View 4 Replies View RelatedI got an acer travelmate 6465WLMi running 64-bit Windows 7 and after some digging around I managed to get the smartcard and 4 in 1 cardreader to work with drivers from a different travelmate. Only problem I have now is that I can't find any 64-bit drivers for the fingerprint sensor. When I went to check the first time device manager showed it as an SMSC fingerprint sensor but checking their site didn't assist at all, any working driver? View 4 Replies View RelatedMy computer is unable access my router. The power went out for a second and clearly that did something. I have an HP p7-1174 desk top, running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The processor is an AMD A8-3800.
There are now several devices in the manager with yellow exclamation points, all relegated to the LAN. I get a Code 31, unable to load drivers message. I ran the sfc scan and there were no integrity violations. I tried updating drivers without any luck. My router is working fine because my laptop and iPad both work online.
The problem seems to be that Windows can't load the drivers for my 802.11n wireless LAN card. I tried updating drivers but it said the driver was up to date. I tried changing manually but the only two listed were the same and when I clicked one, it said Windows was unable to load.
thinking of putting windows 7 64bit onto my laptop, it needs formatting anyway but would it run Windows 7 ok?

It seems that when i want to paste a file to my usb, it says "the disk is write protected". but when I used the USB to another computer, i can paste files. . . I don't know why such thing happens, is it because I have to adjust a setting or something in my system that will allow me to copy files from my laptop to my usb?

I recentlry installed windows 7 professional 32 bit on a travelmate5720 acer and when i 'm trying for example to install adobe flash player BSOD appears and you know the rest.My question is should I keep windows 7 and try to find the correct drivers, if there are any, or should I reinstall windows xp which were working fluently. (Graphic chipset is Intel 915GM Express). and wherever I check, I couldn't find anything useful. As I understand there is no driver for Windows 7 out there that would suppose Aero. For now it is working on it's generic driver. So I was thinking that meybey there is a way to tweak it somehow.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi got in a trade my Laptop which is a Toshiba Satellite L650D-038 ( Not Sure about the -038 ) and i got it with Windows Vista 64Bit and erreased it for installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit what worked all very well but when the windows installation finished i noticed that the driver for the graphic card was not installed and also the wireless and ethernet driver was not installed so i checked in different forums and find out that the drivers doesnt come with windows 7 for this Laptop so i got the respective drivers all from the respective publishers and install them. The glitch or Wobbles happens all the time in games in browsers at Word and also here by making this question in the forum, it stops or freezes like 2-6 seconds and then goes on like nothing and then like 1-2 min later it comes again or also earlier. I installed already the drivers from the publishers and also the ones from Windows Update but noon helped me really.

I have had this problem not being able to turn on the wireless radio for months. I have to get it turned on now. When I press <fn> F5 I can see the wireless radio is off. I see the power on button. When I select the power on button nothing happens. I expect the wireless radio to power on.I have tried fixing the winsock. So whenever I boot my laptop the boot screen goes from black to white from the outside so I have to hold down the power button and wait for it to cool down.
