current one up to my receiver and plasma tv (50" Pioneer Kuro 720p). If I put a BluRay player in the new PC, will I be able to display it on the tv over the network or does the BluRay player need to be in the HTPC? My current machine's mobo is IDE, not SATA, so I assume that would limit my options on a BD drive.

Sep 10, 2012I have a Acer aspire 5536 laptop with ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card which i connect to my Pansonic TX-L37G20B LCD Tv via the HDMI output on a regular basis to watch films etc. I have had no problems with the connection since the day i bought the TV and have been happlily using it for the last 2 years.
A couple of days ago i connected the laptop to TV as usual and changed to the correct HDMI channel and got nothing. I disconnecetd the lead and reconnected but still no picture or sound on the TV. I tested the HDMI cable and Tv input by connecting the lead to my XBOX and it worked perfectly.
When i connect the lead to the laptop the screen goes blank for a second and i hear the connection sound as normal however no picture on the TV.
I have checked the display settings and the TV is listed under monitors. I have tried all settings eg extend display, duplicate etc.. and it appears to work correctly but i cannot get a picture or sound on the TV. I did think maybe this problem was due to a recent windows update so i have run a system restore to a previous time when this worked, but no joy. I have also unistalled the old graphics card drivers and installed the new ones from the AMD web site and again nothing.

It displays the progress bar OK and you can can even display the active thumbnail when you left click progress tracker,but just black full screen,i have all latest drivers for sound and graphics.I have reloaded direct x and codec drivers ,tried retuning ,tried resetting monitor,all to no avail.My system OS is w7 x64 ,CPU 6600 O/C 2.4 GHz, GPU NV GTX460.4MB Ram.

Apr 23, 2012I have a Dell XPS 8300. I just threw a Hitachi Deckstar 4TB drive in. It shows as 4TB in the BIOS. But in the disk management tool, it's only showing up as 1.7! I have 24X3TB (yes, 72TB) of drives attached via USB3, and they're showing just fine, so it's not the 2TB limit.

Jan 22, 2010OK, I have an ASUS P5k Pro with the latest BIOS installed with Window 7 Pro 64 BIT. I just bought 2 SATA 1T Hitachi drives (HDS7210CLA332). All sata drives are set o IDE in the BIOS.
At first I added the two drives to my existing Windows 7 installation and all seemed fine, but I did notice that it installed some sort of driver, but couldn't figure out what it was. The drives were recognized after I did a reboot. (The same thing happen in XP SP3 as well.)
I decided to install windows 7 on one of the new drives (after all it was newer and faster), I partition the harddrive to about 500 megs, formatted the partition using window 7 setup (booting up from the DVD), the OS installed, I then let Window 7 do the updates, was forced to reboot, I then get an error that it couldn't find a bootable drive on boot up.
So I reran windows setup tried recover to fix the drive, same error, so went to reinstall window 7 again, this time it told me it could not install the drive on the partion.
So, rebooted back with my original Win7 installation and all was fine with the drives as extra drives in my system.
Anyone have any ideas?

Sep 25, 2011I was importing Pix from my Kodak Easy Share camera. After doing that, I unplugged my USB plug, but inadvertently unplugged my Ext HD USb plug(formerly Drive F). I then removed the USB for the camera and then plugged in the HD USB plug.
My computer now showed my Camera as an external device. I uninstalled it. I turned off the computer, but still I can't access the F drive. Finding the device via Ctrl Panel doesn't help either.

Jul 8, 2011I just recently bought a new system and while installing Windows 7 Ultimate x64, I noticed that the hard drive was only using 2tb's of space. After some checking I found out the window's will only be able to use 2tb's unless I use the Hitachi's disk management tool to open the additional 1tb. Now the problem I am having is that the tool notes I need to convert the drive from MBR Disk to GPT Disk.
I was found several ways of doing this but none give me any information on how to do this if the drive itself is the primary boot drive for the PC. Unfortunately I don't have another hard drive or PC to throw the new one in just for the time being (I am assuming that this is one way to resolve this).Basically it doesn't let me convert the hard drive to GPT unless it is empty (again, I am assuming the OS needs to be gone as well).

I re installed windows on desktop but using ISO on flash drive BUT can't on the 500GB Hitachi HTS545050B9SA00 for some reason. Windows setup loaded and Deleted old partitions and formatted. When I tried to install, it froze. It now just boots up with a windows loading screen and I'm also unable to boot from flash drive as it freezes. This is on a Sony Vaio VPCEB4E4E.

When I first put in my Mini TV DVB-T USB stick, Windows 7 found drivers for it and WMC recognised it and gave me instant TV to watch. However, just this last 2 days it all went sour. I still have the channels listed but on each one I get sound and just a black screen. No idea what changed, perhaps a Windows update as you get heaps of these when running a new system. In XP, I could choose which pictures to import, and give them names, and XP would number them for me, for instance import into C:Pictures2009, and the pictures would be named 2009 001.jpg and so on.
Now I dont understand how to do it, and if I have imported some pictures, I'm not allowed to do it again. WHAT???
Why should Windows 7 decide if I can import my pictures again, what if I delete a picture by mistake?
