View 9 Replies View Relatedi just recently installed windows 7 and i have no sound. i have tried many realtek drivers, but they all end with the same result. This device cannot start. (Code 10). The current audio driver i have installed came from the windows update. which is realtek ac97' version 6.0.1.6293. any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated..
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo i installed windows 7 late last night (from xp Pro) and everything seemed to work fine but these audio drivers (seems to be a common enough issue as far as i can tell)
I've downloaded or installed 3 versions of the drivers. The ones that came with the MotherBoard(Abit IL9 Pro) disc, but it gives me an "error -001"
Second I located these "Windows 7 and vista drivers" from their site showing versions 6505 and 6503 - Both of these gets stuck on a screen that says "These drivers cannot be installed because they are no digitally signed" And it just loops when i try clicking on "install anyway."
Last i tried running them from the run menu with string attached to the end (silent install i think it was called) same digitally signed message again.
Any ideas?
Step 1 - locate and save file 7507807.exe or search for the "BA735 USB" driver which contains all the Boston Human Interface Device drivers. Run the file and save the files somewhere useful and easy to find on your PC.
Step 2 - go to Device & Printers; right mouse click your PC's icon and choose Device Installation settings. Choose No and Never .... I like to call this turn off the MS knows best switch. Save changes etc.
Step 3 - Install the BA735 USB speakers to the USB port you intend to leave it on.
Step 4 - Windows 7 should now try to load the driver. Because I didn't do in this order not sure of how this works, but make sure Windows 7 goes to the %7507807CABSWIN2KINF folder and you should see the BAUSBHID.inf driver file. Install this one and none other. If all works the HID entry in Device Manager WILL say "Boston Human Interface Device". You may hahve to reboot after this.
Step 4B (how I got it to work) was to Select the first "USB input Device" from the Device manager HID section. Then choose which driver to install as in the steps above. It must be from the WIN2KINF folder.
Step 5 - In the "Sound" option in control panel make sure the Boston USB AUdio Device is set as the Default Device. Have something playing to test it out, I still had speaker connected directly to the sound card and this just swapped the sound from them to the Boston ones. Voila!
A similar process to this will get these same speaker working in XP.
I have drivers installed, have uninstalled and re-installed them about 6 times now, have the correct plug plugged into my mobo, it is showing sound but neither my front output or back output are playing any sounds through my speakers or my headphones.
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust wanted to relay a little experince I had with a refurbished Dell unit here at work. I ordered a Dell Studio 540 refurb and when it arrived I noticed the analog inputs/outputs weren't recognized in the realtek audio manager. It wouldn't notice any devices plugged into either the front or the back panel. It did recognize the HDMI and Digital inputs.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst i want to apologize for my bad english since i'm italian So.. I just installed windows7 ultimate and suddenly the right audio channel is not working.
1) I want to make clear i've tried different cables and headphones/speakers (i'm a producer so i've got plenty..) and i can't hear the right channel at all.
2) I tried to download latest version of Realtek
3) On audio configuration when i press the configure button when i tried the right audio channel i could hear it very low (like the left channel is at least 10 times higher). that is the only situation in wich i can hear something coming out from my right speaker (and is like a 90w monitor.. so i think i'll hear it otherwise)
4) Since i just installed everything i tried to format and re-install, but i got no results
5) I tried the bit/hz thing but with ANY configuration i don't get any result
6) And now a very odd thing: since i got an external audio interface i tried even with that. right channel still not working.
My Moterboard is asus m2n68-am plus , problem is that in windows 7 my front audio jack not working.ihave tried many latest realtech audio drivers but nothing , the problem is still continue.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently I upgraded my OS from Vista 64 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. With the upgrade my graphics drivers were also updated. The problem is that I'm unable to watch videos or listen to music after about 2 hours of usage. Basically when my computer is turned on it works fine but after a few hours of usage all my video programs crash. I have to continually restart my computer every few hours in order to watch videos and listen to music. I've been googling for about 2 hours to find a solution, no results thus far.I thought it was a registry issue at first and I used a registered version of Registry Easy but the problem was not solved.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a used computer from a random individual. it is a powerspec 7123 and appears to be recently reformatted with fresh install. I get home, hook up the basics (ethernet, keyboard, mouse, monitor) open and reboot it installed about a dozen updates. I am downloading programs like java, flash, and I notice i have no sound and the little speaker icon in bottom right corner has the red X on it. I dont know if it was this way BEFORE the updates or not. I have uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, always get the "driver not properly installed" message. Im sure more information is needed but I am not terribly computer savvy I kinda just fumble around with common sense so please ask for whatever specific info you need and how i might go about getting it (tech programs with logs to post and what not).

First of all my computer specs listed are for my home laptop but my question is for my work PC which I recently upgraded to Windows 7.upgradede my work PC from XP to 7 a few weeks ago. Prior to the upgrade I ran the upgrade advisory tool and I knew I would have a few minor issues (this being one of them) but for the most part everything should be fine. My problem is that I cannot get my audio to work. I have an exact same machine still running XP and according to that, my audio is using a realtec ac 97' audio driver. I have obviously tried searching and downloading of windows 7 compatable drivers for that hardware. but nothing seems to work.
First of all every driver I have found and tried are self installing ".exe" driver files and cannot find anything where I can manually install through the "add new hardware wizard". The problem with the .exe files is that some of them say "this version is not supported my this version of windows" others freeze halfway through installation, and others seem like they have installed correctly giving me a prompt saying so and requiring me to restart, but once restarted, still nothing.I have also tried running each of the driver installations in "XP compatability mode" but still the same problems described above. I had a similar issue with my graphics driver and solved it by installing a legacy driver for it. I have tried the same for this audio driver, but like I stated before I only have .exe installation files and cannot manualy search for the driver to install the legacy driver. I do have the original driver (XP driver) that came with my computer and obviously tried that one, but notihng I have tried has worked for me.
