Just wanted to relay a little experince I had with a refurbished Dell unit here at work. I ordered a Dell Studio 540 refurb and when it arrived I noticed the analog inputs/outputs weren't recognized in the realtek audio manager. It wouldn't notice any devices plugged into either the front or the back panel. It did recognize the HDMI and Digital inputs.
I just formatted my PC and installed Windows 7. I then installed Realtek HD audio driver from Intel website, and installation finished successfully. But the problem is that there is no sound. I go to Device Manager and it says This device is working properly.
my PC specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit CPU Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 Motherboard: Model: DG31PR
A month ago, I got my brand new, very nice Aurora R4 Alienware computer. A week after that the Realtek HD Audio Manager stops working every time I start my computer. It is very annoying. I still get sound, although now after trying to troubleshoot it, Vent tells me Direct Sound can't be enabled because it can't find a driver. Which of course is even more annoying.
The error message says : Quote :Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:RtkNGUI64.exe
I having trouble with my REALTEK HD audio driver on my netbook. This happened after i upgraded my system from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Basic. After I upgraded the system, I have successfully installed all my drivers and they are working normally except my audio driver. I can't get it to work!I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, setting compatibility with my drivers to XP, replace with another driver,
I have Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 and there seems to be a problem with my computer's sound recording system.I want to record music off of the Internet,I have Replay Music, recently the program was working, now it decides to quit.I have the Replay Music software program set at Audio Driver,I tried to uninstall and then re-install it,but, nothing wants to work.
i have downloaded realtek hd audio driver R2.67 from realtek website. but i need realtek hd audio manager. is realtek audio driver and manager are same?
Starting about a month ago, after six to seven months of my laptop working fine, I've been getting video and audio stuttering whenever gaming or watching most HD videos and after messing around with my drivers I realized that whenever my Realtek HD Audio drivers are disabled my video runs flawlessly, but when enabled both video and audio stutter. I'm using a Sony VAIO laptop so I'm assuming that the sound card isn't easily replaceable. I've tried using the newest drivers straight from Realtek's website and also the outdated driver provided by Sony's website, both of which result in the same stuttering. Sony has also replaced the motherboard once and it did not resolve the issue.I'm currently running Windows 7 with 6gb of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce 330M graphics card.
I'm having problems with my sound, I'm getting a very loud buzzing sound and nothing else. My computer is only a year old (self built) and I have never had this problem before, I got home from grocery shopping and it was buzzing.
What I did to try and fix it:
- thought headset was broken, used speakers, still buzzing
- used windows troubleshooting, said my port wasn't being detected, fiddled with it a bit and tried front ports. front ports causing buzzing as well
- checked for driver update, nothing
- uninstalled driver (buzzing stopped)
- re-installed driver and buzzing started again
So, i do think the problem is the driver, but i have no clue what to do about it.
I just reinstalled windows and installed the latest realtek from here Realtek
I checked my playback devices, and it shows a green bar going up and down indicating that the sound should be working, but i can't here jack.
If i switch my sound in playback devices to my 42 inch flat screen, sound comes threw fine... i HIGHLY doubt my speakers are broken as they were working before i reinstalled windows.
Yesterday when I install Windows 7 on my friend PC I realized it has Realtek audio chipset, and though the drivers for this audio chipset were installed, still the Windows has no audio. The issue was caused because the built-in Realtek audio drivers in Windows 7 were not compatible with the audio chipset of the computer which was causing problem. The problem was that windows has older version of realtek drivers installed. After googling I found the latest version of realtek drivers.
I am unable to locate Realtek HD Audio Manager on Windows 7. I have the latest drivers installed, and I can access the Realtek soundcard properties through the control panel, but I cannot seem to find the Realtek HD Audio Manager program anywhere.
my audio outputting was working perfectly fine. After upgraded to windows 7,it just stopped working 3 days ago.i checked the properties and says working fine. Then check on drivers, not all are installed anymore, its like they just went away.the ones that say no driver installed also says not digitally signed.and cannot get the drivers to install?
