I am a bit interested in plaing 3d games...but as i have a tight budget i was thinking to buy a Nvidia 3d vision kit.Now my concerning is if i use the kit a plug my screen via HDMI will i still be able to play 3d games on my tv.I do have a hp pavilion dv6-1130sa and a samsung lcd!

All NVIDIA drivers and NVIDIA applications are installed too.When I double-click any 3D picture file (*.jps file), the NVIDIA 3D Vision Photo Viewer is then called;however, the app doesn't seem to find the display adapter of nvidia and generates an error:"primary display's adapter does not support nvidia 3d vision".I tried to fix the problem using the NVIDIA's Control Panel by setting the gt540m as the preferred gpu, and rebooting the computer a few times, but it does not the error keeps on popping up. I've also associated the gt540m as the preferred gpu specifically for the /NVIDIA 3D Vision Photo Viewer/ app, but also that doest even after a few reboots.I read somewhere one should install the NVIDIA Optimus app but I prefer to solve the problem manually and not let the problem be solved in a hidden way by some other app---Optimus in this case
View 5 Replies View RelatedI only get this bsod when I try to run a game that uses the unreal engine. I have done clean install of all video drivers using driver sweeper and the latest drivers from nvidia.com. Ignore audio drivers, i am using second pre xp sound card for studio purposes.

since today I've got Windows 7 RC1 64Bit installed on my PC & I've got a cruel problem.
I have an iiyama Vision Master Pro 454 and a desktop resolution of 1280x1024 with 100hz - until today!
But, it seems to be, that this is not possible with Windows 7.
Every time if I try to want to set the hz value to more than 85, the monitor automatically turns the value back to 85.
In Counter Strike 1.6 it is the same. I've played with a resolution of 640x480 with 150hz. But now, everytime I start the game, it is in the window mode with 60hz.
In the Nvidia System control there was an option where you can configure user-specific resolutions to get higher frequencies (like in CS 1.6, 150hz), but it's impossible to change there anything.
I've already installed the latest Nvidia drivers for my 8800GTX and the monitor drivers as well.
I have found an tutorial, but it doesn't helped me as well: GF8800GTX / Vista 64-bit / refresh rates > 100Hz ?
Maybe someone has an another idea to help me?
When I try to open it I get this: Could not load file or assembly 'CLI.Implementation' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. I have tried rebooting, reinstall several times and I have no idea what to do. I installed the latest drivers, but it still is not working. BF3 works, but crashes.

Whenever I play Skyrim, after I quit, my taskbar lags and AMD VISION Engine Control Center freezes upon loading and doesn't let me click anything, so I have to kill it by right clicking on the icon. The only fix to both of these problems is restarting, which is kind of annoying. I've tried killing explorer.exe and reloading it through Task Manager, but that didn't work.
I know that this is a pretty vague explanation, but do you have any advice? I'm using a Radeon HD 6850, AMD Phenom ii x6 1065T 2.9Ghz (with TurboBoost), 8 GB 1333 RAM, nothing overclocked, and I've got the latest Catalyst/AMD/ATI video card drivers. I launch Skyrim through Steam, and I run it at almost max settings at 1920x1080. No other game I've tried has caused this. Is it possible that my problem might lie in TurboBoost, my graphics settings, or is it merely a software glitch that might get fixed later?

The autostart function is not working properly. When introduced a CD Rom into the drive, it has all the autostart functions for movies, pics, documents, but instead of starting the games directly, It allways ask me to open the file, movies or pics, but the game never starts automatically as It used to do in the past Windows versions, and in Windows 7 BEFORE SP1. It's imposible to play games that require the insertion of the disc into the CD Rom Drive, for the same reason.Im running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and have a LG Super Multi RwDVD +R DL Light scribe multirecorder.
View 1 Replies View Relatedok so i have a problem thats been driving me insane. my toshiba F50 was working totally fine until suddenly during games my GPU started overheating quickly during games (Was not doing this before) i noticed that my fan didnt seem to be spinning as fast as before. i cleaned it still no avail, tried riva tuner and ntune and all of that jazz and all of them have the fan control options greyed out? (cannot use them)i noticed that when i start the laptop the POST test on the fans guns the fan to 100% speed so i know its capable of doing it. it seems like the fan doesnt know to speed up when it gets hot and it keeps shutting my system down and i reallllly dont feel like damaging my GPU. i tried rolling back my drivers and running the latest drivers.

I've recently added a second Nvidia GTX 560 Ti graphics card to my system running in SLI mode however on random occasions on boot-up, the graphics drivers are not being loaded so I have to load them manually. I am also running dual monitors so when the boot problem occurs all my desktop settings are thrown out the window because without the drivers the system only recognizes one monitor. I am assuming this is all caused by my settings are not being saved on close down.

Apparently, AMD isn't going to be updating the driver for the 4800 series to Windows 8 (which really ticks me off...). That is why I'm considering nVidia for the first time. Few things I want to do with a new card:
- Gaming at 1920x1080 graphics maxed, or close to at frame rates of at least 60.
- Some bitcoin mining (nothing serious, just curious about it), and possibly some other GPGPU related stuff.
Also, the card needs to work well in both Windows and Linux x64 as I use both. The only nVidia Ive ever worked with was an old Quadro FX 1400, which I put into a Dell Optiplex GX280, and it runs great under Linux and Windows.
Okay so this graphics card has been used for say, a year? Then one day the fan started malfunctioning. It would spin for a bit, then stop. sometimes it still twitches a bit. Recently I cleaned the card but still nothing.

View 12 Replies View Relatedi have just built a new rig and i'm having a couple of problems. as i said in the title i have a msi 560 on a asus p67 mobo with a intel i5 2500.i've had the computer for about 2 months now and a few days ago, when i started the computer, a message saying "disk read error, push ctrl + alt + delete" came up. i restarted my comp' a few times and it eventually booted. then today the same message came up and i went through the same process and i got the computer to boot again.this i could deal with however, my computer now has been on for about 16 hours (no big deal) but now it wont play Internet videos and huge artifacts and random triangles and things com up in games like battlefield bc2. the reason i put the time up here is that when i first started the computer it was doing video things fine.
