Sometimes when I Open up an Excel attachment in outlook a message comes up "insufficient resources" I am using Windows 7 operating system & Excel 2007. The same problem occurs when I have several Excel files open and run a macro
Usually after I have run a macro on Excel and truy to open up another workbook , I get a message "Insufficient resources" I use Windows 7 and Office 2010 and have 4GB of RAM.
From time to time when opening up an Excel workbook, I get a message "Excel cannot complete this task with available reources. Choose less data or close other applications". I am using office 2010 and Windows 7
Running Windows 7 64-bit. Was using Skype successfully until I got an alert to update. So I started to update and during the process there was a problem with installing, so I cancelled. However, canceling also deleted my Skype and I am having trouble installing the latest version. Specifically, I'm getting and error message that says..."there are insufficient privileges and that I should log in as an administrator." I am logged in as the one and only administrator. Also, another error message said that Skype couldn't create the folder: "C:programdatamicrosoftwindowsstart menuprogramsskype? By the way, I've also have somewhat similar (administrator problems) problems installing ABBYY, Silverlight.
I am facing this problem, mostly while playing games and sometimes even when operating computer normally. Earlier I used to get BSOD but now it comes rarely. I tried almost everything but wont able to solve this problem:
- Formatted my computer - Changed OS - Reinstalled OS - Even changed my monitor
started recently, when I boot my PC, the screen shows message: no signal and screen stays dark. However, in the background W-7 is loading, but in order to get the video functioning, I must restart the PC, turn off the screen, wait till W-7 loads somewhat and (like after 10 sec.) turn the screen on and everything is OK.Monitor is NEW Video card too, I tried with a second one, same problem...My question is, is this W-7, main board, or something else related?
I just finished running chkdsk with switches /f and /r on an external drive because Windows backup/restore couldn't use it to store a system image and recommended that I run it. It took a couple of hours and then the program exited with the message 'Insufficient diskspace to fix volume bitmap'. I don't see how diskspace was insufficient as there are 79GB free out of the total 149GB, why did chkdsk say that?
About a week or so ago my asus laptop messed up and i got stuck doing a clean install of win 7. At first it would go straight to 100% on copying windows files and wouldn't do anything else so i reformated the drive. After that it started saying i had insufficient memory on the drive even though i have two 100 gb partitions.
I am running W7 Pro as a sole user with full Administrators rights on a new PC. I have been installing software such as Word 2002, my scanner and similar but hit a problem when attempting to install Pinnacle Studio Plus 9 when I received the message that I need Administrators rights to install software when I put the CD into the drive. I know that Pinnacle Studio Plus 9 is identified as being for up to XP; could this be the reason for the message? I am unsure as to whether XP Mode has been enabled as yet but am aware that W7 Pro has this facility.
I bought "Far Cry 3" through Steam.I have been getting the error message: "You do not have sufficient access privileges to run the game. Please contact your administrator."Since then I have been trying to fix this issue several hours everyday, opened a support ticket with both Ubisoft and Steam. However no matter what I have done the error is still the same.I have tried to: Run the game as "hidden administrator". Given ownership of "C:" to myself. Changed Steam.exe, farcry3.exe, farcry3_d3d11.exe, Uplay.exe and UbisoftGameLauncher.exe to "Run as administrator" for every user. I have given "Full Control" to "Everyone, SYSTEM, Users (MyComputerNameusers) and Administrator (MyComputerNameAdministrators)" in the Steam and Ubisoft folders. I let Steam, Uplay and Far Cry 3 through the HIPS function (eset nod32). I always have UAC turned off
While installing a printer software, a "insufficient memory, need 55 mb to install" message appears and installation stops. I have 366GB available in HD and 4GB RAM. What can I do?
I have a Intel i5 2500k 3.3Ghz, with 4GB memory running on windows 7 ultimate 64 bits. My problem is, since I changed the OS to this "more advanced", I cannot play Flight Simulator 2004 without this error message that closes the game. "Insufficient memory, please check your hard drive..." My system only has Flight Simulator installed, plus microsoft office and Avg antivirus (not counting with all the system updates, drivers etc). I don't understand this problem, because before this OS, I had Win XP 32 bits, with a lot more programs and addons installed and running, and I never had this problem...even with all the graphics pumped up to the max in the game. My graphic card is Asus En9800GT nvidia with 1gb ddr3 and HD with 400GB still to use (same board and HD used with XP).
I have problems with Installer. I have tried all of the Fix-its etc on Microsoft sites but it still remains. It installs up to a point then tells me that it cannot create a directory.
I have tried the Fixits, no good. I have tried to install Windows Updater 4.5 but it tells me that there is insufficient storage space. I have 435 GB of free space on my HD.
Just installed office 2013, when I open word I get that error. I read up and one article said"So, following the second set of instructions, we created Old.dotx in the above folder, rebooted the Remote Desktop server, and fired up Microsoft Word The error did not reappear, though there still was not a Normal.dotx in thefolder.