I am unable to find a suitable driver for my computer. I have a Compaq Presario R3000AP 3.2 GHz 2.5GB Ram and have upgraded to windows 7 with SP1. I did a clean install and all the windows 7 drivers were installed and are compatible except for the Realtek AC'97 audio driver. I downloaded and installed the Realtek AC'97 Codecs from the Realtek website, but unfortunately this was unsuccessful . Then I downloaded and installed the SP29586 Realtek AC'97 Driver version 6.0.1.6305 from the HP website and this was also unsuccessful. Finally I downloaded from the Microsoft website the same Audio Driver version 6.0.1.6305 and installed it but unfortunately again this was unsuccessful. In the Device manager under Sound, video and game controllers it show below "Realtek AC'97 Audio device", version 6.0.1.6305 but in properties is shows "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" Windows 7 does recognize the sound device, but is unable to completely install it, even though under the "driver file details tab" it show drivers installed in the windows directory. I understand that Microsoft does not support the Realtek driver, but there must be some kind of fix or even someone out there that is able to rewrite the driver somehow. Seems a shame to have to get a new computer because of this, as it is very fast with windows 7 even though it is only a Pentium 4.
I installed windows 7 / 32 bit, and I have Realtek HD Audio but no sound from the speakers, test shows equaliser moving and confirms all devices working properly.Cannot understand why
I have both Realtek HD Audio and THX and i am wondering what is the best way to use these two together. I would much rather use just one because i switch between my Logitech surround sound speakers and headphones (that i plug directly into the logitech speaker and not directly into my realtek audio device via the back of the computer) and so i am always having to switch settings around whenever i switch between just speakers or headphonesDoes anyone have some experience with this or knows the best ways to use both of these audio managers or just one? Its rather annoying. Ive thought about just removing THX so i only have to deal with one, but it does seem to make a difference but it could also just be ignorance. On a side note... i dont suppose there is anyway for realtek to recognize that i have inserted a headset into my speaker's headphone jack and adjust its settings.also after updated my realtek driver, i can no longer get the audio manager icon to appear in my notification bar.
When I install Windows 7 64 bit, they have a MS driver for my HD audio, I am wondering if I should install the Realtek drivers provided by Gigabyte? tia BTW, sound seems to work fine with MS driver.
First you have to install this, from Intel: Intel® Desktop Board D910GLDW Audio: Realtek* ALCxxx Driver
Second, install the latest drivers from Realtek, R2.22. I uploaded the zip file to filefront, as their ftp server is running by mouse power. Vista_R222.zip Download File
I hope it will work. for you. I had a lot of trouble finding the solution. Everything has to do with Intel's high definition codec that for some reason Realtek choose not to include in their driver packages.
So to make this story some what short, I installed Windows 7, it kinda hung on installing the creative sound blaster driver so I assumed it was an audio driver issue from the beginning. After a reboot my sound would always make snap crackle pop / static noises and what not. Totally maddening when you watch tons of stuff online / play games / listen to music.
Strange thing whenever I booted into safemode w/ networking my driver for the sound blaster card would always install first thing no problem. Still, tons of static and the like in the background. The main issue, any reboot would give me a bsod to no end unless I booted in safemode, then there was no issue. Disabled different sound cards until I found out it was the Realtek card. Then I checked out the control panel and there was a driver for realtek, sure enough if I uninstalled and rebooted without going into safemode I NEVER got a bsod. Happy days.
Then I thought I had fixed the static issue but so far I have not. I'm using a creative sound blaster audigy 2 zs card. I've installed the latest beta driver for it(when I thought I had fixed it) to no avail. Sorry it ended up being extremely long :P Sadly, none of this happened in XP, but im blaming it all on the drivers.
Yesterday i installed my new Windows 7 64 bits OS on my PC after the 32 bits i used for years.I reinstalled drivers for my Realtek soundcard (Vista_Win7_Win8_R270.exe downloaded on the realtek website and even the 6305_Vista_PG537 to try it) and i have some difficulties using the equalizer whereas before I did not with the 32 bits.Indeed when i'm trying to set the 16k column on the Realtek HD Audio, after entering my choice, the settings of the 16k column change and only for the 16k column ! I tried to register several presets but everytime it goes wrong changing the 16k.
i download realtek 6.0.1 something from its website, my menu for REALTEK is not the same as it used to be on Vista, like changing sound room, and whole Lotta other stuff can anyone please help where to get those?
Apart from the manager where you can manage your connection is there any stability or sound quality improvement. It definately fixes my Unreal engine 3 BSOD's, but why could that be?
