Error When Creating Simple Playlist For WMP

Whenever I try creating a simple Playlist, I get an error right after I hit enter when I'm done naming the Playlist. Is there anyway I can fix this? I was really hoping to use WMP to manage my songs and videos!
I didn't have this problem before. Also, I recently [few hours ago] reformatted my HD and installed a fresh Windows 7 to rid all the bloatware software that came with my Acer laptop.
From Google I found this thread DEAR WANDY / windows media player 12 The person had the same problem and fixed it. Problem is I have no idea how to "edit the registry" and all that.
Edit: I think I've found the solution. The music MUST be in the "Media Library" in order to have it in the playlist, albums, etc. Very lame.

I did a fresh win 7 RC 1 build 7100 install and when making playlist I get this error C00D0FF1 how do you fix this?

I'm new on this forum and I'm having a little problem when I try to install a new application, the DAZ 3D. I can't install because Windows 7 shows me this message: There has been an error. Error creating directory C:/Users/?Wagner/AppData/Roaming/DAZ 3D" Something (not me) is putting a question mark (?) before my username.

WMP 12 has automatically created a playlist for, it seems, every album in my library. It displays these in the central details pane when I highlight playlists in the navigation pane. This makes it difficult to find the playlists which I created myself (eg those containing a selection of tracks from different albums or a link to a radio station). The ones I really want to find get lost amongst all the albums. Is there a way to get rid of the 'album playlists' which WMP created, or to have them not show? The same issue occurs on both my main PC and my laptop. I don't see the point of these 'album playlists'. When I want to play an album I can look at the albums view of the library and play the album from there. I tried deleting them but they were created again the next time I restarted WMP.

I am running Windows 7 SP1 and using windows media player 12.I keep all my music folders and files in a main folder that i have named it : Music.I want to create an auto playlist in windows media player 12,so that any changes in the Music folder on my hard disc, including adding or deleting songs and aslo changing the tags, be automatically set in that playlist.I remember this feature in wmp 11 but don t know how to do it in version 12.

Looking for solution for printing out my playlist. Can't find anything for WMP12, only for earlyier vers. Anybody who either knows a program that can do the trick or a program that can input the info to an Excel doc. I dont want the coding included, only the song, singer, album, so on, and so on.

I want to create an icon on the desktop for my Windows media Playlist... I just want to double click on it and have it auto play all the music in that particular playlist, instead of opening WM then clicking the playlist then hitting play.

Under computer I go to my drive of folders. When I click new folder either by right clicking or by hitting new folder the system then creates 2 or 3 new folders at one time. I then have to go back and delete the extra folders. At first I did not mind because it only happened once or twice and now it is every time.

Every time I save a playlist it is gone when I close it and open it again but the playlists are still in the playlist folder for windows media player.

so when i double click on an mp3 etc, the track begins to play with media player, but then when i try to drag another track into the playlist, it fails to appear.a little symbol pops up when the track is hovering above the playlist, saying something like "add to playlist" but when i let go of the mouse, the track does not appear. if i double click it, it just starts playing as a new playlist.i've tried downloading vlc as an alternative, but when right clicking on audio files, there's no option to "open with" etc, and i can't drag tracks into vlc either.

I have a backup .bat that I have hobbled together from forums such as this. The original was made a few years ago. It worked flawlessly, until I brought it to windows 7. Very funny, now, it only works between 10am and midnight. This has been hell to figure out because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I know it has something to do with the context of the "set hour" or "if "%hour.." part, but I can't figure it out. Should be an easy fix for someone familiar with .bat programming. Here is the relevant part:

wondering if this is a limitation of having 4 primary partitions.my lenovo came with 4 primary partitions (all tagged with dark blue color in diskmgmt):

I can shrink the 650gb by say 300gb, and it will make a 350gb unallocated partition.If i try to create a new simple volume from the 350gb, disk mgmt throws errors saying 'not enough space to complete operation'

It has gotten worse, the problem is that my CPU's temperature goes above 70 and sometimes around 85, and the fan just goes crazy.I can run as many applications I want, as long as they don't involve: gaming (3D), video rendering, video conversion, video streaming, skype calling etc.
This is ridiculous, I'm trying to convert my videos to another format, and can't really do it in this condition because I fear shortening the life of my laptop if the overheat stays on. I just bought my laptop the start of this year, this only started to happen recently.

My job involves juggling six different pieces of internal software and attention to detail. It's easy to forget that I need to check my email for customer messages each half hour (or thereabouts). The company wants me to use gmail so I can't configure incoming messages to make a sound. Even if I could, it would be better just to do a scheduled check.
Cnet has a ton of reminders and clocks; too many to sort through. Anyone have a suggestion for something that will make a simple sound and pop up a message box on top of whatever I'm doing? I use Windows 7 Professional 64bit

I've been running into several problem ever since I installed Windows 7. The latest problem, under devices the computer icon displays a warning sign. The trouble shooting indicates "unable to locate a driver for the PCI Simple Communications Drive.I have 1 PCI Express x 1, 4 SATAII. Prior to Windows 7 I never had a problem. Does anyone have a solution?

I installed Windows 7 build 7227 3 days ago and have encountered 2 problems.
My MB Management Engine Interface Drivers are incompatible and even when I try to run them in compatibility mode they still do not work.
2nd Problem:
The new OS is not picking up one of my WD 1Tb HDD. It shows in the bios, and it shows in the device manager but nowhere else. I think that this may have something to do with the fact that there is no PCI simple communications controller installed, and I cannot find that anywhere.
