I have a Dynex Wireless 11G Desktop Card Model: Dx-WGDTC and I cannot seem to find the right drivers to get this card to work. Windows find's the card but will not automatically install it with a generic driver. I am running 64bit home premium.
View 3 RepliesMy computer is unable access my router. The power went out for a second and clearly that did something. I have an HP p7-1174 desk top, running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The processor is an AMD A8-3800.
There are now several devices in the manager with yellow exclamation points, all relegated to the LAN. I get a Code 31, unable to load drivers message. I ran the sfc scan and there were no integrity violations. I tried updating drivers without any luck. My router is working fine because my laptop and iPad both work online.
The problem seems to be that Windows can't load the drivers for my 802.11n wireless LAN card. I tried updating drivers but it said the driver was up to date. I tried changing manually but the only two listed were the same and when I clicked one, it said Windows was unable to load.
Does anyone know if thare is a Dynex wirless g driver that works with build 7000 64 bit? The driver on the disk says it doesen't work with 64 bit and the one I downloaded from the link below installs but nothing happens when I try to run it and it says it is running in the processes tab in task manager though.
I've tried installing it in compatiblity mode and runing it in compatability mode with no luck.

I have a Dynex wgdtc pci card and im wondering if its compatible with windows 7. I tried installing the software for the card in windows 7 (vmware) in Linux and it didn't work. That may be a vmware problem but I'm not sure. Also can you check my computer specs and tell me if I can use windows 7?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having networking issues with Windows 7 Pro. I did a clean install on Saturday from Windows XP and started having issues staying/getting connected to the internet with my motherboard's (ASUS A8NVM-CSM) on board Nvidia nForce networking controller. After seeing that others were having the same problem, I bought a new card, Dynex Gigabit PCI Card which installed perfectly and disabled the other one. Now I'm running into issues of my connection dropping sometimes every 5, 10, 20 minutes and the only way to get it back instantly is to do ipconfig /renew.
When I do the troubleshooter, it tells me there's something wrong with the connectivity of my modem or router, which is impossible. I say this because I live with roommates who are all using different operating systems (Vista, XP, Mac OS X Leopard) and they haven't had connection problems either. There are two routers in the house, a Netgear and a Cisco, and I haven't a problems with either of those when I was on XP, and my roommates aren't having issues with it either.
Any ideas or settings I might be able to change on this card? I've tried drivers and changing cables out, making sure Windows doesn't turn off the network card to save power...etc. Let me know if you need more information.
I installed Build 7057, and my Dynex Enhanced Wireless-G USB Adapter (DX-EBUSB) won't work. The problem started with the device just ceasing to work after 5-10 minutes of use. I uninstalled and "reinstalled" the drivers, and there's still no luck.
The device can detect my Router, but it won't connect to it. I get the "limited access" popup. Something else to note is that during the driver installation, it gives a "Please plug in the device to a USB port" message, although it won't recognize the plugged-in device. Weird, eh?
This is weird, since I was able to DL the 64-bit driver for Vista/Windows 7 Build 7000, and it would work.
I've just built a new machine running Windows 7 pro SP1 64bit, the mother board is an ASrock N68-S with an Athlon 64X2 dual core 5200+ 2.71 Ghz with 2 gig.I seem to be having problems with the TP-Link TL-WN350GD, I've installed the software but the the troubleshooter is showing "the local area connection" is not working properley and there may be a problem with the driver for the wireless network connection adapter, both items show detected, but the icon on the bottom of the screen has a red cross through it.

I have tried going to atheros.cz among other sites looking for a working driver, but Windows 7 always says the driver is up to date. Strangely, I tooled around a few weeks ago and it was working, but it stopped. I went back and made sure I didn't install anything that day and nothing was installed.

Windows detects that there is a problem between my computer, the router, and the Internet. There are five other devices in my house that are able to connect flawlessly. View 4 Replies View RelatedOkay so i have an older Wireless PCI Card from like 5 years ago, I didnt have an antenna for it so i didnt use it, I recently came across the antenna and put the card in my PC, The "Ethernet Controller" says it doesnt have the drivers, and windows wont find it on its own. So i have gone to the website and downloaded the driver and software, it all tells me there are several missing .dll files.

I was searching for some updates for my intel WiFi link 1000BGN on this site : Intel Driver Update Utility.i saw that there was a driver 14.3.1.1.so i updated it.I download it and executed it, there was a little sign of the wireless.Then the wireless card restarted itself. However, when i go to the driver details after the installation, the driver is still the old one.

I have a "SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash" 4GB card and an internal card reader (HP desktop). When I insert the card into the reader, the green light above the slot turns on as if it recognizes the device, but it doesn't show up. Device Manager says that the driver is installed and working properly, and I have uninstalled it,reinstalled it, and restarted my computer. A system restore isn't really an option because it isn't my computer.

USB 3.0 card do not want to work (system do not find it - no USB 3.0 controller). Other PC Ie cards (modem ...) work with this adapter and USB 3.0 card works in other notebooks with PC Ie bus (without adapter). Also, in the activity there are Bytes sent and received, but I cannot connect to any webpage either with Chrome of Firefox I'm using McAfee Security Center. I tried turning off the firewall, but it still doesn't work.

So far I've: Flashed an updated bios version, Run Memtest86+, and have been systematically uninstalling hardware. I think i've found the though, and it's the Linksys Wireless-G PCI adapter (WMP54G).
Once i removed this piece of hardware, the issue vanished. I looked online for some information and i found that the Ralink chipset Linksys uses has driver issues with 64bit windows 7 at 4gb+ ram.
So, what i basically want to know is, is there a good pci wireless adapter for 64bit windows that won't suck?
And no, i can't use an Ethernet cable, I split the Internet with my neighbors (apartment) and i'm the one w/o the router.
I recently installed Windows 7, and most seemed to be fine. However, I just moved to college for the semester and I usually use wireless at school. I have a wireless card/adapter and it used to work fine on XP, but Windows 7 doesn't seem to recognize it at all. I checked device manager and the only network adapter is 'NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller'. Under 'Other devices' is 'Network Controller' with a little '!' next to it. This may be the wireless card, but I don't know how to make it work.I really need to get this wireless working, otherwise I could be screwed. I never removed the card so it should be in there. Not sure why windows 7 is not recognizing it (in fact, I used to get annoyed when the 'Wireless network detected' bubble popped up on XP. Now I want nothing more!)

My device manager does not detect that card and I installed the driver on the CD that came with the network card. Only a wired connection with an X mark shows on my task bar.
