Jul 29, 2012
I've been getting the BSOD about 2 minutes after startup. During those 2 minutes, I won't be able to open anything and many of my background apps crash. I managed to reach Safe Mode

My OS is Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit. Recently I'm learning to make videos and my routine is editing the raw file in Windows Movie Maker then adding some effects to it in Adobe After Effects. I've been doing fine for months until suddenly the blue screen appeared. At first the problem only occurred occasionally when I tried to import to or export from WMM. But then it happened more and more often even when I was doing nothing until it reached the point where my computer couldn't even make it to windows anymore. I took my friend's advice and reinstall windows but that didn't fix the problem.

Recently I've been getting this BSOD over and over. It happens about 20 seconds after my computer reaches my desktop when I start up. I happens about 95% of the time I start up my computer. The other 5% it starts up normally w/o any problems. ( Which I think is weird)I had recently bought a graphic card (check my specs), but I had it for about 2 months before I started getting the BSOD.

I am getting BSOD after 5 - 10 mins of torrent client startup (Netio.sys ). I face no issues when the torrent client is not running. I tried updating drivers and installing a different torrent client but the issue still persists...

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Bought as a student upgrade edition online. The computer is mostly new. I put it together myself and it hasn't had any problems until now. I had League of Legends up in the background, and I was surfing on Firefox when my mouse cursor...changed. It looks glitchy, becoming white/multicolored lines and looking fuzzy. I know that isn't right, so I immediately restarted my computer. After a few minutes it BSOD'ed, and now I am officially worried.

I started off getting the 0x0000007f BSOD and I think it was relating to my graphics card drivers so I reinstalled the drivers, now I've been getting 0x0000001e BSOD and I haven't a clue what the problem is. These seem to happen only once each day and I can't seem to find any relation to what I was doing at the time.

I've recently installed a new AMD 8150-FX 8-Core processor (Black Edition)Ever since I replaced my old AMD Phenom II 4X 965 Black Edition, with the above mentioned, I've had blue screens. Now this is only happening when I am playing demanding games such as ARMA2, GTA4, Crysis ect ect ect;I also note that it only seems to be happening when I've got the settings to Ultra or highest settings. Now I know that my PC is more than capable of playing today's best games on Max/ Ultra because I was playing with those settings on my old CPU.I'm sure this has got something to do with the new CPU.Below is a copy of what the 'Event Viewer' is telling me:The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.
The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0xfffff800480d47...., 0xfffff800480d479e). A dump was saved in: C:WindowsMEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 072012-33914-01.

I've been recently getting the BSOD when I open almost any program, when I try to open it my display stops and I get the BSOD error STOP: 0x0000001E. The latest thing I would have downloaded with suspicion would be a game torrent. I've gotten a BSOD error STOP: 0x00000050 and error STOP: 0x0000001a, but mainly error STOP: 0x0000001E. I'm thinking that my RAM is corrupted, looks like its a memory problem. I'm currently in Safe Mode with Networking. Anyways, sorry for using Winrar, I didn't have 7-ZIP installed.

If the computer is shut down and disconnected from the power supply for about 5 hours or longer I get a bluescreen right after the windows boot screen. Otherwise it starts without problems and works fine. My workaround for the problem after long shut down is to switch on the power supply, then immediately switch it off and then on again. This works always fine!
My System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 4GB (2x2) 1333-777 RAM ATI Radeon HD 5570
Blue Screen: *** STOP: 0x0000001E (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)
I already used all of the windows debugging, diagnostic tools and Memtest but without success.

Had one of the fake viruses on my machine and so I download and ran Malware Bytes it now appears to boot up fine but within a minute or two of being in the Windows screen it goes to a BSOD. I have booted the machine with the MSDART 7 program and have attached the dump file to see what you all think might be going on. not being able to run the utility from this site but it does not give me enough time on boot before it does the BSOD.

XP 32 bit. Has since had the drive reformatted. The Operating System was a student upgrade version but is now a full retail version (I called Microsoft Support a while back)System is approximately 1 and a half years old (Graphics card only seven months) It is self-built.OS is seven months old. I reinstalled the OS MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT (whatmpted me to call MS) but the BSODs persisted.AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black EditionXFX Radeon 6870 1GBASUS M4A88T-M AM3 AMD 880G XFX 550W Core Editionrus Software: Malware Bytes Anti-Malware AND MSE OFCCPU-Z Validator 3.1(For a little more information)I was receiving constant blue screens throughout the month of December, and after having replaced my HDD and RAM (which didn't fix the problem) I RMA'd my processor back to AMD. I received the new processor in early January and went a full month without any problems. As of a few days ago the bluescreens have returned in full force. At this point I'm thinking it's a problem with the motherboard. But I'm posting here to make sure before I try to RMA something again. While I wait for a reply I will run memtest and a HDD diagnostic.EDIT: Also, I think it's worth noting that motherboard does not seem to be able to provide a steady current to the Vcore. If I set the Vcore to 1.35, it will fluctuate between 1.32-1.35.

I have had a problem with my Gateway NV73 laptop where I would get a BSOD whenever I was viewing video on the internet, viewing pictures in my photo editing program and now after about 5 minutes of just using the internet. The BSOD would come up in a square in the center of the screen and dissappear within seconds. Then the system would still show the power light as on but a blank screen and unresponsive. I would press and hold power button until shutdown and try to restart but only the fan sound was working but nothing else. And after about 30 to 40 minutes later it would boot up just fine, but would then crash after minutes of using it. I tried to get the info needed from the dump files but I literally had to do the whole process stated above many times and I saved the minidump files to my network drive so I could post this on my desktop computer.
Gateway Laptop Model NV73
AMD processor
3GB Ram
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OEM
Laptop is about 17 months old
I attached a text file with the contents of one of the minidump files.

My laptop was working fine until about two days ago. I can't remember doing anything harmful to it specifically but suddenly significant loading issues have manifested. Today it took me about fifteen to twenty minutes simply to get to the stage where the computer was usable. Once it reached this stage, everything is fine and nice and speedy again. I have run virus checks using Malwarebytes and AVG (nothing detected), run CCleaner, defragged and removed all unnecessary start-up programs, resulting in no improvement whatsoever.
My specs are as follows:
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz, x64 Family 6 Model 37 Stepping 2
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 2546 Mb
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 596211 MB, Free - 527235 MB;
Motherboard: TOSHIBA, NWQAA, 1.00, 123456789AB

I recently reinstalled my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS, and had about 120 updates installed when I shut down my computer. The next time I started up my computer, a notification popped up requesting that I install two system updates. I did find it odd that those updates weren't a part of the 120 or so updates. While updating, my power went out and caused my computer to shut down. That's when the problems started, it took forever to start up, and not just to the startup screen. Before that, the fans would be running. There was no display and my mouse and keyboard were off. It'd go on for about 4 minutes. When things started to show up, everything seemed to be in "slow motion", or in other words, all actions made by me were delayed or lagging by at least a minute. I found out during the boot screen when I had choices to start windows normally or not.
The computer also beeped once, which I understand is normal. From beep to the "Starting Windows" screen, it took 2 minutes and 20 seconds. And the "Starting Windows" screen plus the "Welcome" screen took 50 seconds to get to the Desktop screen.

This only started today when I arrived home. Windows would just stop, sounds continued but i couldnt click anything or ctr alt delete. The mouse can still move and after a few more minutes the computer would black screen and SEEM to reboot but be stuck at black screen with no post. I have another hard drive with the same windows installed (but its hd not ssd). and it ran normally without crash so this is not a hardware issue.
