Well it seems very simple but I kind stuck on this, so I need help to have my colors and appearnace back in Windows Vista Premium. For some reason the colors of the menu and the taskbar did change. To make it easy look at the attached screen shot of this.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWindows Photo Gallery doesnt display the proper colors in pictures and I can't figure out why. At first, I figured it was just a flaw somewhere adn I didn't worry too much about it because everything else looked fine. Just the photo gallery was messed up. Then, I replaced my geforce 7600 with a newer 8800 gts and reinstalled my OSs fresh for my annual clean up and same thing. Photo Gallery displays goofy colors. I'll provide an attachment for details. View 9 Replies View RelatedI love Age of Empires 2 (I own the Conquerors Expansion, Gold Edition). Only problem is that I recently got Windows Vista and have been experiencing these three problems:
1) The colors sometimes get messed up and the graphics become skewed. The most noticable example of this is when the grass becomes mixed with red blotches.
2) I'm having trouble connecting online with other players, regardless of their operating systems. My friends and I used to quickly and easily connect together but now the systems (mine and theirs) tend to crash.
3)Regular crashes about an hour or two into playing
i have a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE and running Vista Pro 32 Its been 3 weeks i lost the color red. Mind you it came and went a few times. Also in the NVIDIA control panel i can adjust the other colors but red doesnt react. I have tried many drivers and still no fix.

My photo's, desktop, web sites etc are all normal. My SIL said my Cb and Cr are getting swapped, quick time, media center and windows media player 10 and irfanview players, all are the wrong colors. If I need to install codec's I'll need some step by steps where to get them and how to install them.

I simply want to change the display names of the files to colors such as BLUE, GREY, etc., just like I can do on the MAC O/S for the past 5 years.
I do NOT want to use any third party software file managers. There must be a way to do it in Windows since APPLE has been doing it for 60 months now. I have a Dell Inspiron loaded with vista home premium which came with a very convenient top toolbar. My hard drive crashed so it was recently replace and windows was reinstalled. How do I get the toolbar back?
It had shortcuts to word processors, calculator, pictures, music movies, etc..

View 9 Replies View RelatedWith IE 8 and Google Toolbar. I installed IE 8 for Vista 64 Bit. When I installed the Google Toolbar, it showed up at the installment, but then when I relaunched IE 8 Google toolbar was not there. It also was not in the "Add Ons". But was in my Programs. I uninstalled and reinstalled two more times and it will not show up in IE 8. I had MSN as my home page , so I had to change the home page to Google in order to have my mail. I have gmail. So what is wrong here?

However, today I was wasting time playing Sid Meiers Railroads and the game crashed. After the crash the bar at the top of my computer screen was missing. It was like this tool/task bar(this one isn't specifically mine): It has Categories and the recycle bin in it. Can someone explain how I can get the toolbar back. View 7 Replies View RelatedI can do a ctrl+alt+delete and bring up the task manager and kill the process BUT my desktop has lost the task bar and starting orb. Moving the mouse top or bottom or to either side does not 'unhide' the toolbar so that I can access my USB drive with rkill.com (a process to kill this malware) on it. Have tried booting into Safe Mode and the viral program appears there also, but once again cannot access the Start Orb or Task bar. I have no knowledge of any 'DOS' commands should I be able to go to safe mode with cmd prompt. Using Vista Home Premium.

Now i can re-organise them such as in image 2, but as soon as i restart, the files sort to alphabetical. I've been using Vista since the public beta's and not experienced the problem until i just reinstalled last week.

It's not a huge problem, but i found it very annoying when i am working and need to bring up something quickly while the screen is filled with 100 windows.
When I first got my new Sony Vaio model VGN-NS30E, I installed Comodo Security Suite. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I wasn't happy with it and tried to uninstall it. I now run AVG free edition, and Windows firewall. I also now use Firefox browser, and am happy with my set up. I don't really like internet explorer, so don't use it. When I installed Comodo, the HopSurf Toolbar was bundled with it. I did my homework after the event, and found, ( online ) issues with HopSurf

i have been unable to look at certain aspects of my toolbar. everytime i pass over my clock, battery meter or network status bar and try to preview them, windows explorer shuts down and has to restart. ive run numerous system restores and they all have failed, as well as security sweeps and nothing seems to be able to find the problem.

i.e. under older windows you could:
If you add one or two toolbars to your Windows taskbar, regain some space. Right-click on your created taskbar and on the popup menu that appears, uncheck "Show Title." This removes the title description for your taskbar. If you know the programs on the taskbar by their icon and don't need to see the names of the programs, uncheck "Show Text" as well.
Does this no longer exist in Vista and that I can no longer reclaim the space?
On my desk window my lower toolbar is no longer accesable. The on with the clock, network e.d. in. Also the quick launch icons the minimized windows are no longer clickable. If I click on it I recieve the error sound. Only the windows main icon works on the lower left side. It is very irritating to need to open a window that is minimized via the taskmanager to activate the window. What's wrong with my toolbar and how can I restore it?
