Stop Receiving Emails In Live Mail?
Nov 18, 2008My daughter used my laptop to set up a Live Mail account for herself. Now every time I switch on my computer I have to type in my User Name and Password as normal but I get a message immediately underneath saying I have X-number of unread emails. These turn out to be emails to my daughter. If she logs in then her email only shows the recent emails that she has not read. My login shows ALL of them. It is becoming frustrating having to delete all her emails. I assume she has set up a forwarding facilty in her account. How can this be switched off so I don't get her emails.

Mar 23, 2008I imported my mailboxes from XP when I installed Vista a while back. I don't know if it has anything to do with the problem, but figured I would mention it. It seems to only happen when I put an email into a folder for organization (work stuff, personal, etc), but not in the mail inbox folder.
Just about all emails in that folder show the same content as one seemingly random email in there as well. On the main list where it shows the sender and subject file, everything is fine. But when I click on one of them, they all show the exact same content in the preview pane and if I double click it to open it. The same sender, subject and body. It even duplicates attachments.
Duplicate Contacts In Internet Mail
Mar 23, 2008I am maintained Vista laptops for two elderly people and set them up on Internet Mail, they were on OE before. They like that it grabs contacts for them, the problem is that it duplicates them relentlessly: say Fred emails you often you get a Fred contact a (1) Fred, a (2) Fred, etc... For the life of me I can't find were to fix this, the knowledge base offers me the right choices but finds no documents. Does anybody have this problem? I can easily download Thunderbird for them but I'm trying to keep these laptops as simple as possible.

Usually I get two copies, on rare occasions three or four, and last weekend I got more than 30 copies of a single email. I have already turned off the anti-spam feature of my anti-virus program. Is there any way to change the settings so I get only one copy of each email? I am running Vista Home Premium, 32 bit, with 3GB of memory on Dual CPU E2180 @ 2 GHz.

My inbox is no longer getting my normal emails and I've tried blocking this person but it still sends the emails. Sep 11, 2009This is driving me nuts - I CANNOT stop Outlook displaying emails in my Inbox by size. This behaviour is new - previously, they were shown by the sender, and even though the sort criterion is displayed as 'Arranged By: From', I cannot get rid of these maddeningly irritating and totally unwanted '2KB', '10KB', etc. If you would like to know what steps I have taken, I have: Tried to reset the criteria about 8 times Ran System Restore twice Uninstalled Office in it's entirety and reinstalled.
