Greetings: whenever I try to send a message on Windows Mail I get the following error code: 0x800CCC0F. I can receive messages but I cannot send out any messages. I have checked with my ISP (Astound) and they have been unable to solve the problem. As a result, I have been using Astound Webmail which is less convenient. Downloading incoming mail is not a problem, and I obviously can post to newsgroups. Although this is a new problem, I turned off Norton's checking of outgoing mail - no change. Verizon had us change to Port 587 last year so that's not the issue either. WM does send e-mail from my desktop so apparently the problem is specific to the laptop.
