NVIDIA NForce 6150SE And NVIDIA MCP61 Drivers

I got motherboard: Asus m2n-mx se plus. Video Card : nVIDIA nForce 6150SE (6100-430), Onboard Audio : nVIDIA MCP61 , D-Link DFE-520TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter .

My Motherboard comes with Vista drivers, but I heard that even that are creating problems for video and audio. Should I download any specific drivers beforehand?

I had some problems installing the Nvidia Networking Controller that comes with this package (Device failed to start), so I rolled back to the Microsoft driver. Any help with this would be nice as my Network performance is not what it should be using this driver.

NVidia NForce Network Problems
I hope that's the reason this isn't working...

When I start up my computer (Windows 7 Ultimate (not the beta)) My Internet connection thing says it can't connect because I'm trying to link to multiple networks. Well, that would make sense... if I were using a wireless network. I'm using a network cable to router and cannot access my own network. But even that's not the problem. I don't care about my network. I just want to connect to the Internet.

Well, to get a quick fix I must disable my network device, and re-enable it. Then it acts as if there was never a problem.

Today, before I did that I wanted to see what the problem was, so I opened the status of my network connection. I am receiving all kinds of bytes but not sending any. So then I disable and refresh my network connection and it all works.

I fixed this in the beta, but forgot what to do now that it's been 3 months. Can anyone help?

NVIDIA NForce Networking Controller
Upgraded to Windows 7 16 bit last night.  My NIC cards worked fine under Vista, can't find any updated drives that would fit with Windows 7.  The problem is that I keep losing internet connection.  I run the trouble shooting step offered by the default windows options and it basically bounces the NIC and it comes back up, but will drop again in a few minutes.  Just adding this to discussion to see if there known driver issues or if this needs to be added to the list.

NVidia NForce Ethernet Driver Issues
I had this same issue on the RC but am now getting it on the retail.

Windows 7 Pro x64

Asus P5N32-E SLI with nFocrce 680i chipset

On RC, if i installed the nForce driver package then my ethernet would randomly fallover under high network activity (only internet would fall, LAN would remain) To fix i would right click network icon in system tray and select troubleshoot problems, this would then fix it.

But it did it so often that i ended up removing the nforce drivers and letting windows 7 use its own driver, after which i never had a problem again.

Now i'm on retail im getting similar things although now its not happening with high network activity, it just happening randomly.

For retail i'm using the brand new nForce v15.51 drivers and its still randomly killing my network connection, but this time everything is falling over, LAN and net.

Is anyone else seeing this sort of behaviour when using the nvidia nForce driver package?

Its really irritating and i'm very suprised nVidia have still not fixed such a glaring bug.

NVIDIA NForce Network Adapter Problems
I have a problem with my Internet connection on Windows 7 x64 build 7600. My Internet connection is dropping randomly almost every day. I have an Asus M3N H/HDMI motherboard with NVIDIA nForce Network Adapter. I tried numerous drivers (even drivers for Vista x64), disabling IPv6 (with the DisabledComponents registry entry), disabling Receive Side Scaling and many other possible solutions with no luck. I have a high-speed Internet connection through LAN. My IPs are set by the DHCP but I don't have access to the Internet even when the IPs are configured correctly.

Sometimes, the DHCP allocates strange IPs like 169.xxx. or 192.168.xxx. , my default being 89.47.212.250 for my IP and 89.47.212.1 for the default gateway. The strange thing is that the connection can work for like 9-12 hours without any drop and the next day I don't have access right after I turn on my PC and it stays down for random periods of time (10 minutes, 30 minutes or hours). Also, if i have Internet access and I disable and enable the adapter the connection is lost but my IPs and DNS are fine.

I've uploaded a printscreen with the ipconfig /all command. Hope someone else had a similar problem and solved it.

Driver For Nvidia Nforce 630a / 7050pv
i have a mother board with nvidia nforce 630a/7050pv chipset. Windows 7 completed installation, unfortunately drivers were not complete (coprocessor not installed).  I had to manually install vista drivers to make it work

would the retail version also need third party drivers for such chipset?

NVIDIA NForce Networking Controller Issue
Ever since I installed the 64bit Windows 7, I keep losing Internet access. It will be downloading at high speed just fine, and then, I will use the browser, or sometimes just be using the PC, and it will lose the access. I get the yellow warning light. I tell it to troubleshoot the problem, and it will end up resetting the network controller to solve the issue. Then when I stress it again a little later, it dies again (It died because Windows Media Center was searching the hard drives for media files, for example).

I was running Window Vista Premium 64bit, previously, without it ever doing this. My CPU is an AMD 64 dual core 4400+ running at 2.30GHZ, on an ASUS M2N-E Motherboard, with 2gig DDR800 memory. The processors are Nvidia nForce 570 ULtra media communications processors with Gigabit LAN controller. I have mutlple hard drives installed, both sata and ide, with heavy duty power supply. Like I said, never had this trouble with XP, or Vista. Is this a driver issue? Is there a problem with Nvidia network drivers under Windows 7? I Hope someone has a solution.

Nvidia Nforce Networking Controller - Code 10
Upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. After installation Nvidia nforce Networking Controller stopped working. It is recognized under Device Manager but gives ' device cannot start. (Code 10)'

It's a Compaq Presario f755us with Nvidia chipset Nforce 560 and Southbridge Nforce 560. I've tried several different drivers as well as the drivers for Nforce 560 on Nvidia's website(NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.23 WHQL) however all have been ineffective. Installed the windows vista 32 bit versions of all drivers (also tried two xp drivers).

