Microsoft .NET 4 Wont Install

I was recently helped out by gringo_pr for a virus and now I am back for more help. Today was the first day I tried to run a program that involved .NET, which failed to run. The .NET repair did not work nor did uninstalling .NET 4 and reinstalling. Through my searching for solutions on the internet I found that I should uninstall all .NET versions and reinstall them and I used microsoft fix it tools to do so following the instructions step by step, besides reinstalling .NET 1.0, 1.1. and 3.5 since I don't think they are used on windows 7. Now windows updater and the .NET stand-alone installer fail to install .NET 4. I have tried microsoft fix it tools to try and fix the windows installer but that doesnt seem to work either. And now i am stuck.

I have just bought an Acer V3-531 and Microsoft keep trying to install updates but the computer automatically switches off before all 3 updates are installed. We are therefore in a loop of msoft trying to install updates and the computer swiching off before they are all loaded. Can I make the machine stay on longer before switching off?

I loaded the logitech 32-bit driver in VXP and it installed just fine but when it scanned for joysticks it sees nothing. The Device Manager says the driver can't be loaded (Code 39).
Anyway back on the Win7 side, the Joystick works fine except for Fury 3, which I also can't get to install so I copyed the CD to the disk and found Fury3.exe and fired it up to see what would happen and it runs, just does not see the joystick, keyboard controls work fine.

I tried to install Microsoft Office but I had no succes, halfway I get an error 1317 and the path to install is denied. That path is programdata > microsoft > windows Seems these folders are locked or something? I've already tried icacls and make myself owner but i had no succes. What else can be the problem? Disk looks locked?

I am trying to install some software. The installation goes smoothly until the last minute, when the installer tries to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable". This also works, but at the last minute it hangs with one second left to go, thus preventing me from installing the software at all. An error then pops up, saying: "Error 1935. my computer caught a virus and I've had to reboot my computer. When I finally got it fixed today, I've been trying to re-install some programs to my computer. My Acer came with a Microsoft product key code, so I thought that meant I owned the software for Office 2010, and that I could put this code in today and it would load the program back on the computer. When I opened the activation wizard, it wouldn't accept my product key like the last time. Do I need to purchase Microsoft again, or can I still use this code and how.

how do I get favorites listed in the toolbar? I used to have the word favorites and all I had to do was click on it to add to it Now,there is just the star for favorites and clicking just has a drop down menu and does not have a way to add something to favoriotes.

A security vulnerability exists in Microsoft Works 9 that could allow arbitrary code to run when a maliciously modified file is opened. This update resolves that vulnerability. I get error code 646. All other updates are installing successfully - have also run the Windows Update "fixit" which is the only available way from MS but makes no difference. I don't routinely open any files unless I am sure of their provenance so I'm not overly concerned - it's just annoying to have constant update failures on this one. Not even sure I have Works 9 ...although obviously it thinks I do ....

I am having a problem lately with my computer. When I want to install a software that is big in size it slows down my computer and the installer won't start. I can install software like VLC, Google Chrome etc. that are little in size, but I can't install for example Microsoft Office. I managed to install a game, but the installer started in 3 minutes and meanwhile the computer was very slow. After the installer started the computer returned to normal speed. It can't be a virus I just recently reinstalled Windows.

Best Buy lost my copy of MS Office 2003 professional Edition 2 years ago. They gave me MS Office Professional 2007 Upgrade and installed it for on my computer. My computer's hard drive has failed and I purchased a new one yesterday. I need to know how to install my MS Office Prof 2007 Upgrade without a previous version installed on the new PC. There must be a way since Best Buy did this for me last time.
