Every time I try to play this game this pops up; "The program can't start because d3dx9_33.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."Should I try reinstalling the game? or that file?
My problem is how to restore "Repair your Computer" option in Advanced boot options ?I deleted system reserved and transferred MBR to my System Partition .
I know that is a horrible Title for this post, but I'm really not sure what to call it exactly. The left part of the window that opens when attaching files to an email is gone, as shown in the picture below. Anyone know why this would be happening? The left portion, notice how the C:/ D:/ nothing is there.

I have recently installed a game for my brother but when I launch it, this error appearsIt says that some MSVCP100.dll file is missing from my computer and that's why the game can't launch. But otherwise the game is installed.I tried googling to find this .dll file but I couldn't.

So let me give you the entire issue in a timeline-like format so you can get an idea of the issue and what I have done to try and fix it.
> Computer crashes into a blue screen saying 'Windows is shutting down to avoid causing damage to your hardware'.
> I turn the computer back on, it works for a while and then does it again.
> I play around with the wires and it works for a few days.
> I assume it is an issue with the hard drive (corrupt data or something). I format the hard drive.
> It crashes again with the exact same screen as before.
> I play around with the RAM, removing one strip (Out of my two strips). It works fine for a few months.
> I order a load of new components for my PC including a new PSU, new hard drive and new case.
> Everything works fine on the first few days.
> It crashes again (After I think I have somehow fixed the issue) with the same error as before.
Note: The most recent crash happened when I was not using my new hard drive.
> After turning off it begins to restart and says 'Windows cannot find BOOTMGR' or something along those lines and turns off again.
> I press the on button again however all the fans spin (GPU, 2 case fans, CPU, PSU as well as hearing the hard drive spinning). Mouse and keyboard do not respond (Lights on them stay out.) Monitor does not turn on.
> Tried fiddling with a number of things including GPU, Switching between 2 hard drives, RAM etc.
The "My Computer" icon is missing from my desktop. It's also missing from the Administrator account and I can't get it show either on any new account that I create. I use here at home Windows Professional. All other icons from the Desktop Icon Settings windows work fine. (e.g.: Control panel, Network etc...). I know people will try to give the basic solutions so I will just say that I have done all the basic things like check "show on desktop", checking "My Computer" in Desktop icon setting window, viewshow desktop icons, refreshing the icon cache, using 3rd party software like Ultimate Windows Tweaker, using Godmode, and yes.... I restarted my computer. I bought this computer 2 months ago and it has been like this since I got it. I just dragged a shortcut out to the DT but it bugs me.
I have a Macbook Pro and I'm running Windows 7 through Bootcamp. Everytime I try to start my computer a BSOD appears after the window logo with "STOP: C0000135 The program cant start because %hs is missing. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have tried booting through safe mode and all the modes listed when pressing F8 when starting the computer. None of the boot properly. All I get is a BSOD and computer shuts off and restarts.
In my 'computer' - By that I mean the place where OS (:C) Is located and all - There is no more an option for removable media. Or removable storage. I run windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
So basicly no SD, Usb use to work. UNLESS I go to change driver letters and paths and then choose assign a letter and assign one but it only works for one time and then next time insert a different or same usb nothing happens. This is crazy. There is suppose to be a drop down bar in 'computer' but its just not there. Only hard drive disks drop down menu is there. And I have a asus laptop. U50 F Series.
i was on Internet when all of a sudden, firefox froze and my computer then crashed. after it restarted, "bootmgr is missing" popped up. i tried a repair disk but it didn't work.
Whenever I try to launch MSIKombustorDX11.exe Which is a benchmarking program for graphics I get a System error "The program can't start because D3Dcompiler_42.dlll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have reinstalled MSI kombustor and restarted my computer why the problem still exist.
I have a lenovo g570 model number 4334. My roommates borrowed it one night and got a virus on it from watching p--n. I did a system restore on it to get rid of it. Now my computer wont go past the starting windows screen and instead goes to a windows box and says," The program can't start because CRYPT32.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem." I borrowed somebody's computer thats exactly the same as mine and created a boot disk to try and fix it but then it stops and says that its missing ootmemtest.exe or something like that.
I'm trying to re-enable the search indexing function on windows 7, however when I go to computer management the service windows search is not listed. What can I do to find it or reinstall it if need be?
All I did was open a video strored locally with no connection to the internet. Shut down computer properly. I go to start it up and start up repair kick in. I have let the thing run on startup repair over night and a total of 12 straight hours. It reboots once, maybe even twice. Then it just sit a says attempting repairs. I just did a hard shut done. I was able to pull the data off using Uburba (not sure of the spelling). The USB 2.0 is not recognized in start up repair command prompt. I had a image saved to a CD. I can't get past the username password. The one I had wrote down does not work. System restore fails because I can't it doesn't have a .DDL file or it says something. If I could get the USB 2.0 to work I have an external that has a couple of images that would be better than re-installing. I tried moving the image into the computer then using the image restore, but I learned that doesn't work because it somehow tracks were it wrote the image to. This is way I need the usb 2.0 to pull the image from my external HD.What is the default password of HomeGroupUser$?
I have Windows 7. I was installing i-tunes and when it asked to restart my computer I restarted it. When it logged back in the desktop was like in the beginning - the desktop theme was some default picture not the one I had put on, no additional programs were not installed and the worst part - my user folder on the desktop was completely empty! All of the folders My Music, My Pictures etc. had only Sample Pictures and Sample Music in them. I tried searching for my files but they cannot be found. Even worse - in My Computer the Local Disk is shown to be almost empty, like all of my files hadn't been there. So is there any way I can find and restore my files?
I have a hp G71-449WM Notebook running Windows7 premium 64bit. I can't boot computer the repair disc I have doesn't seem to work. I have no installation disc to fall back on and I can not seem to get it to boot in safe mode. Right now its asking me to find the needed driver in the driver folders. Unless it's called something else I do not see a bootmgr driver. Right now its asking me to connect to the network which would be cool but i don't know what folder they where asking me to type in.
I have a 1TB hard drive partitions into a C drive and D drive. The operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. The C drive is my every day stuff, and I use D to store media, music, video etc. Today I wanted to access the D drive and it was not there. The C drive is listed as usual. I went to Disk Management and the missing D drive was not there as well. I don't know if this explains things, but I ran a partition analysis program and it showed 500 gigs as unallocated. But that space is also not noted in disk management. Right now I am running partition recovery software to see if the files are somewhere, but it will take a few hours.
I'm trying to open an .exe software, but when I do, I get an error telling me that the file "msvcr100.dll" is missing from my computer.I found the file on the internet, and installed it into my windows/system32, then I restarted my computer. The file is installed, but I still get the error
