In the old Microsoft Word 2003, the user is capable of printing an address on the envelope with an associated bar-code to make the USPS sending process go much faster. I believe this was accessed through E-postage properties. On Word 2007, for some reason, the same functionality is absent. Word 2007 allows you to print an address, however; only absent the bar code. Is there a way to put this functionality back in 2007 or is there an alternative way to activate it?When accessing E-postage properties through the 2007 version, it's saying that you have to install a third party application.
I am trying to install office 2007 as part of a system rebuild after installing a new hard drive. I get a window saying install was successful, I can open power point or excel but when I try to open word it hangs up at the word logo page. I have done remove programs in control panel, I have used revo uninstall to try to clean the registry. I suspect a corrupted fragment in the registry but don't know how to get at it.
I tried to install Microsoft Office but I had no succes, halfway I get an error 1317 and the path to install is denied. That path is programdata > microsoft > windows Seems these folders are locked or something? I've already tried icacls and make myself owner but i had no succes. What else can be the problem? I am having a problem lately with my computer. When I want to install a software that is big in size it slows down my computer and the installer won't start. I can install software like VLC, Google Chrome etc. that are little in size, but I can't install for example Microsoft Office. I managed to install a game, but the installer started in 3 minutes and meanwhile the computer was very slow. After the installer started the computer returned to normal speed. It can't be a virus I just recently reinstalled Windows.
Best Buy lost my copy of MS Office 2003 professional Edition 2 years ago. They gave me MS Office Professional 2007 Upgrade and installed it for on my computer. My computer's hard drive has failed and I purchased a new one yesterday. I need to know how to install my MS Office Prof 2007 Upgrade without a previous version installed on the new PC. There must be a way since Best Buy did this for me last time.
I get D is not a Win32 application. There is no "run as adminstrator"option, I can't change compatibility mode because it only brings up a list of already installed programs, I bought it retail and have installed it on my computer, my kids computers, etc., no limit on installations.. If I try autoplay I can feel the disc spinning but it never starts to load. I really need it for work as I work from home and it is a requirement.
