Nov 15, 2009Blood 2: The Chosen was released in 1998 and as such, the installer program on the CD is 16-bit. This means it will not run under Windows 7 x64. But the game can still be installed by manual means.There are 3 files on the CD we need- DATA, GAME and MOVIES. Go to your game folder, create a folder called "Blood 2" or whatever else you wish, and copy all 3 of those folders to that new folder.You're done. Go into the GAME folder, find BLOOD2.EXE and run it. Now then... there are some patches for this game. The last version was 2.21. The installers in these patches will not work either, to your grand frustration. However, both patch files include all the update data in raw folder format. They both have the GAME folder with update files. Simply copy all files over to patch manually. In my case, I had to patch to 2.0 then 2.21.

Aug 18, 2012I have an HP Pavilion dm1 Netbook PC (Product # Lm829AV) Amd E-350 Processor with3072 mb of memory and it stopped Booting up after i ran hitman pro before it had a google redirect but other then that if ran fine. I did not see what was removed i was going to look at the logs after the rebooted but all i get is "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" I tested the drive and it passed and ran disk and partition list

Aug 10, 2012I had a file recovery malware infection that i first cleaned with malwarebytes antimalware. Then i ran hitman pro and then it said it would delete a volume boot record and to restart pc.
When i restarted pc it wont boot up now. It says a disk read error has occured press ctrl alt del to restart. I cant even restart with ctrl alt del.
I tried to do a system restore but there are no restore points shown. That file recovery malware hid a lot of files i think and it seems like the main disk drive is now drive H.

My Browsers Not Opening
Jul 25, 2012Neither FF, Opera or Chrome open on my Sony Vaio 64bit system. I know I have Internet access as Avast updates every day. When the relevant icons are pressed the Blue loading ring appears for a few seconds then disappears. When I try to access Task manager by ctr/alt/del the screen appears asking which service I require but when I select Task manager the Blue ring appears and again disappears and nothing happens. I regularly run anti virus scans and everything else seems to work okay. I've heard a rumour that the Bonjour service could be the problem. I I did uninstall it but maybe there is something left behind.

IE 32 bit stopped opening pop-ups. Nothing happens. Even if I turn off pop up blocker, no popups work. Sep 3, 2012When trying to open programs task box opens up and ask for the exe extension for programs. I have tried to using the Internet Explorer program highlighted but it does nothing. It asks if i want to run or save the exe extension for the program. Tried both and nothing works.
Also tried to restore computer from and earlier date, get an error message that says "System cannot start."
