How To Adjust Fonts In Following Windows

I cannot change the fonts in these two following windows. I would like to change all these fonts into Arial, but I cannot find a way to change them.I try to adjust them in personalization window coloradvanced appearance settings Active title bar or Menu. This method was practicable in browser menu, PDF files menu, etc. But it only failed to adjust these two windows...what a marvelous.BTW, since the fonts in this window are odd so that some contents in this window cannot be shown.

I have recently installed windows 7 and one of my program (Autocad) has menus that used to stretch from the top of the screen to near the bottom of the screen. Now in Windows 7 the spacing between each line on the menu has increased causing the menus to be much taller, and scroll off the screen.Is there any way to adjust this line spacing in menu items in Windows 7?

im not the best when it comes to knowledge of computers and what not but i'm completely stumped and so is everyone else on the web, it seems. cant find a solution to this for nothing. i also did a search here on screen brightness problems and didnt find anything specific to my problem..basically i just installed windows home 7 ultimate on my hp dv5t after previously having vista on it and i cant find how to adjust the screen brightness.i've googled it and others have had the same problems but i cant find how to fix it. my fn shortcut doesnt work, and when i go to power options and all that, theres no slider or even option to adjust brightness. ive seen where it's supposed to be on windows 7 via Internet videos but it's not there. anyone know what to do, or has anyone heard of this??

I'm moving from an XP machine to a Windows 7 machine. I want to take a bunch of fonts with me, but Explorer in Windows 7 won't let me actually look at what files are in the font directory; all I can see is their characteristics, provided by Control Panel. Will it work to just copy font files into that directory from the XP machine? Or is there some additional voodoo to get them installed?

I don't know what happened, but when I turned on my PC this morning I found out that the following fonts are missing from the Windows/Fonts directory: Arial, Tahoma, Times New Roman. Maybe others are missing also, but I can't tell. Everything is Italic and/or Bold.So my questions are:
01. Why is this happening?
02. What happened with the missing fonts?
03. How could this be fixed?
04. What is the default font and size for Windows 7?
05. Where can I change it?

I received my laptop yesterday - Core i5, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I proceeded to install some apps from Microsoft and Adobe. Installation went fine and the apps started without problems. As soon as I saw the long list of fonts in Word, I wanted to remove as many of them as I possibly could. Brought up Fonts panel. Only 10 fonts - 10 ancient, bitmap fonts. What!? I saw and selected many fonts in Microsoft and Adobe apps. The fonts are indeed there, but they are simply not shown - no Segoe, no Cambria, no Corbel, no Constantia, not even Arial and Times New Roman, nothing.I got nervous and decided to restore Windows all the way back to the starting point.Today, I created the recovery DVDs from the factory partition. Rebooted from the DVDs to re-image C drive. Set up Windows and created my account. Windows 7 came up fresh. I went straight to the Fonts panel to check. Horror - the same 10 bitmap fonts, and nothing else.The factory-installed Windows 7 has problems showing fonts? What should I do now?

I cannot preview any fonts in Windows 7 anymore. I haven't tried this for a very long time so I'm not sure what may have caused it or when. When I try to view a font in windows (double clicking on a font file) I receive an error message instead of the classic "The quick fox jumps over the..." examples of the font in action. I've already attempted to reset the font settings to their default (Control PanelAll Control Panel ItemsFontsFont settings, click restore default font settings button) and I'm unsure of how to proceed. But in the last couple months, once in a blue moon I couldn't change my screen brightness, and now in the last couple days it's gotten a whole lot worse. Usually, I can't change brightness either via my 'fn -/+' hotkeys or via the actual brightness slider in the power panel. A full reboot or simple hibernation then reboot both let me change brightness again. But the last couple days, restarting the computer just puts the brightness on either fully dimmed or fully bright, and I still can't change it.
This is an HP G60 laptop, and I've had windows seven for a year on it. Like I said above it only started a couple months ago then got worse this week, and what I've found on google so far was all for newly-updated-to-seven issues. My drivers all seem to be up to date according to the windows update driver function.

I cannot see many font text in programs including all of Norton, some Ventrilo chats and League of Legends (peoples names in game arent seen and cant see gold gain when I last hit creeps) . Can someone please tell me a way to resolve this problem? I've tried changing the font size thru themes and changed the fonts themselves and they still will not show up for the buttons and the rest.

My windows fonts were a wiped out after a windows 7 update. Just displayed garbage. Happened before and I just did a restore from before the update. Tried to go back but all restore point were gone this time. Got enough fonts back to run the system. How do I restore them all without re-install. Also tired to use powerpoint viewer but not working.

well i downloaded Windows 7 and now everything is HUGE. It says the size of my monitor does not meet the requirements to run over 600 resolution. however, i have a monitor well capable of running that.
I have a dell 2300 and the only drivers i can find are for xp on their site. I have been told maybe the graphics card is not strong enough, however, it is only 4 years old. Is it that big of a deal.
I need some help. I am not currently at my computer but i will update with system stats. when i get back.

My laptop screen was procken and I replace it with a new screen. The new screen show more brightness and rong color compare with any other screen. Do I have to give the screen back to the company or I could adjust the color. the new screen is LG for example the yahoo messenger windows look reddesh Violet on any computer, but on my new laptop screen look blu Violet. Also in general the view is more lighter color more brighter than normal you feel a little fant.

So here is my problem. I have an Acer Aspire 4540 laptop that I recently repaired after laying in my closet with a broken display for some time. So I took it to a repair center and got my new 14' LED display installed. Everything on my laptop is working fine, even my screen is working fine. The only issue I've noticed is that when I try to increase or decrease my screen brightness it cycles between the max and min settings rather than dimming or brightening respectively.
Now, I know I've had this issue before but I can't remember if it was already like this before the screen broke. I have tried rolling back, uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers several times yet the issue is still there.
Im running on Windows 7 Ultimate x86 and my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD4200.
I know this is a small issue but I need to fix it since I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop.

On my old dell inspiron 8600, after I installed Windows 7 ultimate and update the video driver, I can adjust the highest screen resolution to 1920 x 1200.
but everytime when I restart the laptop, it will go back to 1280 x 1024
I will need to manually adjust that back.
Does anyone know how to fix that problem?
My laptop is using NVIDIA Geforce FX Go5200 card.

Any way to set some sort of default start volume. What I was more or less looking for was a way to make the computer always start at a preset volume. As in if I was to have my laptop cranked on volume but after it is restarted it is low again.? If that makes sense.
