I just bought all my parts, and I can't seem to get the computer stable. It is constantly BSOD or freezing and crashing during games. I've attached the SF diagnostic report for one of the dumps i guess.

It's mainly when using BBC iPlayer to watch videos, but also when using Spotify and once when I tried to empty the recycle bin. I've attached a zip of the DMP files and the other info.
View 4 Replies View Relatedjust recently bought a new computer and encountered some problems on video playback and on games. on videos the video plays normally until some time the videos becomes jittery with green and pink lines, if i leave it that way it usually results into a "display driver has stopped responding...." or it goes bsod. this also happens on Internet and other video streaming sites. on games it's pretty much the same but it crashes and goes bsod or display driver has blah blah.... i pretty much updated all the drivers needed mobo, video card and win7 updates and it still haunts me, but then again i can still play videos and do gaming

2 ACER X223W monitors Having an issue where I will get a BSOD while watching videos. Have tried onboard video and 2 different vid cards and it happens every time. The onboard video was designed to support dual monitors as well as the video cards.

While playing a game, or watching a video on a website or a player it freezes and gives me the BSOD and oh, I did not find the "save as" in "file" in the preformance monitor Attachment 208535,as for the other requested file, here it is: Attachment 208536.

And it happens at least twice a month.. On my laptop I can run a game and log into my account and pick a character but as soon as it loads the character i get blue screened, it sometimes happens when I am watching a movie or something but only on the rare occasion but it happens every time i try to play a game. Earlier tonight I restored to factory settings and all was going well and I was installing a game until at about 54% I got a blue screen. My laptop is 64-bit and has the original operating system on it which is the pre-installed version that came on it.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am having the famous bsod when watching video, using mpc for local and flash (Internet) for online after an hour or so from when i start watching. i noticed that the crash happens more often when i use often the seek-bar and jump to various points of the movie. codecs dont think are the problem for they are regularly updated. this crash sometimes happen when i am playing games an hour or so after the start.

Ran the W7F diagnostic tool as admin and it wouldn't create anything on my desktop so have attached dump files/cpu-z/RAMMON
Has always BSOD occasionally but has become much more frequent, every 15mins when playing X-COM. Appears to be mostly 101 clock error. The processor was pre-overclocked by the supplier, the overclocking profile only kicks in when cpu is under load. I never changed voltages or anything else in bios.
Ran prime 95 for 3 hrs last night before it crashed but the error was different to what it normally is - that's the oldest dump file in attached.
It's been doing this lately, and i get the blue screen telling me memory has failed and is shutting down. It's only up for a second, but right before that, the screen goes nuts with distortion and i hear buzzing (audio malfunction).

I've had this laptop for 13 months, OS is same.
I got a BSOD about 5 months ago and I replaced one of my memory sticks and everything was fine until now. I've been getting them recently and I noticed its usually while watching a video or playing a game (graphics card problem?). After each bsod I usually get another during startup. Then my laptop runs startup repair and everything is fine for a few hours. I ran the driver verifier and it crashed almost as soon as i loaded a video but didn't create a dmp file for some reason.

I seem to be getting a BSOD every once in a while. I don't understand why it happens. It seems to happen occasionally while I am doing various things on the computer. I might be watching a video, or maybe just talking on Skype.I attached the files asked for, and included a picture of the BSOD..Edit: This computer was recently reformatted (a couple weeks ago). It appears to have been the cause, since before the reformat I never experienced this. Also, it's Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I have tried reinstalling windows, flashing bios, updating misc drivers, ran CHKDSK on both my os ssd and storage hhd, but in vain.

Having recent problems with my windows 7 OS. I'm getting BSOD on startups. This started recently and occurs during idle or viewing videos. I've tried WhoCrashed and found out it might be my nvidia drivers for my mobo, but I've updated them and still crashes. I'm running windows 7 32bit.
View 9 Replies View Relatedrecently, i have had many bsod consecutively. recently, i have had about 9 bsod over about 5 days (although the report lists a break between my bsod between 2/21 and 3/27 because i was on break for most of this). in the past i have gotten bsod while playing games, but the recent ones have been while doing mundane tasks such as browsing the internet or watching Internet videos?i have used bluescreenview to try to discover the cause of my problem, but every bsod seems to have a different error and file associated with it. many of them are blamed on ntoskrnl.exe, but have different error messages. some are from different files.i am running windows 7 64 bit on a desktop i built about 15 months ago. since then, i have gotten many error messages, but more recently. i have 8 gb of ram, geforce gtx 470, amb phenom ii black multicore processor, and gigabyte 890gpa-ud3h motherboard. i assembled the desktop components and installed all software new onto the computer.
things i have tried recently: resetting the ram in different slots, running antivirus (i have avg free, malwarebytes, and spybot), cleaning the computer fans, uninstalling/driversweeping the video card drivers and reinstalling, disabling the motherboard sound card through bios so the external sound card i have installed does not interfere, running cmd /chkdsk with fix to try to correct any errors found. i have been dealing with bsod a lot frequently, although it has usually only been about 1 per week in the past. these are extremely frequent recently with multiple per day and it is interfering with my work. attached are the files requested.

