Microsoft Paint : Pixels Are All Mixed
Mar 23, 2008Sometimes when I save an image in paint, if I open the image again, the pixels are all mixed together where different colors are close to each other.

LCD Stuck Pixels
Feb 10, 2009I just bought a brand new computer couple of weeks ago and today I noticed two stuck pixels on my brand new Samsung 2232GW screen!!!
I know that in order to return it, it has to have 7 stuck pixels, so I gues I'm stuck with it....
The problem is that I tried massaging them, tapping and even hitting and shaking to no avail.I tried the softwares like UndeaPixels and JScreenfix but they don't work, I still have two stuck pixels in the center of my beautiful 22'' one blue and one red!
Pixels To Inches With Digital Photos
Apr 28, 2008Does anyone know if there is a way to convert pixels to inches using a digital camera? What I am trying to say is, i have as an example a photo that is 286 KB with a 300 dpi resolution and 2921x2100 pixels. Some one E-maild a picture as an attachment that was 2.01mb, 180 dpi resolution and 3264x2448 pixels. I am trying to understand why their picture 2.01 mb and when I take pictures I never get over 600kb.

There are 4 people in my house who use this pc and hotmail and msn sends me directly to live mail, where the accounts are all mixed up together so that any new messages for me are sandwiched between others, even though it says I am logged in. My own fault for accepting updates to msn.

Jun 11, 2009I'm using a NVIDIA 9500GT with a VGA (blue cable) monitor. When I play Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer, I'll be playing for around 10-45 minutes, and the game will freeze. The pixels on my monitor will go a strange green, purple and other colours. After that, I'll have to manually push the reset button to reboot the computer. Also, with The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, sometimes (after around 15-20 minutes of playing) I'll fast travel, or open a door (ie load another area) and it will load. After the load screen is over, the game will freeze and get the strange pixels like above......

Oct 16, 2008I have an 8800GT and a 7600 GT Geforce card. The 8800 is for my primary monitor, a Nec, and also runs a small Dell. The 7600 is for two Dells. But when I go to Preferences in CS3 and check "GPU Settings" it says it detects the 7600 card, not the 8800. So then I looked at Vista color management and there it shows the monitor connected to the 7600 card as my default monitor. How can I change the default monitor to make it the Nec, which is already the primary? And will that cause Photoshop to then detect the 8800 card instead of the 7600?

Mar 12, 2009I've had this Vista with PSP10, storing all my graphic tubes on an external hard drive. I installed PSPX2, and now not all my graphics
show up in VIsta. They do in PSP, but I need to be able to view them in a window environment, etc. to move around and other things. It's only one type of file I cannot see, and that is any with a .psp extension, i.e., .psp, .pspimage, .psptub, etc. I can view my jpgs fine and gif's fine, and all other graphics I have on the external. It all worked wonderfully with psp10, no problems.
Paint Dpi: Image Not Hold Up
Mar 23, 2008I like the simplicity of Paint, even with it`s limitations. But the one draw back that is really frustrating is its low dpi resolution. When I try to print image on to a larger format, usually paper poster, the image just does not hold up. The pixel becomes distorted and image is unrecognizable. I want to be able print my drawings on to much larger mediums. Whats the solution? Is there an upgrade version of Paint. Or can anybody give me an other solution. I already know about Photoshop, Corel etc...but I am a simple illustrator.

Mar 23, 2008Several days ago I posted a question concerning the inability of my Microsoft Fingerprint Reader to function. I did not receive answers from anyone in the discussion groups. I spent several hours over several days speaking to a Microsoft tech support supervisor trying to get it to work, to no avail, and the case was closed by Microsoft as having no solution available.
This was not acceptable to me, being the curious person I am. I decided, what the hell, I'll just uninstall my OS, reformat and do a clean install. During the install I installed each and every update and application one at a time, checking the function of my fingerprint reader after each update and application, rebooting after each one. I had many updates and applications to install so it took me two days to discover the problem..........

I've come across a problem which i cannot find an answer to on the web. As i've only just purchased and installed the OS i've decided to contact microsoft help and support.
inputting my product ID for a retail copy (Not OEM), microsoft help and support states, "No charge support is not available from Microsoft.
The product ID indicates that this product may be supported by your computer manufacturer. Contact your computer manufacturer for support or select a different support option below."

Microsoft Security Essentials
Aug 3, 2009The Microsoft Security Essentials proved itself. My notebook started to run weird, lately. I was suspicious and start scan the whole system with McAfee, however it stopped on 11% of scan and showed me the error. I started it once more, but it was disabled again.
I have been using the Microsoft Security Essentials on the Windows 7 and because I was thinking about switching to this AV on the Vista at the end of this year, I got rid of the McAfee Total Security and installed the Microsoft, just to give it a try on Vista. Yes, it found and destroyed the trojan in the System32. Today, it blocked the another one during browsing the web.

1) If a poster is having hardware trouble, always respond with "It's YOUR fault, you should have done you HOMEWORK", regardless of the actual problem. In fact, reading the entire post isn't even necessary.
- example: "So what if your new $500 "Vista Certified" video card has no drivers? We never said it would work right NOW, we meant it MIGHT work LATER." BTW, "Homework" = "Upgrade Advisor", yea, we know it's seriously flawed, but who cares? We get to laugh at & ridicule those stupid enough to have trusted it in the first place. It's a "win-win" situation for us if ever there was one.
2) If a poster is having software trouble, always respond with "It's YOUR fault, you should have done you HOMEWORK", regardless of the actual problem. See? Easy isn't it? We went to great lengths to make sure upgraders would have to buy as much new software (and hardware) as possible. See, we have this "deal" with the vendors, but don't mention this online, just blame the vendors instead. They don't care, they're getting rich too. 3) If a poster protests or questions your reply, take it up a notch. Calling a poster stupid is usually sufficient to put them in their place. How dare they. Better yet, divert all attention by complaining about something totally unrelated, like top-posting or OT posts. Disparaging comments about the posters mental state or physical attributes are always a good way to sidestep any and all issues.......................