Nvidia NForce 680i SLI MB Ethernet Port Not Detected
I just formatted/installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64. I have, as the topic suggests:

Nvidia nForce 680i SLI motherboard

I downloaded the drivers from Nvidia's web site for the Win_7_64 drivers for this motherboard, but it will not allow me to install the Ethernet drivers when installing the WHQL download.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea of how to get my PC back on the intarwebz?

Edit: After looking through the .exe with all of the motherboard drivers, I've found that they do include an Ethernet driver, but during the installation, I only have the option of installing the 'Nvidia Storage Driver', none of the other components are even available to be installed.

Installation Issue / Port NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NForce 630i
ASUS Intel Pentium dual CPU E2220 @ 2.40 GHzMemory 2GBSATA 70GB hard discNVIDIA 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i motherboard integrated graphics card.

Windows 7 RC installation works fine when using the analog port of the NVIDIA 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i graphics card. The same installation using the digital port of the card, works initially, until the first reboot is required.

After the reboot the Windows progress bar is displayed, but then the monitor goes blank. The PC appears to beoperational but is inaccessible without the digital port working. The only work around I have found is to install using the analog port and then swap the graphics driver and port todigital after the install of Windows 7 is completed.

Upgrade Issue - Nvidia NForce System Management Controller Needs To Be Updated
I have XP sp3 and trying to upgrade to Windows 7 RC. This PC has a clean install of XP sp3 and every time I do the CUSTOM Win 7 install it gets almost all the way complete and they says installation could not be completed and restores the previous version of the OS. I downloaded Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and all things "passed" with the exception of: Nvidia nForce System Management Controller" needs to be updated.

What is this and how can I update this? Another question is regarding the video card. This pc is using the on-board video connection and does not have a dedicated video card. Could this be my problem? Any thoughts?

Nvidia / NForce LAN Issues - Network Unavailable After A Cold Boot
Is anyone else seeing a problem with their Nvidia NForce Mobo LAN when the machine is either booted from cold or rebooted and windows starts up but the network is unavailable.   The problem is intermittent, but I can't quite find any pattern to the problem.  I had the same problem occasionally with Windows Vista x64 and I was hoping the problem would be resolved in Windows 7 but alas it’s just happened in Windows 7 x64 for the first time today.

Now unlike in Windows Vista, I’ve not installed the Nvidia drivers, its just the drivers that ship in the box with Windows 7.  In Windows Vista if I got the issue I could occasionally disable the device from Device Manager, then re-enable it, however sometimes disabling the device would just hang the Device Manager window, so it was pot luck.  I’ve not tried working round the issue like this in Windows 7 yet, but a reboot usually fixed the problem.

My current mobo is Gigabyte m750sli-ds4 (rev1), however I did also see the problem on my ABIT AN9 32X SLI so it not specifically this hardware and feels more like a software issue?

Does anyone have any answers on this particular issue and/or some fix?

NVIDIA Driver Update For NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT - WDDM 1.0
Every time I try to install "NVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT (Prerelease - WDDM 1.0)" through Windows Update the installation fails. I have the nVidia control panel but the drivers don't seem to work properly when I run games (particularly Warhammer Online).

I have tried the current Vista64 but City of Heroes gets a series of rolling bands that scroll up and down the screen. Is there some other way for me to get the updates properly installed?

Problems With Nvidia Drivers
I'm using the RC 7100 build and I have a persistent problem with my Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver (both 181.72 and 185.85). The latter is the newest update on the Nvidia website for windows 7.

To describe what is going on, the best way to say is that my screen will go black, then i'll get a message as the screen restarts saying this Kernel mode driver failed and was sucessfully restarted. This repeats for about 3 times, then my computer just goes black, i get the Blue screen of death and my comp restarts. Sometimes it can't even fully restart and keeps cycling until finally it randomly suceeds. I'm pretty sure this is a driver issue, but i've tried all the drivers thus far and have had no success.

So, are there any people who have this same problem and or no a solution? I noticed there are more up to date RC builds, (the newest being the leaked 7201) and I was hoping there was a hidden fix in there. Any word on this?

Nvidia Drivers Capping Hz At 85 Hz
I've been trying to get my 19" samsung CRT monitor to reach 100hz with windows7, but it seems to be impossible.

I can't find a driver that works for the monitor online, so I made one with RivaTuner, however I can't reach 100hz in resolutions that I know are supposed to get there.

Is this a Nvidia driver issue?

I currently have the latest official one from the Nvidia page.

Bug On NVIDIA Drivers
Rafael Rivera found a serious bug in the last batch of NVIDIA drivers on Windows 7.

The bug causes the driver to repeatedly open new handles without closing them. A check with Process Explorer shows over 100,000 handles after a while.

This will use up a lot of memory and eventually cause a crash of the video stack which will disable aero and games.

Rafael has found the sollution to be, shutting off the NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service. This service is in charge of outputting stereoscopic (real 3D) graphics to supported monitors and glasses, however it is useless to those who don't have that type of technology.

The Forced Nvidia Drivers
Okay so I got pushed these crappy and I do mean crappy Nvidia drivers. They have made my resolution ____, I've tried making custom resolutions and it wont take it I've tried forcing old drivers and they wont take them now it keeps pushing these crappy drivers. I'm using a 22" 1680 X 1050 monitor, Nvidia 8600 gts oc 2 funny thing is the Original drivers that came with the beta worked great no problems. I'm really disappointed in windows forcing these drivers through.

This makes me want to go and Get an ATI card and stick it in and see if that works.  Just one more thing then I'll stop my QQing about these really really bad drivers that got pushed out. If you completely Uninstall the Card and just use a VGA device I can get the right resolutions on the screen gee go figure. Any help on getting the old drivers installed again would be wonderful.
