Copying Windows 7 Spider Solitaire To Windows XP?
Sep 6, 2011My wife really likes the windows 7 version and would like to have that version on our second (older) computer which runs XP. Is it possible to copy the 7 version to XP?

Nov 2, 2012I have a newer HP laptop that I have been playing Spider Solitaire on frequently without problems for the past six months. This week, out of the blue, any card moves are taking 7-13 seconds to complete. I then tried regular Solitaire and it is having the same problem. This obviously makes playing these games impossible. These are the fixes I have tried so far:
1. Update graphics card driver - states I am using the most current driver.
2. Ran sfc /scannow to search for corrupted files - can was OK.
3. Tried turning games features off then back on in the control panel - no help.

The only change I remember is that I had installed Java VM for a game that required it. Nov 4, 2009I have a system Image Backup of my C drive. It is located on a USB portable drive. I want to rename this backup. If I do rename it and later need to use it will I have problems?
That is, I renamed the folder from WindowsImageBackup to WindowsImageBackup_2009_11_03. If I ever needed to use it to restore a file, I'm supposing I can just change it back to WindowsImageBackup and all will be well. But this is a supposition on my part. I would like to find out now if there are problems, rather than later.
I am a little concerned because Windows 7 seems to be picky about the MediaID file. I wonder, for example, if I mount the backup after giving the WindowsImageBackup the new date specific name, I say, I wonder if this is going to affect MediaID. My nightmare is to think I am set up in case of an emergency, only to find that something like this is not in place.

Jun 1, 2012I have a windows 7 install disc (DVD) but am trying to install on an HP100 mini. The mini has no DVD drive and I understand I can get one but I have a USB HDD from which it will boot. Is there a way to move the DVD image to the HDD in such a way that I can boot from the HDD and do the install?
