WPC54G V3 Linksys Wireless Card
Nov 22, 2009I know the requirement are for windows 7. i have a laptop with 512mb of ram and windows 7 works just fine. i have a WPC54G V3 linksys wireless card. i install the driver and it says in device manager "not enough resources for this device." and it also says "if you want to use this device u will have to disable other devices." i've heard that resources are ram (memory) but is there a way i can get this card to work at ALL!!

I'm having trouble installing the driver for my Linksys Wireless-G PCI WMP54Gv4-card. I've tried the driver from linksys' homepage and the driver on the CD but nothing works.
Someone who got a clue what I have to do?
Ethernet Card Not Being Recognized
Feb 25, 2009I installed the 7022 x86 version of Windows 7. Everything installed fine and there were driver issues which I anticipated but my Ethernet port is not working on Windows 7 or any other OS for that matter.
It�s a very strange situation. After it was not seen I Windows 7 I booted from my 2nd drive which has Vista on it and it was not seen there so I booted from my XP drive and it was not seen on there either.....
I have re-downloaded all the drivers for each version of the OS but none are making the NIC discoverable.
I have an nVidia 680i SLi & I am using the on board port.

Feb 3, 2010I have a Toshiba Satellite a135-s4527. It has a Realtek 10/100 ethernet card in it, and an Atheros wireless card.
My ethernet card doesn't show up in device manager, but the wireless card does.
I went to Toshiba.com and downloaded the appropriate drivers for Windows 7 and my model of computer and installed them, but the ethernet card still doesn't show up in device manager and I'm limited to wireless connections.

Aug 29, 2009Each time i load up my computer everything is running nice and smoothly when i start to open up alot of things that uses internet (or simply play a game) all of a sudden my network card dies and starts saying "An Ethernet cable is not plugged in" blah blah. Anyways the cable works 100% I've tried about 6 different cables all resulting in the same thing..
I've tried updating the driver that still didn't fix
I've tried uninstalling the network adapter and reinstall didn't fix it
I've disabled Ivp6 thingy still doesn't fix it
I'm connected to a Router/homenetwork using a REALTEK PCIe GBE Family Controller and computer specs are in my profile.

Aug 7, 2012how to keep my Ethernet card powered after shutting down my Computer. I would like to use wol(wake on lan) to turn my computer on while I'm away from home so I can use remote access to edit some files. I have configured the wol and am receiving the packets, but every time I turn off my PC the LAN card turns off as well,thus not letting me wake up my PC.

Feb 17, 2011I have a pentium 4 pc that had built in ethernet on the mobo, i replaced it with a gigabit ethernet.I did a speed test at speak easy with the built in and got 60ish mb. I disabled that device and used the gigabit and i got 38mb with or without jumbo frames 7k.I performed the test 4 times with similar results. I have updated both cards with the latest drivers via win update.

Nov 27, 2011When building my Hifi mancave, I was smart enough to wire it for Cat6, etc, but not smart enough to put a few lines of cat 6 into my HTPC jack. So I only have 1 cat6 line into my computer area. My new receiver (Onkyo TX-NR809) has a ethernet port in it, which enables internet radio, media sharing, playing, firmware updating, etc. Being a techy guy I got another netcard and put it in my computer and I want to share internet to the receiver via LAN2.
I've been scouring the internet trying to figure out how to do this with Windows 7x64 to whatever system (probably linux based?). I've seen how to do it with Windows 7&XP, XP&XP, Windows 7&7 linux & Windows, and they all use some sort of "brige internet connection" or something like that, which doesn't apply to my situation. Will someone just tell me what IP stuffs to use for the following:

Sep 26, 2012I have a Dell Studio XPS M1330 Laptop, has NVIDIA motherboard. I think ever since I purchased the PC this problem has occurred.Problem: NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet card will only detect an ethernet cable when I restart. The minute I unplug it, it will not detect it if I plug it back in. I have searched high and low for a solution but have not been able to find one that works. I have disabled the sleep setting on the device and made sure the computer is not allowed to turn off device to save power.Drivers are updated.

Linksys Wireless X64 Drivers
Jun 5, 2009I have the linkys wireless g usb network adapter, its very popular, but doesn't get along well with linux or x64 os's.
Since the install of the RC ive been crashing, and it turned out to be the wireless adapters fault, so i thought back to when i had to get it working with linux, i was pretty sure their were x64 drivers. Ralink chipsets based wireless devices
SOME of the linksys wireless adapters have a "Ralink" chip in them, you can find 64 bit drivers for some of the adapters. I downloaded the one i needed (the first) and installed the software. I then went to update the drivers i had for the wireless adapter and was more than happy to find out that "Ralink Linksys Wireless 54g USB Network Adapter" right under the current 32 bit driver. after you install the software go to
Start > Contro Panel > Hardware And Sound > Device Manager > Network Adapters > Double click your current wireless device, > Driver Tab > Update Driver Software > Browse My Computer > Let Me Pick, > Select The RaLink Driver And their ya go!
Linksys WUSB54GSC Problems
Sep 16, 2009After searching google for the past 6 hours and trying just about every driver that even remotly seems like it would work I decided to make an account here and ask you for your advice.
I am running Windows 7 Pro 64bit and it just doesnt want to connect to my network. Ive tried using linksys drivers, Railink drivers, some other drivers someone said would work as well as many of the preinstalled ones. Most of the time i manually search for the drivers and and pick the linksys ones for the list of drivers i get:
"Windows found driver software for your device but has encountered an error while attempting to install it "
"the device cannot start (code 10)"
I would really appreciate some help on this matter. Im hoping i dont have to buy another adaptor but if i do can you guys suggest som that work with 64bit systems.
by the way: this adapter worked flawlessly with Vista 64x without any drivers at all, i was simply able to use windows network manager to connect to my network.

Oct 27, 2009Ok i used the MS compatibly site to see if the linksys WMP110 was compatibly with windows 7 and it said it was, So i bought it installed the drivers (which were actually vistax64 driver) it worked for a bit and then the computer started restard, try change the PCI port same problem,, Windows 7 did not auto install drivers for it i had to manually do it
Does any know of a good wireless card that works with Windows 7 with out any problems

Apr 27, 2011after i reset my router my ps3 and ipod cant connect to it. And i typed in the IP adress in the browser then it shows a verizon page. I type in admin password since its the default, but the screen falshes and has me re do it over and over. I cant get pass that page.
