While loading windows 7 64 bits ultimate i have several, if not many, crashes. Although loading my other system (XP SP3 32bit) don't have any crash by loading it (sometimes).i'm kinda tired of this problem, it annoys me and keeps me wasting time
I am running windows 7 ultimate 32 bit installed on a partition size of 270GB.The system worked for two months. Now when I start the pc, after the bios screen I get "Windows is loading files with a white completion bar.As soon as the bar gets completed or is full the system restarts.I tried start up repair from the install dvd using repair my computer. The message is failed to repair.Could not find os loader. Its a single boot system without third party boot loader.Tried restoring with an image backup. There is no difference. When memory diagnosis is selected from the repair options the pc restarts and the windows memmory diagnosis tool runs without any errors and on completion of the test windows boots normally. But if I restart or shutdown the pc the next time the system reboots after windows is loading files.I have interchanged the memory modules to and from another system to confirm the memory. The memory modules does not have any problem.
I had to perform a force shut down today, upon restart win 7 attempted to load up but got stuck on start up page, again performed force shut down to see if it would load up but with no prevail. if left for 40 min or so it will finally get to login/password screen but after password input nothing happens.I have tried start up repair F8 but again after completion the screen freezes. also where there where more options such as safe mode these have know gone and i am only left with start windows normallyrepair modei did carry out a safe mode but it froze half way through and know that option has gone.i have no backup disk but i did backup win 7 to my external hard drive but am unsure wheter i can load from this.my lap top details are as follows.
i followed the same issues and solution shown here:[URL]..but the problem is, when i go to that folder using command prompt, i dont see any cachecat.cache file, only driver.rtl in codeintegrity.
I just re-installed windows 7 to my pc after a recent update caused it to completely crash. Now, about an hour after i turn on my computer it randomly decided to reboot (but not before flashing the BSOD of course).
Two days ago, my system started Blue screening for the first time since I built it ~ 2 months ago. It first started happening while playing Diablo3 and streaming using the streaming software Xsplit. broadcaster, and now it has happened while Idle with nothing running ( while I slept overnight ).All windows updates are installed.Latest drivers for my video card are installed.
When I get the login screen, I just see the buffer LED glowing for 1 minute. Then it calms down. Then after logging in, the buffer LED keeps glowing for 5 minutes and my computer is terribly slow. If I do nothing through all this operation and just wait, all will be okay. So usually I can use my laptop after 8 minutes from turning it on.On the other hand, if i directly start opening applications before the buffer LED turns off (sometime only firefox), I directly get the bsod. Each time I get a different code for it. Why is this happening? Please find below the laptop specs and things that I have tried. [code]
I have a computer which gives me a blue screen when I turn it on. Sometimes this will happen 4 times in a row and others I can't even get the blue screen. I didn't record the error code down but I am trying to replicate the issue and when I get the screen I will update this post.
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x86 - the original installed OS on the system? Windows 7 Enterprise - an OEM or full retail version? OEM - What is the age of system (hardware)? 3 years - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 2 months
Well I will get right to it. Its a desktop I built about 4 mths ago. I was goofing off all day, ran perfect. I got my package from Tiger.com, yay new memory. I also bought a drawing tablet that came w/ photoshop ele 8 and artrage. I promptly shut down my system, installed the new stick of matching memory, Corsair DDR3 4g 1600mhz, in slot two and four, with the old stick. I was only running one stick due to an order error. I reboot. The system recognizes it, runs fine. I install photoshop ele 8 and art rage along with an update to java. So far no problems. I turn the system off to plug in the drawing tablet per the instructions it came with. When it goes to reboot, i get to the windows loading screen, the animation just starts to load when i get a flash BSOD then the moniter shuts off to no signal and the computer just sits there fans and all running. I am using Win 7 home premium 64. I can get into BIOS. I have run the launch repair. I have tried putting the memory back to the previous configuration. I have run the memory diagnostic tool. I have tried system restore but no points to restore. I have tried to repair install with Windows disc, says disc is incompatible with current version, its the same disc i used to install windows the first time. I have tried to reinstall windows twice, still does it. I have attempted to make a repair disc, didnt work. If you can tell me how to get dump files from this state i would be happy to do so. If it helps at all i am using an SSD as my main hard disk, i have a second drive but there is nothing on it atm. I am just at a loss, i know a good bit about computers but not far enough, lol. My desktop is my baby and i really wanna get it up and running again.
days ago i had BSOD crash when i was playing online poker. I did not launch any specific apps, only apps and programs that i usually useAlso i checked the error number, it's 0x00000050- Windows 7 x64- not original installed OS- Age of system (hardware) is 2 years- Age of OS installation 2 years- Did not re-install the OS Attaching necesary filesI had BSOD crash only one time but i want to prevent new crashes.
i keep getting blue error screens different types of errors but all having the same crash address been using bluescreen viewer to see the errors..iv tried as much as i can by updating drivers and checking if windows is up to date looked on other forums but just want a simple answer to what the problem actually is.iv uploaded the health report and the crash files
I'm not sure steam had anything to do with the crash the computer was idle and not really being stressed. The computer and its parts are all relatively new, some parts up to a year old. All drivers are up to date, as far as im aware. I think the bsod code was something lik 0x000000124. Any idea what caused it ? Driver or hardware related?