Acer ASPIRE M3802 (details to follow) starts making buzzing noises while I am playing videos, especially when buffering multiple videos at a time e.g. in multiple tabs of browser. This starts happening at irregular intervals, sometimes just after 10 mnts, sometimes after about an hour or so. The system actually freezes every few seconds. This continues till the system displays BSOD or I restart it. After restart, it is fine for quite a long time but eventually the problem starts again.

i recently purchased a toshiba satellite l850d laptop for university and it's been fine for the most part. however, whenever i try to watch videos (usually on Internet), my laptop freezes, the screen goes black and a blue screen appears with a physical memory dump message at the bottom of it. this usually happens after watching 9 or 10 videos.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I have an HP Pavilion dv6z notebook running 64 bit Windows 7, it originally came with Vista pre-installed but I received an upgrade disc when 7 came out, that I have for about 3 years now. It was running great until about August or September last year when I would occasionally get a blue screen when playing Fallout New Vegas, which I had been playing on and off since Christmas 2010. This happened once every couple of weeks. Since then slowly more programs things have been tripping the blue screen and the frequency has increased. Now a number of games, though mostly newer 3d games and minecraft, have been setting it off. Then I started having it also occasionally blue screen when using a web browser or watching a video file.
The notebook is a HP Pavilion dv6z (s/n: CNF9351VRX, p/n: NT594AV), with an AMD Turion x2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-75 cpu, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 graphics card, an Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter, a 300 gig hard drive, 4 gigs of ram, and a blu-ray drive. I don't know what the motherboard or sound cards are. It is not being overclocked, I don�t even know how to overclock things even if I wanted to. Also it is not a RAID drive as it only has one drive.
I have reset to factory settings in December, though that was due to a virus creeping in and ravaging windows, so reinstalled 7 and it now has a cleaner version on, but the problem persists. I've driver swept and reinstalled me drivers with no luck. I have also virus, spyware, trojan, and malware scanned finding nothing. I've torture tested the CPU and it passed with flying colors. I stress tested the memory with much the same result. I replaced the hard drive thinking it could be an issue, and no go there. Then figuring it was a thermal issue I got a friend and we ripped the notebook open and replaced the thermal paste. The fan seems fine and since doing it on the whole it has run quite a bit cooler since the CPU paste was pretty stiff. That seemed to work for about two to three weeks and bam again another blue screen, which is always the same regarding hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe. I know it is a 0x124 error and as such different to diagnose the issue since it is likely hardware related but I dont know what else to try to test figure out the problem.
I upgraded my graphics card driver 2-3 days ago with no problems until today when my laptop crashed couple of times when I was playing LeagueOfLegends, and again when playing a video (using VLC). When I disable my graphics card driver all is fine, but when I play a game with the graphics card enabled I get a blue screen.

I have updated my graphics card and bios.I have tried both ram sticks in individually into the first slot, so unless both ram sticks went bad at the exact same time, they should be ok. I did try to run memtest overnight, but upon waking i found that the pc had restarted.I have cleaned out the pc of dust, and the heat seems fine on cpu, gpu, and mobo.I have run a full av scan with malware bytes and cleared up registry and temp files with ccleaner.

Bought from roommate and replaced his hard drive with a brand new hard drive (2 weeks).
He never had any issues with freezing or BSOD. We've reseated all hardware, completely removed dust, temperatures are consistently between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius, CHKDSK showed 0 bad sectors, Memtest had 0 errors, several antivirus/malware programs have come up 100% clean.
Had no issues the first week with this computer. Components are all of various ages (under 1.5 years), power source is 1250W CoolerMaster, video card is ~7 months old, memory is also ~7 months old, motherboard and processor are ~1.5 years old.
