CD Drive Is Stucked And Not Opening
Jul 28, 2012Since the installation froze up halfway through, I shut off the VM, and attempted to eject the installation disk, but the drive wouldn't open. I also find it strange that the light on my drive doesn't blink when I attempt to open it (it usually does). Attempting to eject it from Windows Explorer results in "An error occurred while eject DVD Drive (E:)

My Browsers Not Opening
Jul 25, 2012Neither FF, Opera or Chrome open on my Sony Vaio 64bit system. I know I have Internet access as Avast updates every day. When the relevant icons are pressed the Blue loading ring appears for a few seconds then disappears. When I try to access Task manager by ctr/alt/del the screen appears asking which service I require but when I select Task manager the Blue ring appears and again disappears and nothing happens. I regularly run anti virus scans and everything else seems to work okay. I've heard a rumour that the Bonjour service could be the problem. I I did uninstall it but maybe there is something left behind.

Aug 6, 2012I've tried searching on this but have not found the exact issue. All of a sudden, without any known changes made to my system, IE is experience problerms. IE 32 bit stopped opening pop-ups. Nothing happens. Even if I turn off pop up blocker, no popups work. OWA all of a sudden starting giving me some sort of 'out of memory' message which is ridiculous since I had just booted up and my pc has 12 gig of memory. Anyway, I'm havnig to switch between the two versions of IE.

Sep 3, 2012When trying to open programs task box opens up and ask for the exe extension for programs. I have tried to using the Internet Explorer program highlighted but it does nothing. It asks if i want to run or save the exe extension for the program. Tried both and nothing works.

With it I could open a menu along the right edge of the screen of all of the items on my desktop. I could open this menu over the existing window. It was NOT Aeropeek nor did it require the writing of any code, using the run box, downloading special apps or right clicking anywhere. It did not open the desktop as such; it opened a long menu of the titles of all the shortcuts on the desktop.I eliminated the capability about a month ago and now wish I had it back but I can't remember how I got it. It was not complicated as I would not have been able to do it.

I have the past month or so been confronted with a type screen I have not seen before. IE And Mozilla Firefox Not Opening?
Aug 4, 2011For the longest time both IE and Mozilla Firefox worked perfectly fine except for if i clicked a Google link i was always redirected but I was able to find a way around that but recently on two profiles on my home computer both IE and Mozilla Firefox wont open i have tried to click on them i have tried to run them as administrator and i have tried re-installing Mozilla Firefox i have also tried opening through other programs that give you the option to open your selected browser from there but nothing works i have even tried making a new profile in which they opened perfectly but when i turned the computer off for the night and turned it back on the new profile had the same issue.