Since I bought a new phitronics motherboard, a core i5 processor and 8 gigs DDR3 ram, I've had over nine thousand BSOD's, each with a different error at completely unrelated times.
I've done a new install of win7 ultimate & im getting random reboots & often explorer.exe crash's which force me to reboot often. I have included a bsod dump file & a screen shot of the cpu-z of the memory & hopefully someone can let me know what the problem might be,
I just installed a new graphics card and a new power supply... Now I get these random restarts. When I come back, I'm notified rhat Windows has recovered from an unexpected shut down.Really frustrated at this point. What could this be?101412-60060-01.dmp 101412-62962-01.dmp 101412-64241-01.dmp
I've had three BSOD's in three days now all while playing either Skyrim and Dead Island. I have the three individual crash dumps attached. The video card I am using is new to the system and has had its drivers updated to Nvidia's latest (not those from the manufacturer's homepage). My guess is that I'm either having some kind of conflict with drivers here or that my PSU is inadequate but without being able to decipher the information in the dumps I can't tell. BSOD's are not my specialty at all but I don't want to simply ignore this.
I have recently had a crash dump file appear in c:\windows\minidump I am uploading it here, for those who may to review it, however, i cannot specify what the cause of this problem may have been?
I just bought two identical Asus Desktop computers. The first one works fine. On the second computer, when I login into Windows, I receive a BSOD (that happens right after I enter the login password). It happened on my very first startup attempt so I did not install anything. (I only managed to select my language and create a user in the Windows setup process). I tried uninstalling the trial version of TrendMicro but it did not solve the problem.
I recently got into ripping Blu-ray movies and encoding them. However I have recently had a few blue screens with restarts. I use MakeMKV and it usually runs fine and doesn't give my problems. However, I have had problems encoding the MKV files with Handbrake v0.9.5. Here are my system specs:
Windows 7 64-bit Pro SP1 Intel Core i5-2500K (overclocked to 4 GHz) 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B) ASRock Pro3 Gen3 Mobo (latest BIOS update 2.30) Mushkin Chronos 120GB SSD Seagate Barracuda 1TB HD Nvidia GTX 560TI graphics card (slightly overclocked, can't remember speed) Cooler Master Hyper 212+ CPU cooler
The case also has plenty of fans (7 to be exact). 2 intake fans in the front, 1 intake in the side, 1 intake on the front of the cooler, 1 outtake on the rear of the cooler, and 2 outtake on the back and top. So the tower is staying cool. I'm running AXTU Hardware Monitor during the encoding and temps are staying steady around 50C, which I've heard are normal. The encoding is about 50% now and so far no crashes or spikes in temperature.I thought the memory may be the culprit and I ran MemTest86. It returned one error after a few hours of running. I have not taken the RAM out to test each module or clean the slots. The timing is set at 9-9-9-24 and I dialed down the speed to 1333 from 1600.
i was playing a game in google chrome and also had a Internet video open in another tab. suddenly my screen went black, windows aero effects were off for a few seconds, then they went back up. white bars started to appear randomly on the screen, an error popped up that the video driver had crashed. after a couple of seconds it looked like it was getting back but then the screen went black again and the bsod appeared.
Well this time it isn't a hardware problem. Like I said, I've been starting to get random, yes completely random, nvidia driver crashes. My screen will flash a few times and eventually just BSOD. Basically I've tried reinstalling drivers and rolling back drivers but the problem persists. I installed vista on a separate partition thinking there was some kind of weird conflict and whadya know, Vista, of all things!!, works perfectly.
That's how I know it's software. So my question to you guys is, is there anyway for me to fix this without reinstalling 7? I have a lot of data on there and it would be a major hassle for me.
Secondly, is there any way to reinstall 7 but to keep all of my settings and files? Like literally just replacing the OS files.
If there isn't I guess I just have to face the music and copy everything to the other partition and then copy it back ..
while I was on wireless, which I think the problem might originate from, I had 3 BSODs within a span of 30 minutes. Two of the BSODs were linked to opening Netflix on Firefox and the other was caused by opening a Flash app on Chrome. If I recall correctly, the last BSOD error was something akin to Driver not less or equal? Regarding the dump files, when I went to double check that a dump file was created upon BSOD, I noticed that the option to have it overwrite was checked, so I'm not sure if the previous two BSOD dump files were recorded. Some of my previous older BSODs (which the issue was solved) were included in the folder, I believe, since the program just captured everything in the minidump folder.
i have recently had a crash dump file appear in c:windowsminidump.i am uploading it here, for those who my wish to review it.however, i cannot specify what the cause of thes problem my have been.
I recently had a BSOD, but it does not appear in my Reliability Monitor OR in my Minidump files. It was within that last couple of days.Where can I find out more about this BSOD? Do all BSOD encounters log information someplace, or are some crashes too intense to even log crash reports? I have attached my SF Diagnostic Tool results, but I'm really not sure what good it will do because it is not showing the crash I am talking about. The crash I experienced was within the last few days (although I have regular BSOD experiences that I'm trying to resolve as it is).
