I am running Windows 7 Professional. All the shortcuts (on desktop, on start menu & on taskbar) are showing a spider solitaire image; when clicked upon spider solitaire starts up. However, when I click on properties for a shortcut the correct target address shows (i.e. not the address for spider solitaire but for the intended target of the shortcut).

I am running Windows 7 professional. All shortcuts are showing the spider solitaire image, although the properties show the correct url and the name of the shortcut is correct. When I click on a shortcut spider solitaire starts up. How can I fix this situation so that shortcuts work correctly?

The only change I remember is that I had installed Java VM for a game that required it. This week, out of the blue, any card moves are taking 7-13 seconds to complete. I then tried regular Solitaire and it is having the same problem. This obviously makes playing these games impossible. These are the fixes I have tried so far:
1. Update graphics card driver - states I am using the most current driver.
2. Ran sfc /scannow to search for corrupted files - can was OK.
3. Tried turning games features off then back on in the control panel - no help.

just completed a first-time new Windows 7 PC build. Successful installation of Windows 7 Pro on WD 600GB 10000 system drive. Went back and installed 4 additional HDD. (2) WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM and (2) WD Caviar 7200 500GB HDD from XP system that were used for storage.
BIOS sees all HDDs, but are not viewable in Disk Management.
System Specs:
Antec Nine Hundred
ASUS P6X58D-E MOBO

However, only three are visible in Disk Management. Missing (1) WD 500GB (previously used on WinXP system) and (1) new WD 1T.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit The windows system image backed up on my external hard drive (2TB WD USB3) is not showing while restoring the PC from an image.
The only option available is my hard drive partition on which i also had saved a system image. Though windows recommends External hard drive for backing up image when backing up the system.
I need a little help figuring this out. I made a backup image a while back on my network. Now that I want to re-image, I reboot as requested, wait for it to load, and Windows says it can't find my backup, "if it is on a network, close this window , type the network location."Putting in the network location does nothing, I'm just returned to the screen where it would list the backup image if it had found it, but there's nothing there.Thinking perhaps my NAS was the problem I copied the image onto a portable hard drive, but after rebooting into the restore program, Windows 7 doesn't find the USB drive.
