My laptop has an inbuilt web cam. It is working well with Skype but I do not see it in order to use it to take snap shots. Can someone explain how I can use the camera to take snap shots
I was trying to use my Webcam on Skype and it said it wasn't found. So I checked the ArcSoft Webcam Campanion 3 to see if my camera was connected. It said "A webcam was not found or is not working properly. Please click Connect button and try again." So I click on the Connect button and it tells me "Camera not found. The camera is either being used by another application or is not connected. Make sure the cam is connected and working properly."i have checked device manager imaging devices , there are no error symbol. Also the drive is up to date.My laptop is Sony Vaio and the model # is VPCEb33FM/BJ. I use Windows 7 Home Premium.
i use windows 7 ultimate on my dell laptop. the problem is that my inbuilt webcam is not recognized an a hardware .same applies to my external webcam. i can only use it in yahoo messenger or skype.
For some reason... When ever I put my curser of an icon on the task bar, windows 7 doesn't show the screen shot of the window in use... Instead it just names the titles of my window!!
The method used by most to upload screen shots and pictures is saving it in .jpeg/jpg/jpe format and by using the Snipping Tool and the Attachments (paperclip) at the top of the Reply Box.
If you do not know about the Snipping Tool, please read this Tutorial on it.
How to use the Snipping Tool in Vista - Vista Forums
To start, use the Snipping Tool or whatever screenshot program you prefer and save it as a .jpeg/jpg/jpe.
When you are ready to include a screen shot in your thread/post, click on the paperclip in the reply box, where it will go to the Manage Attachments page.
From there, click on the browse button to open up the File Upload window.
Insert you image and click on The Upload button to the right.
You can also upload the file from a url.
Now, close the Attachment window at the top right.

have a MSI U130dx Net book with Intel Atom motherboard,Realtek HD audio and Windows 7 Starter Edition. The inbuilt mic wont work. It comes out with just static when it is not muted. It dosent recognize voices.
I'm looking for something like this to occur. Instead of having just two screens side by side in Windows 7, it'd be awesome to have more or to customize the screen sizes and shapes as well.
Why does Aero snap cut off half the Windows Media player 12 video? -dual sreen display is not on. Example: When i snap videos up or to the left it maximizes.
I find the aero snap feature of windows 7 really useful, just not all the time. What I would love is for a feature where the 'snap' kicks in that I could press a key (ctrl, alt, shift something like that) that would temporarily disable snap so that I can position windows where I want.Is there anyway of achieving something like this, either natively or through third party software?
I need "pfussorgproperty.dll" to run ScanSnap Manager for my old fujitsu ScanSnap scanner fi-5110EOX. This program ran perfectly on Windows XP on my 9 year old PC.I am attempting to install the program on Windows 7 Home Premium, running on a Lenovo H330 i5 with 8 GB RAM. I have the old disks, but cnnot open the cab files independently to see if the file is there. I've installed and uninstalled the old progams without the file appearing.I have downloaded installed and reinstalled the new program and updates from fujitsu, but this file does not appear. There is no information on the web site about this file and no telephone number to call for support either. Search of the fujitsu site does not produce the file or information about it. When I try to start the Scan Snap Manager, I get an error message indicating that the above file is needed. When I turn the scanner on and try to run a document through it, the document runs through and then I get a message indicating that the above file is needed.
I have HP DV4 Pavillion core i3 with Windows7 operating system.I would like to know if we could use the inbuilt speakers and headphone simultaneously forexample...headphone for voice chat and inbuilt speakers for music playing.
i have an HP G4 2049tx notebook PC, despite installing all the drivers for my bluetooth, the inbuilt bllueetoth is not detected, whenever i try to serach the bluetooth through my cell phone, it doesnt detect the bluetooth of my laptop, one more thing , the bletooth provides me the option of turning it on and off, but doesnt work actually?
I would like to slide my icons closer to the edge and bunch them up more. I don't see a "snap-to-grid" attribute anywhere, but that's what I think is happening.
I do not like when Windows 7 maximize my window that I drag to the edge of my screen, so I found how to disable this. But this also disables the [winkey] + [arrow key] shortcut that I do like to use.I wonder if there is a way to ony disable the snap function when dragging / rezising window and keep the [winkey] + [arrow key] functionality enabled?I dont even know how to search this. um."disable snap enable keyboard shortcuts" search engine goes like What?!?
I was messing around with some custom themes (I know, I know, but I'm pretty familiar with the process and I try to take extra precautions) and for what seems like no reason, I cannot resize Explorer (not IE, the actual file explorer) windows and if I attempt to use Aero Snap, absolutely nothing happens--I can maximize, minimize, etc. though. However, if I use any other program, I can resize and I can do snap, so obviously the problem is only with Windows Explorer. Another weird issue (besides System Restore not doing anything) is that I even installed another custom theme because I figure that whatever files it gave me would probably fix up the explorer issue--and now the theme is installed but I still can't resize or use snap on Explorer.
I am running 2 monitors on my Win 7 computer and I am trying to figure out hoe to snap a window to the sides where the monitors meet. Im sure there has to be a keyboard shortcut for this.
It's a Toshiba Laptop with Windows 7 Installed. (Original Copy). However, just about 2 day's back, I could not use my Microphone Inbuilt as it was not working. Fyi, the Speakers are working perfectly. Have checked the Laptop and found the Drivers all installed, but could not find any error. We have been using this Laptop for mostly skype calls and used extensively. It would be almost 3 months now. But just a couple of days back that the Mic did not start functioning.
I have windows 7 professional 32 bit. I have a 814.2mb maximum memory of which 64mb is dedicated..Im thinking of buying an external graphics card which will have 1024 mb dedicated memory....
1.Will my OS share graphics memory from the inbuilt GPU?(Intel G41 Express Chipset)
2.If not from where will it share?
3. If i turn off aero effects, will i get full 1024mb for gaming?