I have tried several times to send an attachment but I keep getting a failed delivey message. It is a CV written out using microsoft works. I have tried sending it from my ''desktop'' and also from ''my documents'' but these methods have failed.
Does it exist a way to see an attachment without download it? Every time that I receive an attachment in an email the only way that I can see it is if the same is downloaded and when is download is saved in the documents or picture files.A lot of them is not worth it to even download less saved. Please, because of my job I receive a lot of attachment and it a wast of time download and deleted all that I am not interested to keep it.
I am currently running Windows 7 with Gmail via Google Chrome & Windows Live Mail 2011. In both email systems when I select "attachment" the window will open but has no menu bar where I can select the appropriate drive or folder of the file I wish to attach. Thought it was a Gmail issue, but discovered that Live Mail does the same thing. Wondering if there is a way to get the menu bar back?
I'm running CCleaner on 'wipe free space' at the moment, and it's going to take at least two hours from my calculations. I've got a 1TB hard-disk, so understandably that's a lot of data to overwrite. The thing is that I looked at my resource monitor and it's only using 3% of the CPU and 31% of the total RAM.
I tried setting the process at a higher priority but Windows won't let me change system priorities. I've already spent hours trying to get my folder permissions set-up, and now this. Is there any way that I can get full control over the computer I payed for?
Alternatively, is there any other way that I can allow programs more resources without being hit with "Access Denied. Exterminate! Exterminate!"?
Windows 7 would be excellent were it not for the nannying.
How much resources does aero take? will my dual set up be enough?. i am planning to get a AMD Athlon II X2 240 CPU with a MB that has a 780G chipset which has ATI HD 3200 integrated graphics, will it be able to handle aero?
I have about 4gigs of ram installed and my computer has been running pretty poorly lately. When idle the computer uses up 50% of the physical memory, and when I play games such as Star Wars: Old Republic, it goes up to around95% which causes severe lag. [code]
I just bought a laptop (HP Pavilion dual core 4GB RAM) and set up 3 user accounts on it. Within the first few days I received a message upon login that the system was low on resources and I had to log into an account that was already in use. The problem is that all of the accounts are logged out. The problem is getting progressively worse and I have to reboot the computer virtually every time I log in. I've performed virus scans and have been observing the processes over time via the resource monitor.
I had windows vista 32 bit earlier. Then I got windows 7 professional upgrade in trial period. I didn't notice how it happened. Of course it must be my mistake. Now when i boot from windows 7 it shows 64 bit and in vista it shows 32 bit. The system asks before booting which one to choose. It's today only that I have installed but I am not facing any problem as such except that i need a product key within 30 days. Should i leave as it is or uninstall vista somehow. Would i be able to reboot my system using the 32 bit vista CD?
Is there a way to send a photo (Jpg) as an attachment using Windows Live Mail the same way as Outlook Express would do? When I try to send a photo as an attachment it is sent in an album using SkyDrive (What ever that is). I can sent word files OK, but not photos.
In windows 7, in my email program, a Word 2003 doc will not open. I must save the file to a folder, and then open it. This is the only type of file for which this occurs. I have gone thru the Default Programs drill and tried all types of options, but with no success.
using win 7 64 bit.I accidentally tried to send a large photo as as an attachment to an e-mail. How can I cancel it as each time I try to send an another email it keeps trying to send the large one with the resulting error. Will system restore remove it?
Running Windows 7 (64 bit), Eudora 7.1.0.9, Microsoft Office 2003 (Outlook is installed but I do not use Outlook as my email client)I want to attach a file to an email in Eudora by positioning mouse over a picture or a pdf file then right click mouse, click "send to", click "mail recipient". However, Outlook opens up and my attachment is placed in Outlook. Eudora is my default email program so why isn't Eudora receiving the attachment. When I close Outlook and try again I get message "Microsoft Office Outlook. A dialog box is open. Close it and try again." I went to tools, options, advanced options, Com Add-ins, and unchecked the add-ons but this does not help.I am unable to uninstall just Outlook (Excel and Word also uninstall with it). When I click control panel, uninstall, Microsoft Office the "change" option does not appear. Only Uninstall (as in uninstall the entire Office program) appears. So uninstalling Outlook is not an option. On my old Windows XP computer , I had the same software installed (Eudora and Ooutlook)and attaching files to Eudora worked perfectly.
Saved it to access it easily, actually it's the email itself (the icon is an nveloppe) I sent to a library folder, i can't delete it. I tried to send it elsewhere, it sends a copy of itself but won't delete: every copy is NOT deletable.
Ok I have a problem thats starting to affect more users every few days.Outlook 2010 has started blocking all attachments ie xls xlsx doc docx pdf and more.I have added the file extensions to the level 1 and level 2 remove string in the registry but then when a user goes to open the attachment the Outlook Attachment security warning will appear prompting the user to save the file to a location. but the save wont complete
