Deleted "My Pictures" Folder

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have pictures and photo albums that I have deleted and empted out of the recycling bin. When I go to my picture album they are not there. But when I go to upload a photo to another site all those pictures and albums are there again. They are empty but still there and it takes a lot of scrolling to get to where I want to be. How can I get these off my computer?

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn Windows 7 I installed the xbox 360 extender using Media Center, all my media files show up, but after exiting the extender, all my media files do not show anymore on their default windows folders for Pictures, Videos, and Music. Re-enter Media Center, and I am able to see all my media files, but unable to reach them through my PC, even after exiting again, and using my PC normally.
1- Advance searched my files to no avail, restored WMP library to no avail, restarted several times to no avail.
2- Used old Vista tricks in regedit to no avail, files still don't show up, they only do when I start the extender, and I see them through the extender only.
3- Restored to previous point in history on Windows to no avail.
4- Disabled WMP and WMC in Windows services and features, and re-enabled them, to no avail.
I deleted the desktop folder in my personal folder and my icons on desktop don t apear anymore now.How can i put it back there?

These duplicates are not copies; what you do to them affects their desktop counterparts. This means I cannot move, rename, or delete them without the desktop files being affected. It's as though my Desktop were somehow linked to that folder.

I am no longer able to share the My Pictures folder on my desktop with the laptop. I've repeatedly tried to set the share and advance share options on the the desktop's My Pictures folder,

I'm trying to figure out how to transfer my pic files from 1 folder to another ..... the only options I have when I click on a pic is SEND: to desktop or compressed file .... I know how to send a pic via email or share it on FB, but for the life of me I can figure out how to make THEME folders . I can copy and paste .... I've got Windows 7 .... have to laugh it says I am 972 years old, one would think with that lifelong experience I could figure this out ..

The problem is when I tried to do a back up it failed and said it was because the folder path was missing. I tried to delete the folder but it will not let me.

However, my videos folder has extra files such as thumbnail pictures and music that are showing up in WMP. I do not want them to show up.

I tried to move the photo folders & files from "My Pictures" to "Pictures" but Window's geniouses did not give us that option. I do not need to click to "My Pictures" since they are ALL MY pictures. So are we stuck with this decision or is there a way which I can get rid of 1 of the folders? Same with "Documents" & "Videos".

Used space: 44,277,760 42.2MB
Free space: 60,575,744 57.7MB
When I try to open the drive and access my files, Pic, Doc, etc. It says this folder is empty. How do I regain access to my files?
I have a folder on my desktop which I used as a temporary location for pictures and videos. Once it was empty I deleted it but every time I open my internet browser it pops up again. I am using Mozilla Firefox and have checked the download settings but this folder is not named in any path that I can see. I also checked WMP but it doesn't appear there either. The only other program I used this folder with was Movavi to convert the video files to MP4 but it's not showing up there either.

After installing a few programs, I noticed they were all going to X86 folder, so I thought this was an install error on the shipping companies part, and deleted the unnumbered program files folder.
