I began to add programs and printers and when I added my HP Photosmart 2575 and then its Vista drivers. I then made another backup of the what I had added to that point. I now get a 9F stop on shutting down after I have done something with the printer as simple as printing a page.
I restored to the original installation and added the Photosmart using only the RC's driver. All is well under that setup and would like to go back to the second backup and uninstall the Vista drivers and use the RC's drivers but can't find any way to roll back the driver to RC one. If I try 'New Driver', the system seems only to find the Vista driver.
How can I delete the Vista driver from my system so that I have only the RC drivers?
I had trouble using the xp64 driver and did not want to download and install the full (huge) vista 64 driver package for this all in one printer. I tried to add printer but there was not an Photosmart 2570 series to pick from the windows driver list. So I tried the available 2600 series driver and some what to my surprise the 2600 series driver works..
I got the Vista 64-bit drivers for my printer, but when it ask whether I wanted to connect via USB or network, and I clicked network, it just kept re-opening. It presume it is having difficulties connecting to the printer. Any good drivers you can recommend that might work? I am running 7 in 64-bit.
I could not print with my HP photosmart on windows 7. HP have a driver now, so I plugged in the printer and started trouble shoot, it fixed it, and now I can print directly onto DVD CDs. I had previously asked HP to let me know when a driver was available, but they have not.
Looking for Windows 7 third party printer driver for HP Photosmart 1000. HP doesn't offer it.Sad companies force consumers to buy products they really don,t need.
My HP Photosmart 7600 series printer won't install or work at all in Windows 7. No updated drivers available. I just love this printer. Nothing wrong with it and it prints beautifully. Since this is a beta OS, is it a possibility that later down the road, drivers might be availablle? This HP printer is a 2003 model, but perfectly good. Newer ones are too expensive in this horrible economy.
I'm having trouble installing a driver for this printer. I've tried to run the setup file I obtained from HP in any type of compatibility mode and it still won't go into the setup mode for the driver. Any suggestions?

When I turn my printer on, a window pops up requesting that I download the appropriate driver. I click on the button, it takes me to Hp's website, my OS options are Win Vista, Win XP, and Win 2000 (?!). I have tried all three. It downloads, then I open the file and I get the original window (must download driver)!!! AGH! Has anyone found a solution, short of reverting back to Vista?
I tried to install the HP driver for a Photosmart 3210 all-in-one printer (Vista 64 bit version) and it worked with the compatibility mode.
Now the printer/scanner works, but everytime I boot it will try to update the driver, then it fails and tell me that the driver could not be installed. What should I do?
I am running on my new HP Pavilion ds6 and need this driver if it exists.HP e-mail support advised to create a new driver using the properties fora HP Deskjet 970cse but that did not work for me

You should be able to download the Windows Vista drivers for that printer from here, which should be compatible with Windows 7:
We have just added our first Windows 7 pc to our XP network. I would like to connect to the Windows 7 PC to a shared "Epson lq-590" printer on one of the XP machines.According to the Epson website the only drivers available for this printer are through Windows 7 update in the "add a printer wizard". If the printer is directly attached to the Windows 7 PC the driver installation via "add a printer wizard" works without a hitch. When trying to add the printer over the network the Windows 7 "add a printer wizard" cannot find the driver for the printe
i got the printer HP photosmart C4380. wonder if anyone know if there is a way to install it in Windows 7 ( i use build 7229 ) with HP´s software, i know windows 7 install´s it fine on it own, but i would like to use hp´s software.
I have an HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m and have been trying to install the driver on my computer. I have Windows 7 32 bit. I have the installation CD, but that doesn't seem to do anything. I have gone to the HP Customer Care site and tried to install the driver for x32, but my cpu does not show the printer and the device that was added says it needs troubleshooting (which doesn't work). Another computer in the house has a 64 bit system and installed it without any problems. I want to be able to scan wirelessly. What more can I do!?
